It runs both narrower and shorter than the 20v6. Very uncomfortable and larger sizes are not available

I bought two pairs of New Balance Minimus shoes years ago. I finally needed to replace them but that style is no longer available. I ordered the 20v7 Trainer because it looked the most like my older pair. I ordered the same size as my older shoes. The 20v7 looks and fits exactly like my older Minimus training shoes. I'm very happy with them.

These are great shoes for the gym. The thin soles don't have a lot of squish and feel much more stable when lifting. So glad I found these.

I will use the for walking and sports. I like lightweight wide athletic shoes and these fit the bill.

I have worn the Nike Free minimus shoes for years until six months ago. I workout in a Mixed Martial Arts gym and we frequently do boot camp style workouts. The floor in the gym gets slick with dust and sweat, making it difficult to not slip. I purchased these shoes exclusively for the Vibram soles which I've always been a fan of because they are slip resistant. Not only are these shoes slip resistant, they are comfortable and stretchy in the foot and toe box. If you are a Crossfitter or do any type of station work, these are your shoes. I came back today to purchase another pair, but my size is no longer available. I am a size 12 and have slightly wider than average foot. These Minimus shoes have been the best I have ever worn. I just hope the next version is even better.

Great shoe for working out. I would not suggest for running as there is not much padding in the sole.

This is my first Minumus trainer and I really like it. I did notice the tongue strap at first that some others have mentioned but as soon as I started working out I never noticed it and didn't bother me again. Really love the feel of vibram sole as well. I use these for weight lifting, Hiit / Cardio workouts and rowing.

Very much like the technology. Use them for Crossfit workouts. I have worn 14 2E in the past - this model runs small so I'd recommend going up at least 1/2 size. I had to jump to 15s - they fit well.

I love this product for a neutral position of the foot. Although for a Different style of running, it is great for flexibility of the foot when you're working out the legs

The shoe felt about half size smaller than my normal size. Also was uncomfortable in the arch area the first couple of wears but once with in they are pretty comfortable, I bought another pair in red.

I use the Minimus 20v7 Trainer for weight lifting and cross training. The zero-drop is great for lifts like Military Press, Squats and Dead Lift, because it makes it easier to maintain a neutral posture during the lift. Shoes with a thicker heal, e.g., standard running shoes, tend to rock you forward onto the balls of your feet, which puts extra stress on the knee joint. The 20v7 is also a great shoe for exercises like the Bulgarian Split Squat, where you're balancing your weight on one foot because the minimalist sole increases proprioception. Thicker, squishier soles, e.g., traditional running shoes make it harder, at least for me, to maintain a neutral foot position and maintain my balance.

The only thing I dislike is the little membrane connecting the tongue to the shoe - other than that perfection. Also I would buy in more colors. This is the perfect shoe for me.

I have been doing CrossFit for over 10 years now and seem to be the only one who uses the Minimus 20v7. Just bought my 2nd pair. I love the comfort of the shoes, but most of all I like the lightweight aspect of the shoes compared to Nanos and Metcons. Since the heels are minimal, there is little to no heel to toe drop and they aren't soft like a typical running shoes would be, so digging the heels in is no problem!

These were a gift for my adult son. He has loved New Balance for many years and loves to get a new pair every Christmas! Has already worn these to the gym and said they are so comfortable.
