This was my first experience wearing a fresh foam sneaker and even though comfortable with the foam padding material the shoe ran narrow in front which was to tight for me being a taller person with a large shoe size. I wear a size 13 standard and am on my feet for long hours at a time working n a kitchen and the narrow front was a little to tight in front so I went back to 626v2 for the wider front width.

I was looking for a good work shoes for evening shift school custodian. I walk 5-8 miles every evening at work on sometimes, slick wet tile. These shoes fit the bill. The slip resistant is excellent. The comfort is great as well. I worry about if the shoes will hold up. I've had these shoes around 3 months and I have to say, they are not holding up like i would have wanted. The "Fresh Foam" is starting to collapse. I thought industrial brand shoes would've held up better. The sole is holding strong though. I would've like if they were, some type, of water resistant.

These sneakers look good for an all black shoe that is needed for a work environment. However, without offering a wide version in my size it was a risk from the start. Beyond it being too narrow, the shoe just isn't supportive or have enough cushion for a long shift. I will wear these shoes in short burst of a few hours, but they won't be coming to work anymore. The Foam looks good...but their traditional soles work better.

Nice shoe, but the size seems too short. I wear a 13 wide. New Balance is one of the few places I can get shoes that fit. This one was wide enough, but my middle toe hits the end of the shoe and is painful to wear. Returned yesterday.

Depends on why you want them. The sole is amazing and you WONT SLIP on anything. You will squeak on every floor you walk on, so be prepared to annoy people in quite places.
The shoe feels small all the way around. I think that is due to the materials used.
They look very industrial and are very work appropriate.
However the soles are not thick or well padded as you would expect. They are pretty thin, you can feel surfaces as you walk. Dont step on a big stone or tack. Seriously, the soles are super thin and support is non-existent.
If you want serious walking shoes, these arent for you. If you dont want to slip and arent standing all day then these might work for you.

They run small and are not very comfortable at all. My lower back started to tighten up about 20mins after having them on. One of the worst wearing shoes I've own. That look great but not a good fit and cheap feeling when wearing them.

I use them for work. I didn't know they were not oil slip resistant. Even tho it says slip resistant. I'm constantly slipped and slides everywhere.

the sizing runs small, I usually get shoes that fit when I order 12, that was not the case with these shoes. Be sure to make sure they fit well before you wear them, you may not be able to return them

I agree with ratings that comment on the size, these shoes seem to run tight. My issue is the workmanship of the non-slip layer of the shoe. the bottom black non-slip later is coming apart from the regular sole. It's as if someone forgot to put the good glue on the shoe. I haven't had this issue with new balance shoes until they are like 1.5 years old or in that range, but this was after 4 months or less i noticed.

Though I selected an x-wide shoe the shoes sole and top are really too narrow

Even though these were supposed to be my normal size of 12= 4E, they are so narrow that they really hurt my feet. I wore them a couple of time to see if they would relax and break in, but they are still really tight and unwearable. I wasted the money on them for unwearable shoes.

I ordered these for work, I'm a chef. Wore them for one shift and both of my big toes are discolored from brusing. They were initially comfortable, lightweight and well made. I own several other size 12 New Balance shoes and have never had this issue.

These shoes are unwearable without an arch support. I have flat feet, but these have so little arch support I had to buy a $50 insole, then making them a little tight height-wise. Other than that, they're as advertized, pretty impermeable/unbreatheable, suitable for climate-controlled indoor work where you want to be able to wipe them off, eg nursing. They look pretty sharp.

I use these shoes for work and one shoe (Left) doesn't fit right. It rubs the back of my foot like it wasn't made right.

Casual. The look is great. Not confortable. Not enough "meat/cushion" on balls of feet. Not enough support. Sad to be disappointed..

New Balance sneakers typically have some substance to them; they feel substantial in your hand. These sneakers feel fragile and insubstantial. To make matters worse, they're not true to size. I ordered the size I typically wear and got them in wide width for extra measure. They are so narrow that I can't wear them with normal socks or they won't fit. This is not what I expected from the brand, and I am highly disappointed with the product.

I wear a size 16 wide so my choices are limited and I try these out and much to my dismay they look great but they have almost no support whatsoever and I need that

Have had tons of NB shoes over the years (4X here), I ordered these because I was lookiing for a shoe where the toe doesn't curl up so much (like my 1080), but these are just not comfortable.

I wanted to like this show for restaurant use.
I ordered x-wide and my pinky toes were still cramped. No arch support, so I put in my own insoles, but my heels started to hurt.
Doesn't seem stable either. I felt like I was about to roll an ankle.
It seems like an easy to clean shoe around the toes, except for the little vent holes all over the mid and rear.

I purchased these for the non-slip factor. I purchased New Balance for the arch suppose (and I normally only buy New Balance for this reason), but these 806 shoes had virtually zero arch support. I returned them, as after one day they were brutal on my feet. If they'd had arch support, I would have kept them.

I bought these for work. When I buy something in a wide, I expect a wide. I am not sure how you can call a shoe wide if it has a tapered toe. They are not wearable all day because of the constriction.
