I wore these around the house 4-5 different days and I had a hard time figuring out why these shoes bothered me. They were very comfortable but when walking, the ankle strap rubbed a bit high on the ankle and felt restrictive to movement, no matter where I adjusted the strap. I have had this size and type sandal from Clark's before but I think there has been a slight change in the style that "rubbed me the wrong way".

I'm an 8.5-9 W or WW (bunions), and I'm always looking for light, comfortable sandles to wear around the house or run to the store in. I really wanted to like this light Clark's shoe and thought the three velcro closures the phhoto seems to show would give me the width I need in a toe box. Unfortunately, the image is deceptive: the velcro "clasp" over the instep is purely decorative and not adjustable. I also found the T-strap on the inside wasn't a good substitute for stability for those of us with a lot of pronation, and offset the arch support offered by the sturdy 1" heel. But the deal-breaker, for me, was the non-adjustable strap in front. I imagine for those who are looking for a lightweight casual sandal and don't have a bunion problem, this could be a good pick. Caution: I first ordered an 8.5, which is about the shortest size I normally wear; this 8.5 was 1/2" longer than usual, so I've have called it at least a 9. I reordered a size 8 and that fit well, as far as length was concerned--unfortunately, the toe box width was proportionately smaller and I couldn't get it on. Too bad! Don't know why the first strap isn't also adjustable.

I'm beginning to think that Clarks is not the best brand for me. Once again the arch support was not enough. Also I did not feel comfortable in the slightly higher heel. The sole material looked like it wouldn't have much traction on wet pavement.

I had to look twice at the width of these shoes. They were way to narrow for my wide feet. If the front strap had been truly adjustable they might have worked ok. Too bad. They’re nice looking, look sturdy and foot bed was comfy.

The footbed of this shoe is wonderful and it fit my foot very snuggly, but the back strap rubbed on my ankle bones and made them too uncomfortable for me to wear.

The size and fit initially felt good, but the longer I wear them, the less I like them. The arch support feels very weak, especially on my right foot, which seems to pronate. However, my biggest issue is that while they look like they are adjustable from the front strap, they are not. The longer I have them on, as my feet swell, they become uncomfortably tight. I thought I could loosen the strap, but the webbing underneath the strap is tight and not adjustable. So the strap is for looks. I now have a huge blister on my metatarsal, and cannot wear them anymore.

I bought these same sandals years ago, and I still wear those. I bought the new ones because the old ones looked worn. I was so disappointed! The front strap on the new ones is nearly an inch shorter than the front straps on the old ones. The Velcro strips wouldn't meet. Even though the sandals fit otherwise, I had to send them back. Why would Clarks do that?

I love Clarks, and this is the only disappointment I've ever had with them.

Pretty Sandal. I am not impressed that the top strap is for show only. Really Clarks? Woman are looking for a true fit not show. I needed that strap to tighten the toe area as my feet are on the skinny side. Anyone with a little fat there it would fit just perfect. It appears to provide arch support which is also a plus. If you have feet with some flesh these would be a great buy. I had to send mine back.

Loved these sandals but sadly have to return them. Despite having small feet and a normal arch, the top strap is not long enough to cover the Velcro strip on the side. So even though I like the style and comfort, I have to give these sandals a low overall rating. What a disappointment, as these were just what I needed for the summer.

I first bought these shoes a few years ago and the fit and quality was much better. They were in a copper metallic and fit beautifully allowing me to tighten across my foot as well as across the instep and around the back of the heel. These feel so much rougher--not as well made-- and they look like you could tighten across the toes but it does not work. I unfortunately lost the ability to return them because I wore them, but after walking for 1/2 hour I got blisters. Now I have to start over. I may consider Merrells or Keens.

Shoe is not adjustable across the toe, there's a velcro strap that give the impression it is - but it is only for looks NOT function. Made the shoe unworkable for me since that is where I needed the adjustment.

There is not enough velcro for me to close this shoe! My feet are not that wide. Major design flaw there. Back they go. And to be honest, they are pretty ugly.

Very disappointed Clarks seems to have made the top instep strap smaller. It was too tight across my foot. My other Clarks have fit bettr.

Material not very giving, felt like if I were to wear these for a long time they would rub my foot and I would end up with blister on top of blister.

Wow, where to begin? I have both a high arches and wide toe bed and the shoe company that I have always depended on to find good quality shoes with a great fit was Clarks. More specifically, this sandal style ALWAYS fit me. (FYI, I have one more new pair from two years ago in my closet, in brown, because I loved them so much). I bought a new pair this year because my last pair of this sandal in black was wearing out. I've also been buying this specific sandal from Clarks for about 5 years and this would have been my 6th pair of the same sandal style from Clarks. The reason this sandal no longer fit me because the ankle strap that is supposed to velcro over on top of my foot and connect to the other piece of velco on the other side the shoe was too short! I couldn't secure the strap over my high arched foot to keep the sandal securely on my foot. Thinking something was off with this new pair, I took out my old pair of sandals in this exact same style and measured the strap and noticed that the strap on the old pair was TWO INCHES LONGER than the new PAIR! (The old pair had a 6 inch ankle strap instead of 4 inch strap with the new pair.) Based on the cheapening of this shoe brand (the second time this has happened in a year with Clark shoes) I'm just about to give up on this brand. This is the 2nd pair of Clarks shoes I've bought that were seemingly identical to a previous pair but Clarks did something to cut costs, like narrowing the toe bed, shortening the strap across the ankle, making cheap buckles (the buckles on this shoe are also thinner and no longer made out of silver metal), and/or have slippery soles. I'm returning these and will have to find another shoemaker that makes wide toed shoes for women with high arches because my 'go to' brand, Clarks no longer fits because they've reduced the quality in their shoes.
