Purchased these minimus trainers to wear as my gym shoe when lifting weights to avoid excess cushion and heel-toe drop that is found is most athletic/running shoes. I love these shoes and plan to purchase another pair when my current ones wear out. Have had my current pair for a year and wear them 3-5 times per week for the gym and minimal cardio work if I do not want to change into running shoes. These shoes do the trick!

They are comfortable to walk around it. The toe box isn't too tight like other minimal shoes I've tried. The "metatarsal support" is a little weird, but not bothersome to me. Haven't tried running yet but are good for day to day and lifting. Less drop than reebok I believe.

I love the vibram sole, and they 2E wide are excellent for those who have wide flat feet! Great feel for the feet at the gym! Found a great deal at the Ontario, CA outlet store!

General walking and training. The sole is not thick enough for power walking on the road. But the lightweight makes it nice for training in a gym type environment

I'm very happy with this shoe. I bought it because it is light, and, despite its light fabric, it's strong enough for my workouts while being light and providing moderate support. If you are looking for a running shoe to run 3+ miles a day, a light shoe like this probably won't hold up, but it has been great for weight lifting and running 1 to 2 miles a day, 5 days a week. Love how light it is, and I find it to be sufficiently comfortable and supportive!!
I'd also recommend:
Asics, Saucony, Nike and Adidas.

I have used these shoes for work, walking and running. They are very comfortable, fit like a glove and have insane grip. I would definitely buy again.

The shoe took a little time to break in nut is now OK. I'm not sure how these shoes will hold up under hard wear. I'll wager they won't last month. I need a shoe with more support. I'm going to try the Prevail.

Fit great to me. I have a high arch, slim foot but do have a wider front and these sneaks although everyone states they are narrow I have absolutely no problem with it also does not hurt my bunion by the way the foot sits in the sneaker. Very well designed. Definitely for a fit individual for training purposes. Also helped with my plantar fasciitis pain.

Look. I'm not sure who all these people criticizing the 20v7 are and why their feet are monstrously wide. I've worn the minimus for many generations and this is by far my favorite iteration. At 6' 190lb a size 10 fits me like a glove and is my favorite workout shoe for double unders, heavy deadlifts, box jumps, and a number of other training activities. I've had mine now for 6 months and they've held up exquisitely and look nearly new and I would love to get another pair if they only had more colors... If you're looking for a minimalist trainer that fits like a glove for explosive lifting/training look no further.

I have four pairings of these things. These shoes helyheal my plantar fasciitis. These help me feel the ground more because of how low the sole is and they free the motion in my feet because the shoe is not rigid. I ordered my exact size and I don't have any problems. I can move lateral in these which is a plus because most training shoes you can only sprint forward.I hope for a basket that has vibram. Maybe the NB team can design one for Kawhi Leonard ... Any way the 20v7 is a great design ,I hope more colors come out... If you drop another iteration of this shoe don't drop the ball

This is hubs 5th pair of this style of minimus. He's tried others, but always comes back to these. Although other reviewers state these run small, he finds he still needs his normal size. I have no doubt we will be purchasing more.

I use these shoes for weight training at the Y. I love them. They're just the lower-profile shoe I was looking for. Chances are good I'm going to order the gray ones, too. (P.S. I'm a tall female with big feet. I don't think these shoes are girly, but I like that they're not big, clompy, tennis shoes.)

I normally don’t write reviews, but these shoes are special. First, I get compliments on them whenever I wear them. They fit like a glove and are light as a feather, and they have amazing arch support. Not a combination often found in shoes at this price point. I am considering buying a second pair, but have no reason other than I like the, so much I would love to have them in another color. The wife won’t let me though. She knows best in most matters, but I think she’s wrong here.

They're light and very comfortable. I've been looking for a shoe like this since the 80's. I'm a martial artist, these shoes are perfect for kicking.

i got em for cross training. i walk all day, mixed with Olympic lifting and agility work. they work for everything and keep me low to the ground for running. i like the elastic that keeps the tongue in place and the sock like feel of the tongue. very comfortable and does what i need it to do. i tried on the nano 8 and speed tr from reebok and chose these

Very nice. Size is just a number. It means nothing. You must try them on or order three sizes up to see what works.

These shoes are great for any training involving lifting. After switching to Nike for a while, I just went back to the minimus and they are a better shoe for training. They run a little narrow, I wish I had ordered the wide.

I am used the Nike Flynit running shoes size 12.5, which are pretty snug fitting. These have more more room in the toes, and are almost too big. However, they have an awesome sole and my calves are very sore because I am actually running with good form with these shoes. I would absolutely get these again, but definitely order you size or even one half size less.
