Terrible replacement of previous 1340v2. Overall more narrow, tight toe bed, slips off heel, no longer tall enough to comfortably cover top of foot. (I have a high instep) does not feel as cushiony as 1340v2 either. Really disappointed. Returning these.

I usually buy the 900 series walking shoe, but couldn't pass up the savings on this style. I usually buy white, but beggars can't be choosers, right? The shoe fits as ordered (as with every New Balance shoe I have ever ordered in the past). The support is great as a running shoe, especially those long outings going from the couch to the fridge during those 30 second timeouts!!! The shoe also allows me to make those Heisman Trophy type running back cuts between the couch and love seat so I can get to the finish line (couch or fridge) in record time. I don't want to brag, but I did set a new PR the other day wearing these shoes!!! I know, I'm just like you, hate to read people bragging about such successes, but I couldn't resist!! I highly recommend these shoes to anyone who is as active as I am in need that superior NB support that this shoe offers!!!

The shoes were very comfortable right out of the box. Fit was perfect. There was no irritation or rubbing during the break in period.

I have purchased an iteration of this shoe for many years starting back with the 1040’s. The shoe has changed some over the years but is still a basic stability shoe. They work for my low arches and pronation though I do wear an orthotic due to having Morton’s neuromas in both feet. I have been afraid to even try a different shoe because these work well and keep my knees and hips pain free. The only cons I have is the lack of color options (your choice is white/blue or black which are pretty boring) and the fact, that for me the soles on the outside of my heels wear totally out at around 300 miles. (I run primarily on asphalt roads and concrete sidewalks.) I bought a black pair last year and they made it 323 miles then I went with a white/blue pair and they only made it 273 miles. The black pair seemed last longer and probably still had a few miles on them but I hated the black color. It has to do with the way I run and heel strike but at $150 a pair I go through 3 pair a year, so it gets expensive. Don’t know if any other shoe would last longer. The 1340v3 does have a fairly roomy toe box which I also need because of the neuroma’s.

I'm 65-years-old and have been active my entire life. So my feet have seen a lot of miles, and I need something with both support and comfort, something that supports my not so good arches and cushions my worn out knees while giving me the confidence to move a little faster than I would with a lesser shoe. I recommend these shoes.

I recently bought the black shoe of the same style from New Balance. Really comfortable and accommodating of my orthotics and my wide width. Some NB styles say they are extra wide, but they most certainly are not!! I’ve found this to be true for their hiking boots. Definitely not wide enough and my baby toes are always in such pain after wearing them even for a short time. Fortunately, This one was. Very stylish with shorts. Plus, they happened to be on sale, so it was an added bonus for me!! You won’t be disappointed with these.

Really comfortable shoe. I have very wide feet and I need more of a box toe type of shoe, plus I have orthotics. They fit perfectly the second I put my foot inside of them. There is no break-in period and with any good shoe, there shouldn’t be. I plan on buying another pair. You should too!

Bought these for my son who is problems with his feet. plantar fascititis...Well he has been wearing these for a week now and he no longer has a any pain, no limping..will buy again. 5 Stars

Ordered these for my husband, great style & fit. Removable insole to accommodate an orthotic still a good fit. Will order again.

Wish they came in more colors. I've been wearing these for 5 years. This is the newer version, but they still wear great. I had no issue with needing a wider width than I did in the previous version.

I have really enjoyed these shoes. Plenty of support and cushioning. They are a little heavy in the sole but the support far out ways this concern.
