These were for my 5 year old who wears AFOs. They were REALLY hard to unzip. There’s no way he could do it himself. I thought after 5 minutes the shoe might me defective but I finally pulled out and away from the shoe with a hard tug and that’s how they open up. Once open it was super easy to put the braced foot in. Zipping was just as hard. You really have to yank it out and then pull. That said these would work with his hinged AFOs. I’m returning them because they are too narrow. Wide width only starts in big kids sizes. I know a lot of people use these for AFOs so making a wide width in the little kids sizes would be good.

These are great for kids that wear braces and if the brace goes under the foot, you can remove the insole for more room! This was the only shoe we could get on our son with the braces on and though I wish the Velcro was a touch longer, they are overall a great option for kids with braces or difficultly tying laces! We had to go up 2 sizes to compensate for the brace but since they are low profile shoes, you can barely tell.

I bought these shoes for my 5 year old daughter that wears AFOs. They are very stylish. We had to remove the insoles for the braces to fit comfortably in the shoe but overall these tennis shoes fit and look great. Thanks for selling tennis shoes for kids that wear AFOs.

Wonderful shoes! My 7 year old loves them. She loves the look and they're very comfortable and light weight. They are narrow so if your child's feet run wide they're probably not the best shoe for them.

These shoes are perfect for AFO's. They allow you to put the braced foot into the shoe so easily!

I bought these for my daughter who wears an AFO on one foot. They fit her great and she was able to put on and take off her own shoes for the first time. They fit her brace great. The only complaint I have is that I wish the Velcro strap was just an inch longer. Otherwise great shoes for orthotic wearers.

I bought these for a Granddaughters who wears leg braces, finding shoes have Not been easy!!! I was told about Flyease and we wanted to find her a shoe that gives her independence and fit decent, these are great she can get them on and off all by herself which is going to be great for school. We bought 1 size up from the size she would wear without her braces and they fit great! I took the inserts out to give her more room and it is perfect! My only complaint is that the Velcro strap could be longer But a plus is there is Velcro on the tongue of the shoe. Will buy again!

My 7 yo son loves these. The zipper slip on aspect is probably his favorite part! They have held up well to daily use by a very active boy for the past 7 months - I'm back to get the next size! I have offered him sandals for the summer and he prefers these! They have gotten wet, dirty, dragged, and of course used for climbing, hiking, biking, playgrounds, and everything else a kid can dish out. Great price for a great shoe!

Good fit for narrow feet. My 7 year old has big feet but very narrow foot. This sneaker fits him well. He loves they style. I do not! Very light weight and flimsy. There is weird zipper on side for fashion value I’m assuming but do not use it. He unzipped and it got jammed. Was able to fix. Keeping these shoes as he likes them but don’t think they’ll last the summer for active boy outside.

These shoes are phenomenal for kiddos with AFOs. My son is able to be fully independent because he can unzip the shoe, slide his foot in with the AFO, and zip the shoe. Laces are hard for him so that makes them all the better!! I will continue to purchase these as he grows. Thanks for the awesome product!!

My 8 year old daughter loves these sneakers - albeit the size is a bit larger than other Nike sneakers she's had (she has another Nike same size, but they are clearly not).

Great sneakers - especially for kids with braces! My daughter has one foot in an SMO brace (wide) and her other foot is a prosthetic (narrow). These shoes fit both feet and their various widths perfectly because of the nice stretchy but firm laces. The back zipper is slick and makes putting them on a breeze. These are also VERY lightweight. Don’t weigh much at all. I absolutely recommend these for kids with unique shoe needs.

We absolutely love these shoes! We have bought them in 3 sizes now. They are very easy to put on for my little one and he never complains about them so they must be comfy. He is very picky when it comes to shoes. So, when we found these, we were so relieved. They are a bit pricey, but they lasted until he grew out of them.

These were a perfect fit for my son who wears an unhinged afo. He only has use of his right hand and he can get these on and off by himself.

The shoes are very cute and my daughter says they are comfortable. The zipper closure is pretty neat and holds her foot securely. Definitely would buy again
