Chaussures pratiqu?es sur le tour du mont blanc sous l'orage la neige et le beau temps. Elles sont polyvalentes confortables, leur ?tanch?it? sera suffisante pour des conditions orageuses et cours d'eau. Elles sont parfaitement stables, et l'amorti est tr?s agr?able.

Have had this model for four years, used in during long trekking with heavy backpack in mountain terrain, hunting and lighter day-trips. The waterproof membrane is now worn out and I am buying the same model again.

This is my second pair and they are great! Tough boots, comfortable, water proof and great quality. My other boots were still working great just looked worn due to use. Wanted another pair that looked a little fresher for work.

I purchased these boots to replace my old pair of hunting boots. My initial impression taking them out of the box was that they had a great finish and looked solidly built. Upon putting them on, the comfort was amazing just like wearing a pair of running shoes. There are a couple of spots that will have to wear in but even with that they are incredibly comfortable to wear.

I bought these a month ago and they fit great and are comfortable to wear for an extended length of time.

Use the boots for over one month. Wear them every day. Never a sore spot. Best boots I have bought in many years.will see how they stand up to a few months use.

3rd pair of quest 4D boots now, previous were the 2GTX. Big test will come late September when doing the East half of the C2C, but so far so good. Soles on previous versions seem to wear out sooner than expected so will keep an eye on these. Overall I like these boots and would purchase again.

Salomon brand is my first time to wear, love it. Very comfortable similar to UA baskeball with charged cushion. That is perfect, no pain in joints/back. Love it, I will keep with Salomon brand, rock!! Been wear with hiking on any kind of trail path, even walked in 5 inches cold water, no wet. Waterproof!! We recently hiked at Paradise at Mt. Rainier, on the Skyline (strenuous) trails included High Skyline to topped off at 7,100 feet then down on Golden Gate Trail for approx total 6 miles/1,700 feet up/down. That boots work very well, keep my ankle secure from twist, good traction on strenuous rocky uphill/downhill, muddy, wet rocks in the cold streaming water. My feet are in great shape after hiking. Thanks to Salomon, I will definitely forward to buy Salomon hiking boots and shoes in future. Thanks.

I bought these boots for work, Hiking, Mining, construction, demolition, landscaping and they are still going strong after a year. None of my other boots ever made it past 6 months in 29 Palms desert rock without busting a sole. Salomon boots with Vibram soles. Not a single blister ever and have taken them on 12+ mile hikes with zero issues. Best all around boot!

I just put these boots through some tough conditions. I climbed two 14ers both with 1000' of elevation gain/loss per mile over 8 miles and a 12,500' high alpine lake in 4 days in the Collegiate peaks wilderness in Colorado. These boots rock! The conditions were wet, snowy, and steep. I had to walk through multiple streams where the boulders you stepped on were submerged in 2-5 inches of water, water was flowing down the trail, had to kick step multiple snow fields, and ascended/descended some pretty steep approaches. These boots did not fail! Twice I got hot spots due to the extreme conditions of the trail but I caught it early enough and put leukotape on the hotspot and continued on. Things I like about these boots: - waterproof - rubber toe guard - stability - tread grip - comfortable - classic boot look - rugged - lace lock Things I did not like: - Nothing! They fully met my expectations! I will buy another pair of Salomons for hiking drier conditions or for thru-hiking where weight matters. For backpacking and Peak bagging these boots are awesome!

I bought this boot due to the good reviews. Turns out they are correct. The boot fit comfortably out of the box and is true to size. Good ankle support and looks great. Not too heavy and they have good traction on rock.

This is my second pair of these boots. Like all Salomons', they take some time to break in. Once they are, these are great boots! I wear mine for duty-use during tactical training including helicopter work and boonie humping. Gortex is not great for the latter but they'll protect you and give you the support you need to accomplish a mission. They're also great for the range if your training in gravel / dirt and firing and hustling from multiple positions

Owned for just under a year now and just as comfortable now as the day I first put them on! Wear them most days for work in long wet grassy fields! Light enough for long hikes too, very sturdy and supportive! Bought the orange and grey pair for WHEN my current ones are on their last legs.

I just returned from a 5 day hike over bishop pass with a 50 lb pack. The boots were brand new, barely broken in and I didn't get any blisters. The snow was way heavier than expected, so we ended up in crampons dealing with sun cups for most of the trip. Even without gaters, the boots stayed dry the entire time. There were many post holes up to my thigh, but the gortex worked. The ankle support saved me as jumping from sun cup ridge to ridge was a effort in balance. Overall, the boots performed amazingly! Would definitely buy again.

Had a pair in a different colour previously that are ready to retire, These were instantly comfortable, and had no issues hiking a few hills in Canada. (The boots wanted to go see the mountains, my body used to fenland did not) Amazing for wider feet, also great adjustability being able to have different tension on the arch and leg areas of the laces.

Fantastic well fitting boot that supports plenty of weight on long hikes. Great footwear.
