These not only look good, but they are light-weight and don't tire you out wearing them all day. I have not had the chance to test if they are waterproof, but they were comfortable right out of the box and hug my feet securely.

Wear these boots daily in multiple environments, ranging from shoot house to matrooms for dynamic training and then back to the office. Great support and very comfortable boot for long wear

Fit perfectly and comfortably, right out of the box. I'm a size 9 1/2, medium width. I purchased a size 10; there was enough room for a thick pair of wool socks.

Just received my first pair of Merrell Moab 2 8" Tach boots. These boots are awesome, I've owned Bates, Magnums, Oakley, Under Armour & Nike. The Merrell's are light and more comfortable than the ones listed. Plus, It's a great looking boot !

I wear these for 12 hours a day working on the ambulance, and these boots are amazingly comfortable! After 4 months of use they are still in great condition too.

I wanted to take the boots through a few Search and Rescue missions before I wrote a review. The verdict is in. These have to be the best boots I have ever bought. They provide the best ankle support and by far bring the most comfort for long hours. I was greatly surprised by how warm and dry these boots kept my feet throughout the cold and wet waters. When I witness a good product, I pass it along. My entire SAR team is now proud owners of Merrill Boots! Thank you for selling what you advertise.

I have a semi hard time finding this type of boot in wide, I wear Merrell shoes as my go to footwear for daily use and decided to try this out. I wear them 12hrs at a time for my shift, and these are pretty comfortable. I have E width feet and these feel a little too wide at the bottom but that's fine I just tighten up the laces. The only complaint I have is that the velcro cover for the zipper on one of my boots is slightly crooked so it comes snags on the inside of my pants sometimes because some of the loop is loose. Grip has been good so far, we will see if it still does well when the snow hits. My other boots are lowas and danners which cost significantly more, these are nice cost effective alternative.

Only boot i will ever buy again. My job literally destroys footwear. In and out of trucks al day, concrete floors and pavement....
These boots are a year old, and barely show any wear. Highly recommended!!!

I bought these boots in tan in may of 2019. I went camping and hiking in New York state in the mountains. They are the most comfortable things I have ever had on my feet. Very light, waterproof, extra support for your ankles and you won't remember there on your feet. I wear a long sock and have no issue with the boots. I got real into hiking around 2017-2018 and I have bad experiences with flat foot shoes and general sneakers. These boots have amazing support and are very comfortable. I almost hurt myself hiking in normal sneakers a few times and these boots help support my foot and I feel a lot safer. Hiking a trail to hiking to the side of a mountain, these things seen a lot of different terrain and i wouldn't wear anything else when going outdoor for hikes!

Excellent boot! Well constructed and comfortable. It feels like I'm wearing sneakers. My only complaint is that they are thick. I know they're waterproof, and they will suit me well in the Colorado winters, just wish there was a summer version. Same everything, but thinner material.

I have wide, high-volume feet. Depending on the manufacturer, I need a: Wide, Extra-Wide, E, EE, EEE, Etc. I usually wear Clarks, Skechers, New Balance and similar in shoes. For hiking, I found the Merrell Moab a few years back. One of the only hiking boots I've found where the wide is TRULY WIDE. I work in law enforcement and have had to be picky with my boots. Hi-Tech, 5.11, First Tactical all make decently wide boots. But these guys are amazing! I just opened them and tried them on.....it's like they're already broken in. Plenty of width on the foot bed, plenty of room for foot volume, soft and comfy, great ankle support.
Time will tell on durability, but I've never had any complaints about my Moab hiking boots. I know this sole from prior boots, it's plenty grippy and lasts decently.
If you're one of those...."Yeah, but is it really wide?" kind of folks like me, I think these will work for you.

Super comfortable and durable. I'm on my feet actively daily and these are clearly the best boot for the job. The laces hold up and the sole hasn't worn out. I have a 14 wide in tennis shoes and these are just wide enough that I don't have to order them that way. Additionally, they still look good with a uniform and to be waterproof they breath very well.

These boots have been amazing for working in NE Washington during the fall and winter months, very comfortable while still keeping my feet dry and preventing slippage. Have nothing bad to say about these boots except they run noticably long, can visually tell the difference between a size 11W of these and size 11W of the Moab hikers so maybe go half to full size down.
