This is, perhaps, the best shoe I have ever owned! My feet are narrow, and with the laces, I can get the fit tight enough for my foot. The footbed doesn‘t feel like an orthotic, just a gym shoe, but the typical dansko support is there, beneath a little memory foam, which adds to the comfort. I have had custom orthotics in my tennis shoes for years, and they have never felt as good as these shoes. I also love that they are a little less bulky than many athletic shoes. I feel like I could even wear these with a dressier pant without it looking odd. I hope Dansko keeps making shoes like this!

I wanted shoes that I could walk in all day but didn't scream "running shoe" or "gym rat". These Dansko's fit the bill. Even my husband commented how great they looked. I wear a 10, or 10.5 in athletic shoes. I have a narrow heel, medium foot, plantar fascitis, and a bunion. The material of these cuties provides enough "give", and the wonderful Dansko support insole provides cushioning and support where needed. They will feel a bit stiffer than your gym shoes, but I think after hours of walking that will serve well. I tried the 40's and 41's. I wish there was a 40.5 - it would have been perfect. I have a half size difference between my two feet, so it's always a challenge. I opted for the 41's (US 10.5-11.0) with the addition of a lightweight Spenco insole just to take up a little slack when I wear my lightweight "no show" socks. The 40 may have been OK, but my rule is if you can feel a toe touch the end of the shoe, it will just get worse as you walk. I'm pleased that there are no pressure points at all, and this shoe passes the "toe wiggle" test. I'm a Dansko fan, and this one didn't disappoint.

Well fitting all around shoe for long day standing and walking. I have bad arches and can wear these all day without severe pain.

Very nicely made shoes and they fit in everyway except one: they were cut too high on my ankles and worried that they may form blisters on long walks. But they had the best support elsewhere of any shoe I've tried.

I usually wear a 9 - 9.5 - European size 40. But these were only available in 39, so I took the chance - they fit perfectly, which tells me they run a little big. Nice big toe box and snug enough at the ankle. They are medium green - slightly on the olive green side. They go perfectly with my rain jacket and many of my summer clothes. I've been wearing them in the house all afternoon and am about to wear them out side. will let you know more after that.

These are very nice shoes. I was looking for tennis shoes of some sort to wear out with jeans. I am 56, and my feet need to be happy nowadays, so no fuu-fuu type shoes, strictly "sensible shoes" for me. I ordered 2 pairs of tennis type shoes, and these Danskos. and I really wasn't happy with the fit or feel of the more athletic style shoes. The Danskos really feel good. They are my new wear out shoes for fall. I am wearing them today and they are nice looking, as well.

This shoe seems very well-made and of good quality. The sole is harder than a sneaker and will make a sound when you walk. These are nice everyday shoes, comfortable for anyone with a "normal" foot. However, my left foot hurt as I walked, a metatarsal problem so unfortunately, decided to return. I'd definitely recommend these for non-problematic feet.

I bought this for an upcoming trip overseas and so far it feels great and I like the style a lot, compared to other sneakers. It's slim and blends well with black pants. I don't like taking it off - it's that comfortable. I wanted a shoe that would feel comfortable for walking all day. So far so good. I bought also a second pair of shoes, the Dansko Farah, which also feels good. Feeling optimistic that these two pairs will perform well on the trip.

I finally found a shoe that is comfortable to walk in! After multiple foot surgeries and a recent knee replacement, I was struggling to find something that felt good enough that I could resume walking for exercise. After walking, and suffering, in several types of shoes made for walking and running, I decided to try these, and they are great! No orthotics needed and they are kind to my arthritis. I’m 64 years old, and didn’t want to wear “elderly nun” shoes. These are cute on my feet which is a plus. If you have problem feet, give these a try.

I wanted to love these shoes. They are lightweight but good support - but they are just too big. I tried going down a size and they were way too small. I have several other Dansko shoes in size 38 and they all fit. Too bad for this one. I'd give it five stars if it was true to size.

I loved the look of this shoe, and it had good support, but unfortunately they were rubbing on the bone on the inside of my foot, so I am returning them.

One of my favorite shoes; I have 2 pair now. I wear them primarily for dancing ~ I've had trouble for years finding shoes and/or boots that will hold up to my dancing, without leaving me with sore feet/legs. These shoes are perfect!! Highly recommend for anyone on their feet for hours at a time ~

I am a line dancer, and always looking for shoes that will keep my feet comfortable through the night, as well as give good leg support. These fit the bill perfectly! They are a good all day walking shoe also. I have two pair, and will order more as needed. They get an A+++ from me!

Lightweight. Great for bunions. Wide enough in the toe box for my large bunion but narrow enough so that my heel is not slipping out. Decent arch support. Provides some stability so ankle is not rolling around. Negatives- not the most attractive, may not look so great with dresses, skirts, or dressy attire. Due to the mesh, your toes won't be toasty warm so you'd need to wear with warm socks. The shoes is also tad long.

This is my first pair of Dansko sneakers and I love them. They are sooo comfortable and lightweight.

I have one pair of these shoes in blue and they are so great, I ordered a second pair in black. I use them primarily for line dancing, but they are a great "all day" shoe. I've looked for years for a good dance shoe, and these "fit the ticket"! I can dance on concrete without my joints and feet aching the next few days. It's nice to find shoes that fit, have good arch support, are stylish, and wear well. Thanks, Dansko!

I hated to send these back, but they were just too long for me. Otherwise, they were comfortable, supportive, and cute.

These shoes fit like a glove. I have arthritis in my knee and need comfortable shoes, these more than fit the bill. Plus! I received them in less than 24 hours. Who can do that??? Also I can where them with almost anything! Thank you Zappos??

Buying shoes is fraught and Zappos helps with this fear. These shoes are a surprise. Light weight and surprisely wide in the toe box. Easy to wear. Good cushion along the entire foot. I have a bunion on my right foot and pain from it with some shoes. And I have feet just wide enough to not match the *normal* B width in Women's shoes. These work for my feet.

Wonderfully comfortable. Sporty without looking like an athletic shoe or hiking boot. I hated to send these back, but am very picky about fit. They're a touch narrow in the forefoot for my C/D-width feet. Just enough that I could wear them, but would expect discomfort at the pinky metatarsal with lots of walking.

I really liked this shoe- it fit great and is light. But I wanted a similar style in a white/off white, so I went with a different shoe.
