After one year of use, these are comfortable shoes for the price but barely lasted a year the stitching came apart on the toe box and inner crease part. The waterproof isn't really waterproof more like water resistant.

I bought these and found em to be very comfortable out of the box. Great arch support. I did find them to be hot and not very breathable. This was fine, I sidelined them after 6 weeks and use em in the fall. I never got to using them till this June. After putting em back to use I noticed the vertical stitching at the height of the arch on the inside of the foot failed. The stitching came loose on the left foot and the right is doing the same thing. Granted I understand the boots are close to a year and a half old, but in actual use they were only 4 months old. Bummer I really liked em but over all I'm disappointed.

I will keep it short, I absolutely love the boot. It's by far one of the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. The only issue I have with it is the sole. It has fallen apart, within a year.

I like these boots overall but have had a couple issues with them. The inner toe of the left boot has started to (wad up) causing some discomfort and the rubber outer toe on the right boot has torn at the stiches. Will be sending them back today for a new part. I'm hoping to have better luck with the new pair as I'm a Merrell customer for over 20 years and have had very little issues with their products as a whole.

Ideal fit and very comfortable. Great traction that seemed to get better with use. Unfortunately the boot literally began coming undone within DAYS. Seems coming undone and outsole falling apart. Excellent design poorly executed. Now I have to buy new boots 2 months later...

Fit is good, size is correct, feels comfortable, looks nice, but the lacing system makes it hard to get on and off. Put on a decent quality boot sock and it's a wrestling match to get on and/or off. I may have to return and try something different.

I bought these about three months ago or less. Had to cut the edge of the inside pads down on the inside arches because the where rubbing the inside of my arches and causing blisters. Once is cut the pad down a bit it was no longer an issue. But the soles already look like I had them a year. They are wearing out very quickly. I bought these because I have a pair of hiking boots by Merrill that are extremely comfortable all day long, these work boots are not near as comfy.

Merrell boots When it comes to comfort I haven't found a work boot that compeers for the price. After buying a much more expensive brand and not having comfort, I thought all work boots were just uncomfortable. Then I found these boots. Comfort is worth every penny. I'm in my feet all day, 10-12 or more hours a day, and these are the boots I wear. So comfortable in fact, I bought the same boots for a second time. My only complaint is that they only lasted about six months before they wore out as you can see in the picture attached. I am very hard on my feet and comfort means everything so I will continue to buy these boots.

Loved these boots through summer and winter, very comfortable and dry. Unfortunately my first pair split at the seams on the big toe side of the boots less then 2 months after purchasing(same thing happened to my coworker's who bought them at the same time I did) I exchanged them for another pair under the warranty and now, 6 months later, this pair is doing the same thing. Unfortunately they are no longer under warranty so I will probably look for a different brand to purchase.

Ler me first start by saying comfort wise these are great boots, durability is excellent, the negative issue is the claim of waterproof. I use these boots hiking everyday with my dog and they did stay waterproof for about a month after that my feet got wet all the time especially in the morning with the dew in the fields my feet we be totally soaked when we got back, even small creek crossings they leaked, the same thing happened with my Moab 2 dry series I bought last summer they didn't keep my feet dry either. Bottom line is if your gonna claim waterproof better make them truly waterproof because wet feet suck.

I have used these boots for just over a year. At the end of the first winter season the rubber toe cover and the stitching started coming apart. They seemed waterproof for a little while but don't perform very well now. They are also horrible on ice or any slippery surface, the hard heel doesn't provide and traction at all.

I've owned these boots for about four and a half months, but have only wore them for about two months. I live in Minnesota and did not start wearing them till it warmed up. These boots are light and comfortable but have not held up well. After about a month of use the toe protector started peeling off. Now the stitching on the side has come apart. The boots were waterproof for about a month, but now they're far from it. They will soon be in the garbage. My boots usually only last me about a year, but I have never had a pair fall apart this fast.

They don't grip on ice or snow well at all and the double stitched rubber on the toe has torn off on the original and then the replacement pair after less than eight weeks. Big fan of Merrell footwear in general. They're the only boots that make it over a year on the job but these just don't hold up.

I purchased these boot last year as they were supposed to be top of the line and good for people with foot issues. The boot were great for the first couple of weeks and then they started coming apart and the support started breaking down. Stitching started coming apart on the toe cap after about two weeks of purchase and then a week or so after that the rubber top cap started coming off. Very poor craftsmanship. I am a project manager so I walk a lot but am not very hard on the shoes. After about 2 month the shoes wear uncomfortable to wear for more than a few hours. Ended up gong back to a old pair of Twisted X until I could get a new pair of work shoe through the company shoe assistance program. Spent half the money on Ariat's that are holding up way better than the Merrell did from day one. Don't waste your money on this shoe. It's the Chrysler of shoes. Unreliable junk.

I have an issue with these shoes that I have received. I do not wear these shoes for work and or hiking and or any work use what so ever. In fact I use them strictly for casual use dress wear, "For The Look" Going out to dinner, the store etc. I have another pair of shoes I use for work wear. With that being said, these shoes still blew out. The stitching has come undone on the toe pad which now has exposed the inner lining, and are now rendered useless, the way the are. Past that, I loved the shoe, but, for the limited use, as these have gotten, I am shocked they blew apart. :( Thank You

Find it hard to believe it's so difficult to make two boots fit the same way on my two opposite identical feet . One rubs sore spots on my foot while the other fits perfect, For what they cost I would expect a better consistent fit

This boot is very comfortable, plenty of support, but the exterior stitching has busted open. Received a replacement pair after 4 months. The replacement pair has done the same thing after 5 months; as well as the soles falling apart. I love Merrell footwear, but I will never purchase this particular boot again.

Fit great! Comfortable! On the other hand, the first pair started to fall apart inside of a month. It took 4 months to get them replaced. The replacement pair is falling apart in less than a year. Sole coming apart at the toes, sole separation, etc. The bottoms of the soles wore through to the padding in about 5 months. As an Hvac controls tech, i spend about half my time in an office enviroment, and half on construction sites, they did Not hold up to this environment! I will be going back to my previous brand for a fewcdollars mor, an a couple years more life.

Comfortable well fit boot as per expectations, waterproof, not for hard surfaces. After 3 month daily wear on Civil construction sites, quarries and railway ballast the soft soles cannot stand up to any harsh terrain splitting and breaking off in chunks all around the tread. Shame as the boots are expensive and otherwise of good make and fitment.

First time trying a merrel product. Was pleased with the overall fit and comfort! However, after 4 months of wearing them, the inside liner is coming unsewn as well as the outer side seams. No longer waterproof. Also, the seams at the toe are coming apart as well. Definetly was a let down, wishing i would never have changed brands.

I love the brand, although I was extremely disappointed by these work boots. I am hard on my boots, but I expect them to make it more than a mont weeks before the toe starts peeling off and the leather pops at the seams. They do however keep your feet very warm and dry, but the damage does allow some water to penetrate the boot. Also they are too short for arbor work when wearing spikes, but that is personal preference.

Pros: - comfortable - warm Cons: - expensive for what they are - hard to get on - break down very quickly These were purchased on 10/28/18 at a local store. They looked good and seamed sturdy at first. However, it is now 2/17/19 and they are done. Soles held up fine as I tend to wear out the outside edge of the heal due to my walk. But, the stitching on the toe has fallen apart and they are no longer waterproof. Plus, I'm tired of having to use a pliers to get them on in the morning by grabbing the shaft behind my heal and pulling. And yes, I did get the wide. I've had boots that were 1/4 the price that lasted 4 times longer. Needless to say, I won't be buying these again.

While at first I loved these boots, they did not withstand six months of use and are falling apart at a year old. Specifically having problems with the stitching and piping of the toe cap which have fallen apart and are exposing the inner layers of the boot. The arch seam on one boot has also come apart exposing inner layers. For the high price I expected a better built product. Might be my last Merrell work boot I rely on for daily use.

Sizing is as expected. Boots are very comfortable with virtually no break in period but they are not at all waterproof.
