I walk all day on solid concrete floors, these boots are a god send. I've gone though 3 other brands looking for something that didn't feel like I was walking around in cinder blocks. These are very comfortable and nimble on my feet. My shin and ankle pain from my old foot ware went away after a few days in these. It is a process to put them on and off, but not really much more than any good well laced boot, I will be buying another pair as soon as mine ware out. Think "light weight sneaker work boot glove"

Bought these boots, came in tried them on, a little to big. After sending the boots back they quickly sent replacements. After wearing them for a couple days. These are the best boots ive ever worn. simply amazing experince with this company. US gov. should have a contract with Merrell

Outstanding quality. Once I put it on, I realized these boots are the real deal. Going on a Photo Safari in Africa, these boots will be my go to equipment. As usual, Merrell 2.8 Tactical boot is a must for quality and reliability on variegated terrain, near or far.

Best EMS boot ever! Comfortable, good looking and waterproof!

This is by far the most comfortable and supportive boot I have ever owned. It is versatile enough to go from the office to deep into snowy woods with microspikes. I'm hoping for a more breathable version for the summer.

I have been a long time fan of the Moab II mid waterproof. Now that there is a full boot as in the tactical it is so much better. They are light, breathable and very comfortable. I have only had them for a month and have hike maybe a dozen times with them. Great to this point! I usually wear out the moab II mid in six months of everyday heavy use. I will be doing the same with these come this spring so I hope that the tactical willlast longer but regardless they are my new favorite!

These boots have me at a lose for words. Most comfortable boot/shoe I have ever worn. They make me feel like a gazzel and so agile. I can tip toe in them and they are silent even when flat footed

I have owned a few pairs of these over the years. I bought a pair for myself and my husbands for Christmas. They are so comfortable, like wearing a sneaker.

These are the most comfortable boots my feet have ever had the pleasure of wearing. I literally wear them all the time every where. They have been to work, on the range, hiking and my feet feel great. Highly recommend so much I even purchased a pair for my wife and she loves wearing them as much as I do.

Christmas gift for my son. These are the only shoes he will wear because of the work that he is in. The shoes are so popular that his wife bought him a pair (steel toe) also for Christmas. Neither one of us knew we were buying shoes for him.

Great boot for patrol use. This is my third pair and I typically get about 1.5 years of street use out of them, before I regulate them to traffic duty.

Not sure what these other jokers are talking about i hike for my job 5 days a week 40+ hours a week through thick brush in southwest USA. Let me start off by saying these boots are the most comfortable shoes out of the box I've ever owned. I've had them for over a year now and there as good as the day I got them

Excellent fit and initially thought they were to high but the last snow storm proved that theory wrong..

Light and comfortable. Great boot for walking around in the woods.

Normally I don't write about products. This time I take the time because I have torn deltoid ligaments on the left ankle. To walk normally Its either a brace, orthotics and supportive shoes or surgery. Braces make the foot swell. Ergo, I found a great ankle supportive boot (with orthotic) which allows me to resume short hikes. I use Merrell brand because of superb fit and high quality in size 14. Obvioulsly these are not my only pair of Merrell shoes. My orthopedist wears Merrell shoes when he is in surgery.

I'm in love with these boots! I have very wide feet and a high arch, finding boots that give my toes enough room to spread can be very challenging. These boots are it for me!! They're so comfortable and roomy enough while still feeling super secure and "tucked in". They're also *very* lightweight for a work boot. Will definitely be repurchasing (please keep making these Merrell haha!) and recommending to others.

Very comfortable. Almost no break in time for me. I loosened the laces and the felt great. I wear a 9.5W and these are very comfortable. I work as a corrections officer so all that's left is to see how long they last. But i would buy them again

Boots fit as expected and were comfortable from the first 5km walk.

The boots were an excellent fit. True to size. I began wearing them straight out of the box and out in the field. The comfort level of these boots is beyond what I expected. At times I forget I even have boots on my feet. Great boots. Would recommend the boots to anyone who work on their feet for extended period of time. Best pair of boots I've ever had on patrol. I wish I had gone with Merrell long before I got these pair of boots.

I've only had these for a few months and absolutely love them. They are very comfortable and didn't even seem to have a break in period. I would absolutely recommend them!

I really like the quality of this boot and use them when we go up and cut wood, hike, or play in the snow. The only thing I changed was the insole insert. Theirs was a bit stiff and not enough cushion for me.
