This bag will double as my carry on to Alaska and will accompany me on all camping and fishing trips while I'm there. I live in Florida so this is a great bag for a day at the beach or on the boat as well. I have the medium and large bags as well for the long camping trips. Superb quality!

The small Base Camp Duffel is one of my best travel purchases by far. This bag has accompanied me on Sahara camel rides, treks through the rainy streets of London, and all across Japan. The small is a perfect fit for the majority of airlines' carry-on specs, and I have yet to have issue with rain soaking through. Another aspect that I appreciated when backpacking through crowded streets was that the main zipper access for the bag is impossible for others to reach since it's flush against my back. I can't imagine a more durable or convenient travel bag.

I just took the small sized bag on its first trip and it exceeded my expectations. I was slightly worried that it would be a little too small. It ended up fitting a weeks worth of clothes + my boots and some books on the trip back. It still fit easily in the carry on compartment with room to spare. The straps are great. When it gets heavy, just throw it on your back. I take lots of short trips and go on short tours as a musician and i am so glad I got this bag. It's the perfect size and seems very durable too.

Our family has 6 base camp duffles in a variety of colors and sizes. Our first one is over 15 years old and still looks as great as the others (well loved and well travelled as good gear should be)! The smaller sizes are great for airline carry on and the backpack straps are handy- and the colors are easy to spot at baggage claim. They hold tons and keep stuff dry. We love them! This one was a gift for a college bound friend. Best bags ever!

The Base Camp Duffel XS is an excellent duffel bag that I use as my small "personal item" accompanied by my carry-on bag. The build quality is superior and the cargo capacity is outstanding.

We have 3 small bags, which are great for a long weekend or a little longer the bags have great quality & great storage space. We also have 3 large bags which are great for a week or longer of travel!

I love this bag! I've had it for a couple of weeks and couldn't be happier. The bag is perfect for weekend trips and ideal for airplane carry-on luggage. I personally find the straps comfortable but they can be a little tricky to adjust. Overall, no complaints and I would certainly purchase again.

Base camp duffels have been my go-to bags for travel for several years now. I'v had a Medium and XS bag, and just recently purchased this Small bag. The Small bag that I received most recently is slightly different than my older bags: the shoulder straps are a little bigger, and there is no "centered" handle. The older bags had a 2-sided handle that could be connected over the top of the bag, which, when connected, covered the bag's opening, making it awkward to open. The new style replaces this arrangement with 1 handle on either side of the duffel, and it's much nicer to me. I have been using the XS bag as a gym bag and a carry-on bag for years, and it's ideal, if just slightly smaller than the maximum allowable carry-on size. I've found that I want just a little more room for some of my longer trips. So I've added the Small bag to my arsenal. It seems like the ideal size to me, and I can't wait to travel with it for the first time this week.

Great for weekend trips, outdoors and indoors. Will use it often!!

The bag is kind of stiff before it is broken into, but after that it feels great and is really gentle on the shoulders. It would have been better if a sling strap was provided with it

I went on a two trip to Europe and this bag was perfect! It fit easily in the overhead bins and was comfortable for walking/sightseeing for a few hours. I was able to fit a weeks worth of clothes by rolling everything and packing lightly. It beat paying for bag charges and having a bulky roller bag to worry about. Would definitely recommend!

I use this bag for travel on weekends or for short trips. Fits perfectly in over-heard bins on airplanes and makes a great carry-on. I also use it as a work out bag and it fits everything perfectly. I do wish it had a shoulder strap included, but the two backpack straps get the job done. It's really durable and made of good material. I would highly recommend this bag.

This duffel is bag is great to take any place any time, easy to carry. i'm traveling soon and will be getting a large one.

Bought this bag for light vacations to the beach, also use it for a gym bag, great around the pool area...awesome!

We just got back from a 9-day trip to/from Europe and this bag was perfect - durable, easy to pack/unpack, transport all of my belongings. We have two of these bags - they are our favorite, go-to travel bags.

Extremely happy with this product. I have both the medium and small duffels and have been extremely happy with them. I've already used both very rigorously and they have held up extremely well. High quality and extremely durable.

Gave this to my husband as a gift - he loves it! We have both used it for weekend travel and the straps are durable and don't hurt our shoulders like other weekend bags we have in our closet.

Great general purpose bag for short excursions. My only request would be to include a shoulder sling to carry it like like a small cross body or like a standard duffle

It looks like, the material quality is a top-notch. It is light weight, and rain proof. It is decent size as a carry-on.

Love this duffel. Small is a great size, I use for school, gym, short travel, and even groceries. Definitely going to buy more with different sizes! Worth the purchase!

I bought the bag for the gym and I love it. The small size I picked out is just right for what I need. And the bag seems to be built very well.
