I love the look of this sneaker! The fit takes getting used to. The arch area of shoe is wider than normal. I usually wear a size 9m, but ordered a 9w because reviews said to order a size larger. By ordering a wide the fit is good.

Love the shoes but as I am flat-footed the insole made the fit difficult. More comfortable with the insole removed but then there was no cushioning underfoot.

I used the suggestions on the website for sizing. I used size I use in my running shoes as suggested. Was surprised the width is good. I have a narrow foot and for a medium it fits fine with lace adjustment.

I’ve been searching for a long time for shoes that I can wear without my super picky feet hurting! These finally seem like they will work. My heel rubs a little, but hopefully that gets better as they break in. I wear a 9-9.5 usually, and got 9.5 wide in these.

These are a great comfortable shoe with a removable insole. Unfortunately, I have to wear a lift. The footbed is too shallow to accommodate my lift.

I was expecting the shoe to be small per all the reviews (I ordered my regular size.) but it fit perfectly. I was planning to put an insole in the shoe and enjoy it cuteness. But the sole is not as thick as it looks. I need lots of rubber between me and the sidewalk due to cold feet. This won't work. :(.

I listened to the reviews and ordered a 1/2 size up....they were WAY too big, so I had to exchange for my normal size. I ordered the wide width as I was afraid the toe box would be too narrow. The wide width has a little extra room, but I feel like the regular width would’ve been to tight. I have only worn them a few times, but I am satisfied so far. I ordered these because someone recommended Taos brand to help with plantar fasciitis and I thought this style was cute. I am a big fan of Chucks, so the Taos shoes reminded me a lot of them in appearance. This gives a great option for an orthopedic type shoe without actually looking like one.

I am excited about this shoe, but just had to return my size (10W) for a 10.5W. Definitely a little snug on the length.

Lots of reviews are saying to size up a half size. I needed to go up a full size *and* remove the insanely beefy insole to make these work on my feet. They are super cute on, they just run crazy small. And that insole! If you're used to wearing heels, the lift in the heel, cushioning, and arch support could be great for you. I hardly ever wear heels so it was just too much. I swapped in a different orthotic and really liked them. I decided not to keep them (Thank you for your return policy, Zappos!) because of the cream liner... Just looked really odd with white no-show socks (that of course do show some) and shorts.

Everything is good with these shoes, but the high arch support makes them a little crowded on the top, across the toes. I can't wear some of my normal socks with them, and always have to choose a lightweight pair. I may try a moderate-arch insole rather than the high-arch one, and see if that helps. Otherwise, they're comfortable, good-looking shoes.

They have really good support and I have been wearing them in the house and feel it helps with the back. They do run about a half size small as I usually wear a 5.5 and the size 6 fit well. They do take some getting used to with the firm arch support.

I had to take out the thick insole and substitute a thinner drugstore one to get enough room in the toe box for my bunions and hammer toes. Now they are very comfortable.

I ordered these in a 9.5 wide, my usual size. The shoes are gorgeous and very well made. I need a lot of arch support and these have a wonderful insole that you could remove if needed. I love the insole as it provides more archsupport than my usual insoles do. Big Plus. The reason I am returning them is that they are hard to walk on. There appears to be little cushion at the forefoot. I could remove these amazing arch support insoles with something softer, but then I would miss the arch support...... But they are gorgeous!!

Unlike other reviewers, I did not find these shoes to be super comfortable. If you are used to the cushiony fit of a Sketcher's walking shoe, you will find them to be stiffer with a harder bottom. That being said, they have a vastly superior removable insole with an extremely supportive arch support. Their removable insole is over twice the width of other comfort shoes I have tried. If you have worn the softer shoes like sketchers, you know that the light soft soles really don't hold up more than one season. I imagine that Taos will hold up for a much longer time. I love the distressed blue color. Although my foot is average width, when I got that size, it was too tight. I have a high instep, and the wide fit perfectly, even though I normally don't wear a wide. I found that with the regular width, the shoe slipped up and down on my heel. However with the wide width, my foot was lower in the shoe and the fit was better. Also, these shoes do have a roomy toe box in both the regular and wide width. Quite honestly, my feet rebelled when encased in the stiff canvas, however I think that these would be better walking shoes given the support and better insole than the lighter walking /comfort shoes.

Just the kind of shoe I was looking for in a color I love. A smidge big, but if I would have ordered my normal size they would have been too small.

I have wide, flat feet, so finding cute comfortable shoes is a nightmare. The insoles were very thick with a high arch, so I had to remove them and replace with flat insoles I bought at the store. They're really cute, but I'm not sure how they'll do on comfort because of the way they cut across the top of my toes. I'm a little concerned they might start hurting after awhile, but they're cute enough I want to give them a try. Maybe I'll update later.

The Taos Moc Star in Sage are a keeper. I also tried Keen Elsa III in Laurel, which I like the look of better, but they pinched my little toe, even going up half a size. I got the Moc Star a half size larger than my usual size, based on the recommendation on this site, and in wide, since I have slightly wide feet. Good arch support and I don’t need to replace the removable insole with an orthotic. I like the loop in the tongue the laces pass through, to help keep the tongue in place when you put them on. I use the extra shoe laces they came with, a very light tan color, to give a little pop.

These are really cute and comfortable. I've done some major walking in them and my feet don't hurt at all. I like the look of my Taos star better, but these are a fun addition to my shoe wardrobe.

So far, I am pleased with the Taos Moc Star. I did have to exchange them for a larger size. I usually wear a 9.5 shoe and sometimes only need a size 9 like in my Ecco Soft 7. I decided to try the 9.5 which ended up being too short. My toes were right at the top of the shoe. I ended up exchanging them for a size 10 which fit perfectly.

Shoes seem well made. Tons of arch support, but not much cushion for toe area. I added extra thin cushioning for toe region. Canvas is softer than other brands of canvas shoes. I first ordered regular and found it to be too tight in toe area. Reordered wide and there is adequate toe room. Some brands the wide width is too wide.

love these shoes. I have them in the green as well. Only a 4 star because the size I normally wear seemed small but the 1/2 up was too big. Cute on the foot but does make them appear wide.

tried the Moc Star and Plim Soul. Found Moc Star much more comfortable straight out of the box. Liked the colors of Plim Soul and style better. Plim has a little bit cleaner look, not as much detail stitching and I like the "heather" style of color. These were super cute and cozy, but not quite what I want. Tried the light gray. That shade was a bit of a wash out color for me, probably would like a darker color better.
