When I order this duffel I wasn't sure about the color (DEPTH GREEN/VENOM YELLOW), but as soon as I saw it I felt in love with it! It is a great bag for the weekends and you can take it with you on board the plane.

This bag is incredble. The old The north face basecamp duffle was a good bag. but in this version they fixed almost everything I did not like about the first.
in this new updated version you will notice:
Smooter zipper YKK slider and pull (lack the padlock option however)
changed the spot for the carrying handle, not in the middle of your back anymore, score!
finnally another ziperred pocket!
changed the polyester strap for balistic nylon ones. will last better, and looks nicer
things I would like to see updated in the next versions:
seeled stitching, or possibility to seal the stiches with seem grip. please make flat stiching in the ends of the bag so i can put seem grip on it and transform this bag into a rain proof luggage.
water resistant zippers
fast removable shoulder straps for when I check in the bag, like clips.
paracorp zipper pull instead of those plastic bit at the end, which breaks the week you get the bag.

I ordered this bag for my 2-week honeymoon in Costa Rica and it was perfect. Was durable through checking and really easy to pack and carry around from all our destinations and held up great!

I love the size & color of this bag! I got the yellow one. My big complaint though are the straps are too short to carry the bag as a shoulder bag or cross body. I had to carry on the shoulder but still hold it with my hands because the bag kept slipping off my shoulders. I haven't tried it as a back pack but I doubt I will because I have a Jester that I use a personal item. This bag is my carry on

I bought this duffel for dual use, for carrying my gear to and from the pool and for weekend camping trips. I'm a wheelchair user and it fits perfectly on the back of my chair. This bag feels like it will last forever and is a great size. I would have given it five stars but the zippers are extremely stiff.

This would have been close to perfect if they had added the dedicated handles (as seen on the Large version). As it is, you can ONLY carry it as a backpack (using the shoulder straps).

The color is a stark white and honestly felt a bit too small. Highly recommend the bag for the sturdy construction though.

Super heavy duty bag, nice and slick, perfect for a "3 day bag" can't wait to put it to use! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a smaller/ durable duffle bag :)

Bag is great and color gets lots of attention. Easy to carry with back straps and no need to worry about liquids causing any issues. However it's definitely small and might be a bit tight for a weekend trip. Probably best for a gym bag or day bag.

Purchased this for long Epic Ski/Mountain trips. Perfect for the occasion. I can fit everything in one bag with smaller compartment/bags inside.

The backpack aspect is a bit awkward/difficult to wear if bag is packed fully. Single shoulder strap is not easily configured (makeshift diagonal use of single backpack strap requires re-inserting into opposite buckle, but it works in a pinch) But this is a great, durable, roomy duffle.

Bag feels really nice. Zippers appear to be very rugged and durable. My only initial complaint is that this bag doesn't have the traditional duffel bag handle. There are several handles on the ends and sides, but I'm accustomed to carrying a duffel from the top, so this might be a learning curve for me. The percieved quality far outweighs my concerns, so I'm going to give this bag a try and hope it's as helpful as my larger version.

Love the duffel, just wish the zippers were better. Difficult to open (empty) & even harder to close (especially when full) zipping around the 2 corners? Forget it. Hopefully with more use they'll ease up a bit. Also don't like the backpack straps at all really, it's a duffel, not a backpack; they get in the way of the already-hard-to-open zippers, & the bottom portion, where they attach to the plastic buckle, is bass ackwards. It's pretty water/rain resistant, so that's a definite plus, & I like the grab handles on every side, they're very rugged.

This duffle bag is perfect for 4-6 day trips in literally any setting. This works great in both the outdoors and in cities. Super sweet overall. Durable, essentially water-proof, and also the design and color just look good together, so why not up your duffel bag game? The only con truly is when trying to wear it as a backpack it can be uncomfortable, but if you pack it correctly, it's not even a problem. The zippers can be stiff, as well, but after getting some use in that goes away.

I use this for both business trip for the practicality and looks as well as durability, very utilitarian if you watch what you stuff in it beside your back. Great bag!

The product is well built and as great looking as the photos. It fits my needs perfectly as a bag that keeps my clothes dry and safe. This bag will be my primary duffel when traveling. I would not recommend this bag for books or computers as it lacks the necessary structure.

Great for a long weekend trip or maybe even a little longer depending on what you're packing. This big open design makes it so much more spacious than a traditional backpack.
