I ordered a 9W. The leather is nice and soft and they are really cute. Although the toe box is wide enough, unfortunately, the back heel strap did not tighten enough for me. A smaller size will be too short.

This is an okay shoe. Comfort is fine. It does run a half size too big. I always wear a 9 med, but ordered this in an 8.5 med. It fit perfectly. I just think it looks odd.

I really wanted these to fit, I liked the style and am a Clarks fan. Tried two sizes, neither worked. They run at least a full size long, but even after sizing down 1.5 sizes, they were still too long, but the wide width was not really wide enough to be comfortable. As other reviewers mention, the straps are oddly short--you can't possibly cover up the velcro with the leather top strap--it's inches too short. So the Velcro is ugly and exposed, and becomes a magnet for dirt and debris. Sadly, they're going back.

Too bad this doesn't fit properly around ankle - short strap even in the wide :(

Clarks is my go-to brand for casual sandals to wear to work with khakis. This particular shoe is at least a size too big--I mean an inch longer than it should be in front of my toes. It's almost comical; something must have gone wrong in manufacturing. Did they forget to convert feet to inches or something?! Love Clarks, will return for another size.

While these shoes are "cute" to look at, I was unable to make them fit my feet properly. The 2 hook & loop closures are very small so there really is very little room to tightened them for a better fit. They felt wider than a medium. The insole was very comfortable but my foot just slid all over the foot bed. They have to be returned.

The Clarks Saylie Moon in Pewter/black sole is an attractive shoe. The straps could not be tightened around my heel so every time I took a step my heel came up and inch or more. The sandals did not feel secure or supportive at all. I wear only shoes with arch support and to me these had no arch support. Clarks, in general, do not have sufficient arch support.

Returned because I needed a double wide.

This sandal looked "old " to me in the picture, but I decided to give them a try after seeing them on someone's feet. I took a chance, and sadly, these shoes still looked "old" to me, both in the box, and on my feet. Also, they were extremely wide- strange for a medium width shoe. Luckily, Zappo's is the best company in the world to deal with, and I was able to return them easily. I know that another cute sandal is in my future!!

The fit isn't great on these. (1) It isn't possible to loosen the ankle strap without lots of Velcro showing and the strap not staying closed (2) The toe portion of the shoe is far too long (3) The ankle strap rubs where the seam is stitched. Ultimately, these are not worth keeping.

The navy blue shoe looked almost black on the website. I realize navy blue is dark blue, but figured it must look bluer in person, or they wouldn't have called it blue. In daylight, maybe some people would think it's blue, but in artificial light it looks absolutely black.

Pretty sandal and soft leather, but if you have a high instep these may not work for you. The adjustability of the ankle strap is much too short.

This review is a cry out to Clarks - why oh why can't you ditch the velcro that seems to be found on all your shoes...with an adjustable metal buckle I could adjust these to fit. Buyer beware - if your foot doesn't fit exactly, the velcro is so small you can't adjust it to fit.

I really loved this shoe, but the strap was too short to go over the top of my foot, so I had to return them. If they had worked out, I would give them 5 stars across the board.

I ordered a 9 wide in this shoe bc sometimes I can wear the Clark's wide. But this shoe has a footbed of a medium and my foot j hung over the sides at the ball joint, plus it was a full size longer than a 9.

I was unable to order the sandal in N so thought I’d give them a try in M, the width was not as much of a problem as the fact my toes went beyond the tip of the sandal.

I thought they'd be wide enough for my feet which are somewhat swollen, but I could not even get them on.

I’ve owned and loved this style in the past, but I am returning this pair. The sizing has changed...the footbed is at least a half size too long, and the toe bed is too narrow even for my narrow feet.

Sandal was not made well in the sense that the straps and velcro were not generous enough - especially the strap that crosses the foot near the ankle. I could just picture the manufacturer calculating how much more cheaply the shoe could be made by the ungenerous length of the strap and velcro to which it attaches. I have almost an identical pair made by another manufacturer and will try to replace the shoe with that brand. In addition to this sandal, I ordered three pairs of Clarks and they all fit beautifully. Will keep those, but am returning these.

I was so excited to get these NAVY sandals! They look great coming out of the box. Right foot on...it fits perfectly! Left foot on...this seems awfully big. The strap around the heel is much longer..almost 1/4 inch...than the same strap on the right shoe. No matter how much I try to tighten using the velcro closure, my foot still slides in the left shoe. Maybe the manufacturer sewed a larger size strap into a size 8 footbed? They are on the way back now. I'm very disappointed because I really like this style.

lovely style shoe but not good for a narrow flat foot.

Since I am recuperating from Plantar Fasciitis I was hoping that these shoes would provide support and comfort and some styling. Unfortunately the footbed was not comfortable and in fact it felt like my foot was sliding.
