I wear size 12 NARROW, a very hard-to-find size, especially in lightweight running shoes. Thank you NEW BALANCE for making these shoes in narrow widths, especially in the larger sizes. These shoes are sized and styled in a way that they look "normal" (not clownish) in size 12! They are comfortable, good arch support, and well-styled.

I'm not crazy about the syle. But, I have very hard to fit feet (10.5 WW) so my choices are limited. I was looking for a good lightweight pair of everyday run errands, live life kind of shoes. These are nice. Not much gel support though, so you won't get what a running sneaker gives you. But I live in a warm climate and so far I am happy with them.

Very comfortable shoes, good for long walks and provide good stability and support. I have bunions and the extra wide width selection is a real plus.

I have a wide foot and while I loved the look of this shoe when I took it out of the bos, I couldn't get it on my foor. The tongue of the shoe is attached to the sides of the shoe, so it doesn't open up enough for me. Sorry to say I had to return them.

Beautiful color (lavender) and almost worth keeping, however, I found the toe box a little short and too wide and rounded. A plus side for some, this shoe shape will make large feet appear smaller. Otherwise, it was a comfortable sneaker and I think will work nicely for other people, just not me.

Like many of the other reviews, I thought this shoe was too short. My big toe was at the very end of the shoe. The color is really a dark gray, I thought it would be more purple.

This New Balance 1165v1 sneaker is attractive and light weight. The size was fine, both in length and width. I have a narrow foot and this sneaker fit without having to pull the laces so tight that the tongue was totally covered! However, it has a moderate built in arch and I have a flat foot. Walking in these sneakers hurt, even on thick carpet. Unfortunately, I purchased these sneakers so I can wear them to walk my large 2 year old dog for a couple of miles daily in the warm/hot weather months. These sneakers are being returned.

New Balance is always a great brand. I found these to run a bit small. I have a wide foot and the width feet okay but length was a bit short. A bit more sleek than old school NB shoes, overall nice look.

Super cute and light weight and stylish. Arch support is ok but the width is great. This is my 4th pair of new balances and my family buys them as well. We are a fan.

There wasn't quite enough padding in the shoe for me, so I did return them. My shoe size is a 7.5 and I did order an 8.5 in these as I usually size up for athletic shoes. The 8.5 did fine for me in the length and I did order the narrow as I do have a more narrow foot. If you have a narrow foot, I would definitely order the narrow as I still had to tie them fairly tight to fit properly. While the shoe didn't work for me, I do have to say that I am extremely impressed with zappos customer support - this was my first zappos purchase and I really was blown away by their fulfillment and return process - I personally have never experienced an online seller with such great processes, so I will not hesitate to buy from zappos in the future

This shoe was just okay. i recently ordered the Ryka Dash 3 and i'm very happy. it was exactly what i was looking for in both comfort, style, and price. thanks Zappos!

I guess the color name should have tipped me off, but these are PURPLE! They look grey in the picture. I’ve been with Zappos for years, and have never seen this bad a discrepancy. Great shoes, though - just not the right color.

Very disappointed. It needs a lot more support.

The left sneaker fit perfectly. The right sneaker's heel was too wide. Too bad. I liked these.

Toe box is too large for a narrow shoe

So light and comfy. May not have all the support for a heavy workout but perfect for a casual shoe with no seams to rub or restrict.

I like these shoes! I supinate markedly on the right, and these shoes hold my foot firmly in neutral position. I am able to walk-in them without knee or upper back pain, a great improvement. They do fit well in my usual NB size.

I am almost always a 9N in New Balance athletic shoes. This shoe felt a bit short as there wasn't much room beyond my toes, so I exchanged for a 9.5N. That worked. The width was right and they are overall a comfortable fit.

Comfortable, great looking shoe. The narrow width is perfect, but I needed a full size larger than my normal 8 1/2 to get sufficient length to accommodate socks.

I have Women's Walker style #1865 already and was looking for something lighter weight, more flexible and cooler for Summer wear. This style # 1165 pretty much does all of those things. I do find the Medium Width toe box is narrower than any other New Balance shoes I have. I'm afraid that if I had ordered Wide, they would be too loose in the heel. I just have to wear thin socks with this shoe. The insole could use more cushioning. It is an adequate shoe for all day wear. My legs and lower back don't ache after I wear them. I wear nothing but New Balance in various styles, but find that all the insoles use a rather uncomfortable fabric in the covering. This isn't my perfect shoe but it also won't get returned. Can't figure out why a light weight supportive shoe can't also be cushiony.

Very comfortable shoe. However, it does run short and the toe box is wide. New Balance shoes usually fit my narrow foot better than this style does.

Shoe runs shorter than other New Balance styles. I wear a 9 in Asics, but usually have to go with 8.5 in New Balance. For this shoe I had to exchange for a Size 9.
