When someone (like me) orders a 4E or extra wide shoe it is because we need one. It makes no sense to me that you would make a supposedly extra wide shoe with a sharp taper forward of the arch.

Great shoe. Unfortunately I couldn't use them. The upper part doesn't allow for the wearer to use inserts. When I use my foot inserts there isn't enough room to put my foot in the shoe. This is unfortunate because the shoe is exactly what I was looking forward to. A soft upper that is flexible.

Bought these for my husband to wear at work. He's a mechanic and is on his feet all day. He wears a 10 wide. He was looking forward to trying these NB work shoes (been buying Skechers for years but now they keep falling apart!) but the 10 wide is not wide at all. He said his toes were scrunched so bad he couldn't wear them. Now we have the hassle of returning them during the Black Friday shipping rush.

They look awesome but far from awesome.
I have always bought NB and they have seen to do well always. This time they didn't do so well. For some reason they made my feet stink like cheap shoes. I have never had that problem. They are light which is a good thing. The inside soles are kind of thin. I wore them for two weeks just to make sure they were broken in but no change. They got worse. Maybe it Is just Just me that my feet stunk with these but that's what happened. Comfort level was three stars they felt flat.

Got 11.5 4e width and they aren't that wide at all and seem a half size undersized . Every other pair I've bought have fit great but these are just too small . Im a mailman and was really looking forward to wearing these

I ordered and returned order and it took exactly 10 business days to receive refund. I called seeing if they could do it sooner and they will feed you a line it's up to your bank processing which after calling my back they said it's when they process. I have been with New Balance for quite a few years and I'm leaving them because of this. I wish them luck in the future but not from me.

I don't know what's going on with my feet, but it has been virtually impossible to find shoes that are comfortable and stylish. I'm wearing an old pair of New Balance court shoes sized 10/2E that need to be replaced. I also wear two pairs of Dunham casual shoes sized 10/4E that fit well. I loved the look of these shoes and at 10.5/4E, I was afraid they would be too big. However, I could barely get my foot into it. My big toe pushed right up against the end of the toe box and the ball of my feet felt crushed together. I checked the size three times and it was 10.5/4E. Very sad I had to return.

I am a food service manager and I am on my feet all day. I have heard great things about new balance which is why I decided to try this product. The size runs small and I ordered them online :/ There is almost no arch support which is crazy to me considering they are non-slip. I was really excited to try these and they fell short of the mark.

It is exactly what the it says: "fresh foam". It means walking on sponge, the heel crushed after couple of hours. No stability in foot. Returned.

These run very small. I'm normally an 11 in NB and had to go to a 12 in this model. Zero arch support so you'll need inserts if you need it. NB made an odd choice a few years back and changed their last (shape of shoe) by creating a smaller toe box. They also created a stronger outer edge which forces my foot inward, making their shoes very uncomfortable. Ultimately I had to send them back.

I bought these for a restaurant job, looked like they would be comfortable. I tried them 2 different shifts and both times switched to my old shoes within 10 minutes, they were not slip resistant at all. I was slipping all over the place! The shoe does say “slip resistant and oil resistant” Very disappointed because other seemed comfortable and a lot of the reviews said they were great for others restaurant jobs. I was looking forward to wearing these. I returned them.

Shoes are not true to size. Runs small. I'm a pastry chef in a fast paced kitchen. With these shoes, my feet start hurting after 3 or 4 hours of work. They have no support and are not comfortable at all. Should have gone with something else.
