They seems to run a little big. So I have to send them back and they won't just exchange them for a smaller size. I have to return they and buy new ones. Problem is I used reward points and it was during a sale that is no longer running this week.

The heal slips right off while walking or running even when tied tight.

Bought a running shoe at podiatrist request. Had the 1269, which was a great shoe but it wore out since it's not made anymore I bought the 1340. Big mistake! I've always worn a 8b in every NB shoe I've ever had and never had a problem. This shoe is painfully tight across the top of the instep and way to tight across the toes to the pint that after 3 hours wearing the shoes my big toes go numb and become painful which spreads to the other toes. Now I thought it's just need to "broken" in however after 2 weeks of wearing them everyday still no change. Wasted money! Very disappointed and I'm going to switch brands after being a NB customer for more than 20 years.

Felt great in the store but so uncomfortable after 1 day of wear I want to get rid of them. Runs small in size, the tongue won't stay straight and s huge waste of money. I work 12 hour days on concrete and cheap shoes are 10 times more comfortable. So disappointed!!!!! Don't buy these.

I liked the shoe, but the inside rubs in a spot and I don't want a blister! :(

Bought these shoes because I have worn the version two for many years. I tried on a pair in the store then had my size shipped to my home. The shoe feels to small in the toe box very tight on my toes. The shoe is very hard and hurts my feet. I have never had a pair of new balance shoes that were so uncomfortable. I am so disappointed.

I have been running in 1340V2 for years. I bought the V3 last year and my feet have never hurt so bad. The toe box is so small I have blisters after a few miles. Tried to do a half in them and lost a couple toe nails. I am now running in an old pair of V2's because they are more comfortable than these. New Balance please bring back the V2!

I have been wearing New.Balance shoes for many years and buy a new pair about every 6 months. I have had many pairs of the 1340v2 shoes and like them. I have had the v3 shoes for 4 days and it will at least a week to heal the blisters from these shoes. No room for the toes is a mild understatement.. I bought the same size as I always but and have blisters on both little toes. They are also very tight across the tops. When I put them on in the store they felt quite comfortable hugging my foot, but after 3 miles, ouch. I have never had a blister or even a sore spot from New Balance shoes before. I am going shopping this morning for a new pair of walking shoes.

I have multiple problems with my feet and have
been wearing the 1340v2 shoes for years. These shoes work for feet because they are very cushioned and yet offer so much stability. In particular, they are excellent shoes for feet that struggle with over pronation. Moreover, the D width fits my custom orthotics well. I am very disappointed with the third version of these shoes. In version 3, the toe bar has changed in such a way that the front of the shoe is both "tougher" on the toes and also narrower. At the same time, the heel area has expanded. I am unable to wear the New Balance 1340v3 shoes. Given that the 1340 shoe is only one of two shoes that my feet can tolerate, I am requesting that New Balance bring back the 1340v2 shoes.
