Great shoe for a 6 year old

These are great for children with disabilities who may wear braces on their legs, such as AFO’s.

Our 5-year-old wears these with braces for toe walking. The shoe seems to be made for braces. The zipper & Velcro strips work very well when putting on & taking off. This is our second pair. This pair seems about 1/2 size too large so we have ordered 1/2 size down. They are durable and look good even after outgrowing them.

My daughter has used it every day for school for the whole year and they help up very well. She loves these shoes.

It was so exciting to find stylish shoes to fit over my sons afo's! The zipper makes it easy to get the shoes on and off the braces. The shoes run a little small. We went up a size and a half and we took the insoles out. The customer service is awesome! We had to return the first pair because they were too small. She immediately shipped another pair and they paid the shipping for the pair we returned. We love these!

We bought the fly ease shoes for our son who where's afo braces and the fly ease makes things so much easier, they slip write on with the zipper in the back , we love the decision we made to get them and Zappos was fast and easy to use, we got the shoes earlier than expected! These are my daughter's favorite shoes. She chooses to wear them much more frequently than any others. They are lightweight and comfortable. Best of all, they have held up very well and are still going strong 7 months after purchase - I think they are about to be outgrown before they wear out, which is amazing.

We’ve had the Nike Flyease for a few months now and they seem to be holding up well. I was so excited to find a stylish shoe for my child who wears AFOs. Not only do they look great, they are super easy to slip on and off.

The shoes fit like a glove and my child ran without having any problems. So happy we found these and will continue to buy each time he outgrows them!

I bought the Nike Flyease shoes for my 7 year old son, who wears an AFO brace on one foot. I was very nertto order online without trying on. These shoes are a dream for AFO wearers! The shoe uppers have a lot of stretch, which makes it a good fit for both the foot in the AFO and the foot without. The zipper on the back makes putting a shoe over an AFO as easy as anyone else putting on shoes. BefoI found the Flyease, putting shoes was a 10 minute process of struggling with a shoe horn to get the AFO in the shoe and the heel of the shoe would be ruined within a few weeks. I also love that these shoes look like regular Nike’s. If he’s wearing pants with the Nike Flyease, you can’t even tell he’s wearing a brace. And you can’t beat the price.

Wow! Great quality and style! Love these shoes! Got them for my 4 year old and he is all about the little zipper! Although he doesnt use it, just unzips it a bit, not all the way. Overall, a great hit!

Great for putting over my daughter’s AFOs!

After taking out the insole, they worked perfectly with my grandson’s KAFO braces. The only caveat is the zippers, which were very stiff and difficult to maneuver initially. I’d suggest lubricating the zippers as soon as you get them (lots of easy suggestions on line) and the problem is eliminated. We really love these shoes!

These shoes are so perfect for my (toddler) granddaughters! They can put them on and take them off themselves easily, yet they look like”big girl shoes”. Really stylish and comfortable too. Their customer service is awesome!!! We had to exchange one pair for a half size up, and they credited my card immediately and rushed the shipping in two days for the new pair at no cost to me!!!

Fits great. Zipper and Velcro is cool and convenient. Came quickly and saved the day because current sneakers broke on vacation. Would recommend and buy again.

What they don’t show in the picture is that the ENTIRE heel zips wide open. The Velcro unzips Clear around the heel so the whole back of the shoe literally detaches. It’s weird to me. Unnecessary for my kiddo, something else to mess with. But it doesn’t hurt anything. Just a really unusual feature not to be pictured!

My son and daughter both ordered a pair of these. My son is hard to fit shoes for. He has high arches, I believe, and it's difficult for him to get a lot of shoes on his feet. These are easy for him to get on and he loves wearing them. My daughter loves these too.
