Thinking I need stability, I was keen to try this shoe. Unfortunately, the fit was not right and I could not get over how HEAVY the shoe was. I'm usually a 9.5 wide but this shoe fell off the back of my heel - toe box had plenty of room, which was nice but the weight is the primary reason for not finding this shoe comfortable on my foot. I've given up on the "stability" style now and am trying other NB's (and reading the specs to check the weight of the shoe!) to see if I can find my perfect fit.

I've worn the 1340v2's for years and since they're not available, I ordered these. Huge disappointment. They squeak when I walk. No bueno!

I liked the color but the top around the ankle was uncomfortable. They also seemed small and i didn't like the heaviness of it. I have high arches and wide possibly even exta wide feet. I just started wearing wides so I can't say anything specific, I will say that it is nice that they offer extra wide , Asics doesn't .

Version 3 of the 1340 does not fit right. The toe box is too tight and rubs on the bunions on my feet. Buying the extra wide shoe is not an option for then I lose the rest of the shoe is loose and hence does not provide the support I need. I used to purchase version 2 of this model and it works amazing. I have one pair of 1340 version 2 left and have no alternative types of tennis shoes that work for my feet. I need more of the 1340 version 2 shoes!

I usually wear 9 WW in New Balance and 9 was short and tight. 9 1/2 was too long. Loved the cushioning and style but had to return both pairs.

Bought these shoes 3 months ago, the sole is seperating from the bottom of the shoe. The comfort level doesn't last too long, I do switch between different shoes to allow for "rebound", so they are not worn on a daily basis. I figure they wouldn't have lasted this long had I been wearing them daily. Really disappointed in this New Balance shoe.

This shoe was oddly sized, meaning that it was tight in the instep and heel and very tight in the toe box. They also don't offer a lot of support or cushioning. I have the V2 and love them and was hoping that the V3 would meet or maybe even surpass its predesessor...it did not.

Very uncomfortable. I have never had a pair of New Balance that I didn't like until now. After only wearing them for 30 minutes, my feet start hurting. Very disappointed in this shoe. There also doesn't seem to be an option for anything similar to what I've purchased in the past to go back to.

I found the toe area of this shoe to be extremely tight, so much so that I could see each of my toes pushed against the fabric. In addition, even though I've been wearing the same size New Balance shoes for years and years, the inward slant of the heel causes your foot to push forward, so I would suggest ordering a 1/2 size up. Please bring back the 1260s.

The shoes literally injured my feet. And I couldn't get anyone to respond to my emails for weeks. I've been wearing NB for years and these were just plain poorly made and defective. Imagine my fury when, after weeks of waiting for a customer service responses, the response was basically "we are busy. Pack them up, drive them to a ups store, send them back and we will credit your card at some point". Thanks NB, for making this pandemic a little more stressful by helping to hurt my feet and then give me a lengthy and annoying way to return defective shoes. Horrible customer service, horrible pair of shoes, just horrible in general.

Put these ones on and ended up with a sore second toe on the left foot and a sore ankle on the right foot as they are cut weird and rub. First shoes ever with a bad fit.

Ankle is low and provides low or no support. Sneaker is light weight and ok in width. Spend more and get another sneaker!

I bought the shoe because of overpronation. I wanted it because the description mentions features such as the roll bar which make the shoe good for overpronation. When I tried them on they were ok. But when I actually walked in them for an extended length of time, they irritated my little toe especially, because of the construction of the shoe. The stitching over the toes rubs. I notice my other NB shoes are lined over the toes. I have always liked NB shoes for comfort and support for my overpronation. But these are awful. I am going to try moleskin or something to see if that would cushion the area as due to wearing them, I can't return them.

I ordered this shoe in 2 different sizes as there doesn't seem to be consistency between one style and another. Both fit poorly and were returned. I loved the 880 V6, but so much has changed in those that that style no longer works. I was hoping this one would be a good match but the toe box is narrow and the foam padding pushes my foot too high in the shoe.

These shoes have a hard seam that runs across the main joint of the big toe. The seams did not flex and rubbed huge blisters on both feet. I tried trimming the seam, then cutting part of the seam from the shoes. I have not been able to run in these shoes since I got them. Right now, I have cut out the entire section of the toe box that runs across that joint. I will try them a gain tomorrow.
This is very disappointing. I have used NewBalance ever since I started running 20 years ago and have never had an issue.

I have more than 10 pair of NEW BALANCE and never had a problem. I recently purchased the 1340v3, the tongue of this shoe constantly moves laterally to the outer side of the shoe. It will not stay straight under the laces. I'm quite disappointed with my purchase.
