Got them as a replacement for an old pair of the same boot. Happy with the different colour option this time. Very comfortable boot, I find they require very little breaking in. My first outing in them was a 9hr 1900m assent day In the Lake District, no blisters or feet issues to mention.

I purchased these boots for Search & Rescue, similar to some of the other reviews. I have had these boots for approximately five years and they have been used exclusively Search & Rescue. Almost all miles have been in the field or in the field training. They fit great from the start and don't have much of a break in period. I usually carry a load of around 50 lbs and they have served me very well. They lasted well beyond what I expected. I have used these to climb in, as we don't have the luxury to change into dedicated climbing shoes. The traction and feel was better than other boot I have tried. I am very impressed. After five years and more 2019 boot research I am still convinced this is still the boot for me. I am placing another order which is how I ended up leaving this review. A++

Excellente chaussures de rando, elles allient confort l?g?ret? dans cette cat?gorie et bloc semelle performant (amorti, accroche et stabilit?) Convient aussi bien pour les randos ? la journ?e tous chemins que pour l'itin?rance.

Ich benutze diesen wunderbaren Wanderschuh schon einige Jahre und bin nach wie vor restlos ?berzeugt. Ich habe schon so viele andere Wanderschuhe gehabt. Keiner war so ?berzeugend wie dieser bei Wanderungen. Wandere fast ausschlie?lich in den Mittelgebirgen, zuletzt 18 km auf dem Rothaarsteig. Immer bequem, ob im kalten Winter oder bei hohen Temperaturen im Sommer. Sehr empfehlenswert!

I'm now on my 4th pair of these boots, I just love them, over the years, Salomon have made improvements, such as longer laces and otholite insoles, which has made them even better. They are comfortable, easy to wear, look good and do the job they are designed for. Even when I've had the odd issue, Solomon have come through with the 2 year warranty and kept a loyal customer very happy... With these you get what you pay for in product, service and support. Buy them you won't be disappointed. Just a note, I'm a size 9 normally, but purchase size 10 in these boots for a more comfortable fit. (UK)

These boots have been a physical and visual delight. I feel like a machine when I slip into them! I've played in several different terrains and they eat it all up.

Awesome boots!!! I bought these boots to use for SERT training and callouts. But, I wear them for landscaping, hiking, gardening, everyday wear, hunting.... well everything now. Almost all of the members of my SERT Team are wearing these boots and they swear by them. Since I have purchased these boots, I have put them through the ringer. The fit was great right out the box and there was no break in period. I have trained in very wet conditions and my feet have stayed dry. I liked these boots so much, I bought a pair to wear for regular duty. I would recommend these boots to anyone looking for a comfortable durable tough boot.

Been hiking the trails here in Montana and this shoe looks as good as it performs: with style and ruggedness

This is my 2nd pair of these boots over the last few years. I hike and hunt a lot in rough backcountry with heavy packs. Theae boots beat anything else I've tried. I've owned a bunch of other boots over the years and these are great. Light weight and study with plenty of ankle support

I wear these 12hrs a day carrying a pretty heavy load out on duty. They are durable and comfortable but do take a little breaking in.

I've been wearing these boots every day for the past 2 months. Great quality and comfort. I used to wear heavy leather boots and will wear the Quest from now on.

Haven't gone a long trek in them yet but have done a dozen 6-9 mile hikes in the mountains and they are great.
