I love the look but the back straps were too irritating, not soft enough or the edges were sharp. I would have loved to keep them if not for this problem.

Purchased these for a trip to Kauai where I’d be doing some serious hiking in rainy/muddy conditions. I was very disappointed. First off I needed to exchange for a size up as the first pair were just too small (normally wear 10 but needed 11). That wasn’t much of an issue as customer service handled the exchange quickly, but do be aware of sizing. The main issue was traction on wet, rocky surfaces. The shoes held up okay in just mud, slipping very little. But when it came to traversing wet rocky surfaces, I found it very hard to get any good grip and nearly bit it a few times even while being extra careful. It’s super wet in Kauai so this was a big issue. I also needed to remove them often to wash in streams and it was difficult to get caked mud from the soles. I also found it a bit hard to adjust the buckles in wet conditions. Maybe not so bad when dry, hard to say. Anyway a bit of a bummer as these are good looking shoes and I have enjoyed all other Tevas I’ve owned, but I’m not sure these are the best technical water shoes available on the market. Have also had good luck with Merrell hiking shoes so I may give them a try. Bottom line I would not recommend these for wet surfaces when you need a good grip.

I loved my last pair of Teva's and I search to find them or similar pair that were water type shoes. The last pair just sliped on and had draw string no velcro strap on the heal and no strap or clip on top. the velcro will wearout and occassionally the straps catch on something while hikeing and pull the strap loose. Again wish I could get the same precious pair but does not seem to be made, I will continue looking at Teva's and Keens at this point see if can find one to replace the Teva's I have had two pair of the old ones for like 10 years but now they are falling a part still wear one pair around house for things and yard. I now know when I find ones I really like need to buy up a few pair since the styles change

The shoe was exactly what I thought they would be but the strap that supports your Achilles heel rubs too much. When wearing them too long I feel like the skin is getting worn away. Want to change to the leather version in hopes that it addresses the issue but don't want to go through the hassle.

Have had several pairs of this shoe over the years. Love the style, but this pair causes blisters if worn for longer periods

Molding in left shoe by big toe has a dent in it from the manufacturing process. Heel strap is not comfortable. I put in adhesive pad there to make it better. I thought this would be an upgrade from my Keens but they are not.

I need a full size -- really 1.5 - larger than the same style from 6 years ago. Which has required more ordering and returning. Even after ordering 1 full size up, I really need 1.5 up but nothing available in that size :-( . Come on Teva, stop changing your sizing designations.

The fit is good, but the design change make these a no go for me. I've worn Omniums for years. They always had a soft "edge" where the sandal top met the top of my foot, making them great for all day wear. New design does not have this - the fabric edge is more abrasive, I took them off after 5 minutes. Been a Teva wearer for many years, but these don't make the grade. Disappointed

I would like a simple sandal with adjustable straps and no velcro. AHNU made a perfect sandal but out of business I suppose. Not a bad product, just okay

The shoes fit well, looked great, the sole is nice and sticky but not nearly enough arch support for me. The orthotic insoles I need from time to time do not fit in these shoes because they do not have a removable insole. Otherwise they are fine shoes.

I had 2 pair about 4 years ago. Those were put together better, they were actually adjustable, and were more comfortable. I won't be returning these but I will think twice before I purchase again.

I've wore Tevas for years. However, not going forward. The product fit and arch support are no longer the same. Fit is now too large and arch support has decreased.

Overall a very good shoe/sandal, well-constructed with a good snug fit. The problem I ran into (and from the reviews, I'm not alone) is with the design of the heel. Whether it's the rough material used, the strap along the back or the pronounced inward curve of the heel cup, my achilles tendon area was badly blistered after a day of wearing these. I tried alternately loosening and tightening the back strap to see if one of these would alleviate the problem, but neither seemed to do the trick. Basically the back of the sandal needs more flexibility and a softer, smoother material to correct this problem. Worn with socks, they are fine, and that is how I'll be wearing these. Though for many people, that defeats the purpose of wearing a sandal.

They were too narrow and you did not have any wides, so I had to send them back. The pair I was replacing, I have worn 12 years or more and I loved them. Since you didn't have the wides, I had to go somewhere else--sorry--hated it.

the one I had several years ago had a much better fit and adjustability. I will keep this one but it isn't as good.

My son liked the arch support, but the shoe rubbed the back of his heel wrong. I"m not sure if it was too loose on him or if the fit was just off.

The styling was exactly what I desired and when I first started wearing them I was really pleased. However, after about a day or two I noticed the edge of the tongue on the right foot was slightly curled inward making it uncomfortable to walk for more than five minutes without taking the shoe off and trying to straighten the tongue out. I started getting a blister from where the tongue dug into my lower ankle to the point I would curse a few times and overcompensate bending the tongue in the opposite direction. This would work for a while but after a ten minute interval of no discomfort, the tongue would revert back to digging into flesh. As time goes on the fabric is loosening up making it less pronounced.

Great sports, hiking, kayaking, canoeing water and land amphibious shoe. Negatives on the shoe though are as follows: the redesign on the toe limits breathability; back heel strap was re-designed too low and now causes blisters; and lastly, not crazy about the color, why don't you have basic tan like you used to have for many many years ?

Love the style, might be how my foot is shaped but the material rubs right at the posterior heel making it uncomfortable to walk any distance. They do not stretch well making taking on and off difficult - again might just be getting a slightly larger shoe would fix. Like most Tevas - heavy.

This is my third pair of Omnium 2's. I wear them daily and probably have logged over 1000 miles in them. This last change in style is unsatisfactory to me. I liked the last style much better. They last style fit more comfortably. The last style breathed better because of the open vents near the toes. This current model is closed, hotter and feels tighter. The (tongue) area was redesigned also. Not my favorite. I wish Teva would still offer color choices. Not a fan of the black, which doesn't look black. Looks charcoal gray at best.

Shoes rubbed the back of my foot and hurt. I returned them. I was hoping that they would fit as I liked the style a lot and I love my old Tevos.

This is my third pair of Tevas. Two of the three had quality issues. First pair the seams fell apart and Teva honored the warranty and replaced them. The other pair has issues with the shoe lace clasps. They have broken into pieces. Can still wear them since they also have velcro supports. Other than that, great shoe.

I am a woman, but I have always worn mens hiking boots, hiking shoes and sport sandals because they fit better. I tried these on and the footbed felt really good. The toe box was nice and wide and the forefoot felt very secure and stable. They have a touch of rocker, so the walking movement felt very natural, with no strain on my achilles tendon, in which I currently have tendonitis. The heels seemed to rub a bit, which worried me but I bought them anyway, as I was intending to use them primarily for moderate hikes with wool socks underneath. I also wanted to be able to wear them barefoot, so I went on a short two-mile hike yesterday evening. By the time I reached the turn-around point, both of my heels had open, bleeding, nickel-sized blisters on them. I guess the heel is too stiff for me to wear them without socks. When I got home, I noticed that I also had a blister on the bottom of my big toe. Note that I've never before had a blister on the bottom of my foot and that I haven't had blisters from footwear at all in twenty years and I hike a lot. Otherwise they felt really good on my feet, were very secure when hiking. My feet didn't slide around in them at all. When the blisters heal, I plan to try them with socks and hopefully won't have a problem again. I'm just a bit disappointed that I can't wear them barefoot. Oh, another problem with them is that I have a fairly high instep and I can just barely close the Velcro. Hopefully I will be able to fit socks inside them.
