These shoes are great for me! They are as comfortable for walking as athletic shoes but don't look as clunky. I have narrow feet so they are a tiny bit wide, but thick socks takes care of that. I bought them in two colors and plan to take them with me to Europe this summer.

I love these shoes! This is my second pair. I have had foot problems my entire life ( multiple foot surgeries) and these are the perfect city walking shoes. Stylish, comfortable and provide much needed arch support.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable, plenty of support and cushioning. However, the color was just not right for me and I am returning them but I will definitely be trying this brand again.

This is the third color I have ordered in the Dansko Hayes style.I wear a size 9 and ordered the EU size 40. Perfect. I have ongoing bouts with plantar fasciitis, and when I put my own orthopedic into this shoe, it is perfect. I can walk all day. The fit in the toe box is excellent. The other day, two people asked me about these shoes -- they loved the look and wanted to know where to buy them. I'm taking these with me on a trip to Europe this summer because of the comfort and the style. This one is a hit.

These felt wonderful from the moment I put them in. I love Dansko.

I usually wear a size 9M in a closed-toe shoe. This EuroSize 39 was a perfect fit. The side trim above the sole is a very pale grey, which I believe will not show dirt and scuffs as easily as other brand shoes, same style, which have this trim in a blazing white. I cannot wear shoes with sharp pointed toe--width of this shoe (M) very good, with plenty of toe room. Nice weight, not overly heavy. Lastly, this shoe does not make my foot look like I'm wearing the shoe box instead of the shoe. Overall, I am very pleased with this shoe. Will use for street-wear as well as workout class.

Wanted a non clunky sneaker. Have been dansko wearer for years. Wear a 8.5 or 39 in Danskos. Love the navy blue color of these. They are super comfy out of the box. There is enough wiggle room in my toes. I need a wide toe box, these have it. They are a cute, casual sneaker. Wouldn't run a marathon in them but perfect my casual wear.

Great shoe for good support on hard floors. Nice looking as well.

Purchased these shoes in black, loved them so much I bought another pair in Brown! I like that the insert comes out of the shoe so you can put you own othortics in.

Thank you, Dansko, for making a size 11 (41) athletic shoe that doesn't make my feet look even larger. No more clown shoes for me!

Dansko shoes work very well for my complicated feet. These shoes are sporty and I love the green color. I usually wear a size 10 so I ordered a 40 but it was way too small. I could barely get my feet into them. I am returning and ordering a 41 instead.

I like these shoes and I like Zappos. I bought a pair that didn't fit right and Customer Service made the return and replacement easy. The new pair arrived so fast! Dansko shoes work for my feet and Zappos has an excellent selection.

I just returned from a 3 week trip in Europe where I wore these shoe all the days where I was going to be walking a lot and I cannot say enough good things about how comfortable and supportive they are! I will probably buy another pair in another color because I like them that much. I got the dark gray color and it was exactly as displayed. What I like about them is that they have the support of a day hiker shoe and yet look stylish enough to wear with an array of different length pants. I have custom insoles and I was able to removed the ones that came in the shoe and insert my custom ones and they worked perfectly.

Nice looking shoes, they are so light weight the seem kind of flimsy, but I wear other dansko shoes all the time and haven't had problems with quality, so I will give these a try. They weight makes them good for travel.

First my feet love Dansko ! I’ve had bone fusion surgery due to tendon rupture and arch failure so I need exceptional support and fit !! These light weight walking shoes are perfect in every way . I measure a narrow width and these are a narrow fit even though they are listed as medium , that could be an issue with some people . But great for me ! I highly recommend these , no break in time and no need for my prescription arches !

I love Dansko shoes. These Hayes are very comfortable and look sporty without being too tennis shoe-ish. Unfortunately, I have very flat feet and I tend to get gaps around my ankle depending on the angle of the shoe opening. These shoes won't work for me, but they could be perfect for you. I'm sad to have to return them.

Love this shoe. I had to return the first pair which I had purchased in my usual size of a 40, but it was too large, ordered a half size smaller, perfect! This was my first pair of Dansko shoes, so, maybe they run a little larger...

Dansko is the brand that fits my foot needs the best . I have a fixed arch on my right foot , had bone fusion surgery and the shoes have to fit that fixed arch there’s not much forgiveness with that in mind. This particular sport shoe has an awesome fit !! Very light weight, I mean like nothing. The width is perfect, I’m a narrow usually but this medium is just right and the arch support was great right out of the box !! No breaking in time !! Walked all day in wonderful comfort, that never happens to me !! Love it !! Please make more colors and promise, don’t change a thing !!!! They fit like a glove and don’t put and pressure on any sensitive areas !!

The shoes fit perfectly, true to size. They are so light you forget you're wearing shoes. i have not tested them in wet conditions but I expect they will dry fast if they get wet. I like that they don't look like gym shoes, just sporty looking. Extremely comfortable to wear.

Lightweight, comfortable and cute.

Right out of the box comfortable. Wore them several hours the first time without any break in period. I usually wear a 9.5 or 10. Ordered the 9.5 and it fits well with plenty of room. The laces make it easy to adjust the fit to as snug as one wants. The laces are also flat and stay tied well, unlike the rounded type. The overall style looks a bit like fall or winter because of the black suede.

These shoes felt just right from the first moment I put them on. May go back to Dansko after a few years with Merrell.
