The front strap isn’t functional so the shoe can’t be adjusted. Doesn’t work on a foot with a bunion. Would have been ideal. Too bad.

I really like these sandals. The Velcro strap over the top of my foot is long enough to adjust if my foot is swollen due to hot weather. Between the Velcro at the heel and the toes, it is easy to adjust the shoe to fit your foot. Very comfortable as soon as I put it no. No break-in period necessary. Highly recommend.

The shoe is cute, nice, very sturdy and the soles look supportive. I love the look. However the shoe is not wide width, it's very narrow, i couldn't fit my foot in the shoe. The toe part is not adjustable, the only part that is is around the ankle.

I love these shoes! I first bought the navy blue ones and could not believe how incredibly comfortable they are. I have mild osteoarthritis in both knees and I don't even feel it when I wear these which is why I also bought the black pair. I can literally wear them all day.

This shoes are so comfortable and good-looking. I wanted to keep them because they seemed perfect and I need a sandal that will be substantial and wearable for a trip where there is a lot of walking. Unfortunately, my right foot is still mending from an injury and my right arch needs some type of stabilization and most of the sandals, including Saylie Jade, do not offer a strap on the instep side. I was so sad to return these sandals.

Clarks are my go to shoe - I have been wearing them since I was a child living in the UK (now 60+). I have watched their growth in the USA and been a regular purchaser since they came into this market. Sadly (like so many companies) their sizing/styles are not what they used to be. I have been wearing this style of Clark's athletic sandel for several years. Each year it gets tweaked a bit and for the most part I have been able to keep buying (normally two of different colors each year). Sadly this Saylie Jade is just not right. I wear a Wide. There are two narrow across the toes (due to it being solid fabric - the velcro tab gives a little adjustment but not much, more to tighten I would say). Then the straps at the ankle are not positioned correctly for me. As I type this I am wearing a pair of Clarks athletic sandels from last year - the cross/ankle strap sits under the ankles and more across the top of my foot. The straps on the Saylie Jade came up OVER the top of each ankle bone and wrapped round my ankle a good inch higher. This is uncomfortable as I walk. And as my feet/ankles tend to swell I know this will become uncomfortable as the day goes on. Also, for a wide sandel the velcro strap is very short. If I were to need to slacken it to allow for swelling I would be hard pressed to have enough velcro for it to close. Sadly these are going back.

The strap over the instep is a little short. It is just long enough for the velcro to attach.

They are very comfortable and feels like I am walking on air.

I have worn this same sandal for years so I ordered another pair as they are very comfortable.

They fit perfectly and are very comfortable, especially when doing a lot of walking. I highly recommend them.

I really love Clarks shoes for their comfort. These sandals also pretty comfortable and nice-looking. The only thing: my size is 7.5, but Clarks I always take 6.5 and they fit well.

I have a high instep and the strap that comes over the instep could be about 1 1/2" longer.( it still grips the velcro, but would look better if it was longer) The front of these are not adjustable and is a tad snug but not to the point that I have to return them. I love the style so I bought three pairs in different colors!

These are great sandals and very nice looking. Foot bed is nice and cushy which makes a day-long wearing very comfortable. The only thing that could be improved is to make the strap over the toes more flexible because the strap doesn't come totally off like the other two straps. I would like this strap to loosen more but I'm hoping that since it's leather, over time it may happen on its own.

This sandal actually looks good on the foot (for this type of sandal). The side strap has a slimming effect, so if you have big feet like me, it makes them look smaller. This sandal did not work for me though, because there was not enough arch support. The foot bed is squishy and comfortable but it was so squishy that it invited my foot to pronate. I also felt like that there was a distinct possibility of turning my ankle. If you do not pronate, these might be a good sandal for you.

I have a pair of Clark Cloudsteppers which are very comfortable. I tried this style to have a pair of supportive sandals which looked less athletic; they are attractive, rather like an open-toed Mary Jane. However, Saylie Jade did not work for me. It is not nearly as cushioned as the Cloudsteppers--still not too hard. What didn't work is the higher heel. For some reason this feature in any shoe throws my back off which means I need an almost flat sole.

My question is: What happened to Clark's quality? I have something similar to this that I bought 4 years ago. The fit was better and was wider. It's not the prettiest shoe, however it served it purpose. The newer version is even more cheaply made, narrower and instead of a metal buckle it has plastic buckles now. The overall fit and quality of the shoe was disappointing. I am very disappointed in the quality of Clarks shoes.

This shoe was super comfortable from the first wearing. The footpad is walkable all day, and the strap adjustment is long enough for almost any foot. With the open toe, I had no trouble with the size.

I'm thanking my lucky stars that this sort of athletic sandal unexpectedly came back into vogue recently--since I hadn't owned/worn this type for at least a decade--because holy cow, are these things comfy! I purchased these before a trip to Europe, where I'd be walking on a lot of uneven terrain and doing a lot of sightseeing and adventuring. Happily, they were PERFECT: supportive, well-cushioned, and "stylish". As for fit, they probably run a bit to the narrow side, as my feet are a little narrow, and very low-volume (bony, in other words), and these--with their multiple adjustments--could be made to fit my feet like they were made for them. I couldn't be more pleased, and highly recommend 'em!

These sandals were heavenly comfort right out of the box! I planned to wear them for just a little while. What a great surprise, as I took them off when going to bed, I had worn them the whole day! I have a very difficult time finding comfortable shoes and these fit the bill, beautifully. Thank you Zappos for putting them on sale. I'll buy more.

Cute, comfortable foot bed. Way too narrow for my arch and sometimes mildly fluid retaining feet, at the ankle strap. This strap barely meets the velcro, much less overlap for a nice look and renders it too tight. If you have narrow, boney feet, it will probably work fine.

This is my 2nd pair of this shoe. I have foot problems and finding a shoe that is heavenly, right out of the box, is a joy! This is a remake of the Clark's Morse Tour which I've worn for years. This shoe actually is more supportive, and has a better arch support. I expect to order another pair or 2. When you find a goodie, grab many!

This is a well made, attractive shoe that is similar to a style Clark's made several years ago. The ankle, heel and toe straps are all Velcro adjustable. The insole is padded and suede-like which is quite comfortable. That being said the arch and innersole just didn't line up well with my foot. The older model was a great fit on me. I gave this shoe 5 stars even though I returned it because it's a nice shoe that will fit well for a lot of people.
