I love this bag. It's very stylish and durable. I wasnt too sure about the size at first but definitely a good choice. When I traveled I packed everything in a hiking backpack and needed something a little more stylish and modern than can do both. I dont know if I'd recommend for long treks or hikes in the woods though, the shoulder straps feel like they would dig in and no waist band to allow to hold the weight. I mainly use it for family travels to the hotel. I purchased the Small and it holds alot. ONLY thing I would change on the bag is to add a zipper to the front as well, I love having smaller pockets on the bags.

The camo design and the material of the bag is awesome. The only thing the bag is missing is one shoulder strap that connects on both sides of the bag... I was about to return the bag because of this however I started looking for alternative bags and could not find one that came close to the look/design of this one. So I decided to keep it and use the two thick straps that are meant to be carried as a backpack as a shoulder strap instead.

Just finished using this on a 5 day/4 night road trip. I was able to get enough clothes in it for the trip (a mixture of short sleeves and long sleeves and shorts and long pants). I had enough room to pack more than what I needed. I used two packing cubes from another company and the one that came with it. I also had enough room to get TNF base camp travel canister in it too. I debated about putting a hoodie in the bag, but that might have been too much. It was warm enough on this trip to only need a long sleeve t-shirt. Good size bag for a short trip. If I had to bring either an extra pair of shoes or more than one jacket/hoodie I might go for a bigger bag. The main thing I appreciate about the size is that it fits behind my drivers seat without issue and should fit in overhead bins on airplanes without issue.

Great solid bag. Surprisingly holds much more than you think if you use packing cubes. Wish there was a shoulder strap to ease the stress off your back sometimes.

I just wish this had a standard top handle like the larger size. Pink salt color is amazing. Will last forever.

Needs a duffle strap. It can get uncomfortable on your back after a while. It would be awesome to move it over to a duffle at that point. You can't carry it like a duffle otherwise. Great bag otherwise.

I use this alll the time and keep it in my car. The one issue i have is that the bag doesn't come with a shoulder strap or hand straps and sometimes you look a little goofy carrying as a backpack.

This is a great duffel bag, and I now own 3 of them. Very durable, tough zippers and large capacity. In truth I wanted to buy the XXL but the new handle design (only has shoulder straps) was a dealbreaker. I would prefer the larger capacity of an XXL but absent that, this is a very good bag. Really like the light blue on dark blue, as I already had an all black bag.

It's a bit stiff but I believe if I keep using it, it may loosen up

This thing is nearly perfect for everyone, except for my use-case. The build quality is excellent, the color options and capacity are great. TNF always uses the best zippers and pockets/storage were great. My only gripe is the lack of a traditional shoulder carry option. I don't personally like wearing my duffel bag as a backpack (things shift that way), so not having that option was a deal-breaker for me. Otherwise the bag would've been perfect for a long weekend or camping trip. With that being said, I would still recommend this bag to anyone who is cool with wearing it as a backpack.

This is a decent sized duffel and Iran actually very roomy even though it's a "Small". I'm using this on a weeklong trip to Italy and I have more than enough room for my shorts, tops, sweaters a jacket and a pair of shoes plus under garments!!!!

I bought this for my daughter to use as a carry on for a spring break vacation. I was concerned it wouldn't be large enough but it's great. Caveat she is a size xs in clothing so her pants roll to the size of a pair of my socks. I have a medium have traveled with it and they carry fantastically. Given the small capacity I would probably use a less burley material. Seems a bit overkill. But if you need a super tough small bag look no further. She easily fit 7 days worth of clothes into it and loves the look and design.

This is great as a co angler to put all my fishing boxes into. Instead of bringing some of this and that in a smaller tackle bag I can now bring my full arsenal. This is the definition of legit!

I loved the compact size of the bag and how it is good for weekend travels. It is also good as a second carry on and can fit a lot of items. The only complaint I have is the inability to carry it other ways such as the shoulder or in your hand. The old model had handles to accommodate this.

I needed a bag that that will be fine in the back of a truck in the rain. Now this is my everyday travel bag. This bag is great as a carry on and just as good strapped to a paddle board

Awesome bag. I love the face pocket that is not present in my older models. The only drawback compared to my older duffels is the lack of strap adjustability. The webbing does not lengthen enough for a comfortable over the shoulder carry.

I use this bag everyday for work school and gym. It carries my belongings, is waterproof and easy to carry. If I had to add anything, it would be a shoulder strap.

Is a great bag but I wish the small size came with a hand handle or cross shoulder strap. So it can be use as a duffel and not just a backpack. Or at least ones that are sold separately. I'm 5'3 and the small is really bulky on my back. But other than that is great quality bag .

My husband and I are currently in Turkey and both packed our Base Camp Duffel bags for our 12-day trip. I used the small size and was able to fit everything I needed. The best part is that it works as a carry-on! The backpack straps are very functional, but unfortunately, my least favorite part. As I was running the straps through the plastic connectors, I was having a hard time with the right side. Turns out, it was sewn on upside down. The straps slip through the bottom connectors easily, making it difficult to adjust the strap size in a pinch. Other than the backpack straps, there is no other functional handle on the top of the duffel bag, making you use it as a backpack only. The medium size that my husband uses cannot be used as a carry-on, but does have the backpack straps and a handle. All in all, this is a great product and we've really enjoyed using our bags so far! Can't wait to see what other trips these bags join us on!

I love the bag. Not too big and not too small. Fits in the over head bin. It needs the two long straps that come together as one so you can carry it with one hand. I love that you can use it as a back pack as well, just not all the time.
