Just received these in black. Great feel used the size feature and it worked perfectly. If I got the size I wore with older Merrell they would have been 1/2 small. Nice and warm/light. Like a good sneaker but invincible. Got here just in time for a blizzard.

As a newspaper photographer I need footwear that can handle anything I throw at them at a moments notice. The shoes fit the bill keeping my feet warm dry, with reliable traction, and an understated styling to blend in. The only downside is that they run large, they seem to be designed to be worn with heavy hiking socks, with regular socks they're a little big.

Excellent boot. Lacing rubs a little at the ankles, but otherwise solid

These are great for long hikes with support for your ankles. Does need breaking into the shoes. Waterproofing worked well in light to medium showers

I was really impressed by the quality of the product and its finishing. I dont regret getting the shoe since i was paranoid abt it at first.
I dont like the very top 2 hooks which is why i gave it 4 starts

I don't know the length I've had these, but the laces are starting to come apart and I just want to know how to order a new set. They only came with the laces in them so I need to order a replacement set.

This shoe is stylish and comfortable. These are good for campfire parties and hiking trips. The color is an eye catcher, and the comfortability will allow you to dance or hike all night.

Actually ordered my size and they were way too big. Probably about 1.5 sizes too big

The boots are very comfortable and the TPU toe provides good protection against stubbing of the toe. They do feel like they will wear out quickly though.

Used for couple of hikes. Overall good performance. Front side could have been better (bit softer material from the inside). Great light weight hiking gear.

Bagged a peak in these on the first use. Super light, very grippy, and comfortable out of the box. Fit is just a touch wide and a half size big (I'm usually a 10.5, but I'm a 10 in these)

Shoe is great, does need to be broke in a little at first. Good snug fit and surprisingly breathable for being waterproof.

Well made, really light! Great for hiking, if you like to move fast!
Definitely water resistant / proof if you aren't submerging your foot over the top of the boot (contrary to other reviews on here). No problem with the water resistance whatsoever.
One gripe is that the heel hold is a bit looser than I'd like. Pretty uniform width all the way down, so if you like a nice toe box, combined with a strong heel hold...may find heel a bit looser that you'd like toward the rear of the boot. Also, insole is a bit flimsy, likely going to combine with an aftermarket insole from superfeet to dial in the fit some more.
If you like to hike fast, over tough terrain, a good option against super heavy, clunky hiking boots!

Just wore these 3 times. 2 hikes and around cottage.
After taken them off. Bottom of my heel kills and i cant step down on it for a day. Have to walk on toes.
So sore each time ive worn them.
I will try insoles. See if that helps. Its never happened to me before.
Other then that. Over all good boots. Light. Fits good. Good support while hiking.
I'm assuming its the insole giving me issues.
Ive worn running shoes and winter boots on trails. No problems.
Good luck

I work as a field ecologist and like to use synthetic boots that are lightweight and dry out quickly if submerged. These boots meet those requirements. They seem durable enough to last more than one brutal field season but we will find out. They are not a 5/5 because they are a bit too roomy around the toes: slightly too long but perfectly wide. Every shoe is different... these seem really good and the price point isn't so bad.

I've taken these boots on one 30 mile trek. On day 2, It felt like something within the boot had come loose towards my left toe, and it was almost like a pressure point that could be repositioned. I couldn't seem to get rid of it, but the boot was comfortable in every other aspect. After the trek I was able too look into the issue a little bit better. It turns out there is a layer of clumpy, dried up mud/sand in the middle, SEALED layer of the boots. There is no way in or out for the sand, and a small clump was the cause for the pressure point since I was able to crush it. I gave them 4 stars because the boot is comfortable right off the bat, does well on the trail and are light as can be. I am confident that it is just a weird defect and can be taken care of with warranty.

I bought this boot for work. I am on my feet all day outside and walk around 6 miles a day mostly on dirt roads. They are waterproof, which was the reason i bought this pair. They were comfortable from when I first put them on and my feet dont hurt when I come home at night. They run a little big. I wear a size 11/11.5 in nikes and the 11s are just a little lose, but perfect to fit Dr. Sholls in for the extra comfort. I can not comment on durability due to only having and wearing them for less then a month, but no issues as of now.
