I'm on my feet 8-10 hours a day. All these needed was some supportive insoles to make them all day comfortable. The heal cup is a little deep and rubbed the back of my heal until I changed the insole. Order half a size up.

Very comfortable and you can really sense the slip resistant soles.

I use these at work on a cement floor. The insert didn't have enough support for my feet. Used a 3rd party insert and now I love them. Pretty normal since every pair I have purchased at the NB store I needed to buy inserts.

This is my first pair of New Balance. I wanted to give some business to a 'Made in US' company. The shoes are very-well made and light weight. I use my pair mainly for walking. To get a proper fit I had to bump up a half size from my usual brand. The shoes fit well, but I have one issue with the design. The rise over the toes is lower than my old brand. Because of this I feel some pressure on the top of my big toes when walking. I'm hoping this will work itself out as I break them in.

Great shoe for walking, comfortable and they look nice. Every shoe I buy from NB, they feel like they'er custom fit.

I love these shoes. I have worn them to work every day for a year and they are still going strong! They run small, so order a size up. Great style, comfortable, and durable!

Love how light weight they are; however, I need a larger than normal (for me) size and it is out of stock in the grey so I'm out of luck. If you wear a smaller size or want black, they are a nice shoe.

I really wanted this shoe to work for me. I like the full blackout look because makes it able to wear for more situations. But toe box is narrow and shallow. I went up a size from 15 to 16 but still squeezed my toes together.
I'd also recommend:
None, I wear mostly New Balance and Dunham because they have the size and width range I need.

I wear size 9.5 4E and these shoes are too narrow and tight for a wide foot. They look great and feel great but do not come in anything wider than 4E. Very disappointing because I liked them very much.

Had a lot of hopes for this shoe because I live in the Fresh Foam Kaymin. And this is promoted as a shoe for wearing while working and standing. I wear 15-4E and felt tight in toe box and narrow in general. Possibly because the mesh coating on fabric limits its expansion? Will try if make in a 6E. Back to looking for another Fresh Foam in a blacked out look I can wear to work.

Hello. For those interested, the shoe is nice. It fits snug not tight. Very comfortable and light. Traction is great! Time will tell if the shoe holds up to work use. The upper is not as thick as leather so I am a little concerned. I have a pair of New Balance 411 walking shoes I use for work and they have lasted A Year and a half, with very little wear to the sole and look great still! Hope New Balance did the research on this new material because they are twice as expensive.

Great restaurant work shoe. Was about a size too small but my feet are ok and I can’t return them. I ordered another pair in a larger size for when these start to fall apart. So far so good though. They’re very water resistant but then not breathable as a consequence. Overall I think these are the best option for slip resistant work sneakers that I’ve ever owned. I wouldn’t say they’re good looking. They’re just not horribly ugly, which is what most slip resistant sneakers look like. Make this shoe without all the dimples/texture. Also I think the price is what it is because it’s a niche sneaker so they charge what they want. This is a $70 sneaker on it’s best day.

These are very lightweight and comfortable around the restaurant but are not great for walkin to work in outside. My 13 4E fit very well. I'm waiting to see how well and for how long these hold up in the restaurant industry, as they don't feel durable. We will see!

Needed a pair or slip resistant shoes for work. Never owned New Balance before - thought I would give them a shot. So far so good, not quite a week yet. Had to order a half size larger but pretty comfortable after swapping out the insole. As far as looks go they’re alright. Slip resistant shoes don’t have much to offer as far as style. I’m trusting in the name brand for durability... we’ll see.

I'm a chef in NYC. These are great non-slip shoes for the kitchen as long as you aren't in a messy wet kitchen. Your feet will get wet in those environments, but for clean working kitchens I wouldn't wear anything else.

I'm a chef and I am on my feet for most of the day. I have tried most slip resistant shoes from the major shoe companies. I just received these fresh foam 806 shoes about a week ago. I am pleased with the level of comfort these provide. I would like them to develop a water resistant slip resistant fresh foam shoe as feet tend to get wet in commercial kitchens.

These are the slipperiest non slip shoes I have ever worn. They took several days of purposefully scuffing the soles before they weren't like walking on a slip and slide. They also run very small.

I think the overall shoe would be perfect had the toe box been wider. When you work in a kitchen it is important to have comfortable shoes and room for your feet to swell some working in the heat and being on your feet for so long. Even though I ordered them wide, the toe box was too narrow and uncomfortable. A big disappointment, because I am a huge NB supporter.
