I really like these shoes. I had a pair just like them that I wore for years. They are cool like a sandal, but enclosed over the toes. Overall, just a great design for a shoe. Now for the problem. The stitching in several places is not smooth -- one along the heel and one in the strap over the foot. These rub against my skin and cause blisters. It's not a "fit" issue, as they fit fine. But the high stitching digs into my skin and either leaves and indentation or causes a blister. I tried wearing them every other day for a few hours to see if my skin would toughen up, but it's no match for the knots in the stitching which are not smooth with the leather. I ended up ordering some heel inserts for women's shoes and putting them over the high stitching -- problem solved.

I needed some sandals for water use. I'll also use them for warm weather daily use. A great sandel.

I bought these sandals for a trip out west. Knocked out a ten mile hike no problem! Had a little bit of rubbage to began with but just loosened the sandal and all was better. Would purchase again.

During spring and summer. While fishing and camping. But also everyday during summer for comfort.

I received my pair yesterday. They are exactly what I wanted. Light, cool, comfortable EXCEPT the lining around the top of the heels & front top sides needs to be a smoother material. I wore them w/o socks for a 1.5 mi walk & they were rubbing me raw. Rubbed the skin off on one foot around the heel. I've ordered some moleskin to put in to reduce this...hopefully because I could really love these. I'm using duck tape on the "hot spots" on my feet until I get the moleskin. Here's hoping!

I have used your sandals for many years, but last year I bought for the first time Omnium 2 . Very pleased, comfortable and cool - perfect for where I live in Colombia. But, as seems to happen on a number of shoes I have purchased from Teva, the soles separate from the uppers. My Ominous are less than 1 year old and already I have had to reglue them. As there is no national postal service in this country, returning them to you by Fedex is a costly exercise, so apart from glue, I have to get a friend to purchase and bring me another pair from the US. Please get your manufacturer to use a better adhesive !

this is my 3rd pair of yhe Omimum sandlles . The older ones simply wore out. The new ones fit perfect. I was skeptical of the closed holes near toes compared yo prior versions, but does not seem to be an issue and will keep a lot more dirt, rocks out. I love having the snap buckle to quickly take saddles on or off.

I've relied on Teva sandals for years, and like the quality and toughness. I wanted a new pair with a closed toe design because there's gravel and sand where I live and I don't want to have to keep taking off my shoes to get the stones out from under my soles. These Tevas do the job. I notice my feet are warmer than with the open toe design, but it's worth it. Also, I like having the option of a vegan shoe.

Very comfortable and easy to on & off

I bought these for my husband and he says they are a bit narrow. He is hoping that they stretch out a bit. Otherwise, he likes them.

I prefer the straps and buckle closure, rather than the elastic string method. I have owned Teva's before.

Teva's are comfortable and high quality shoes. My last pair lasted 15 summers before they wore enough for me to buy a new one. I can walk all day and not experience any pain beyond the normal "I walked all day" pain: no blisters or chaffing. However, the new pair I bought, despite being closely related in style to my previous Tevas, is more enclosed in the toe. I couldn't find the right balance of open breathing and closed protection among the Tevas I looked at online. Still, find a style you like and buy away, as they are the highest quality sandal i have ever worn.

For hiking, I would still recommend wearing a pair of socks to avoid blisters. However, if your shoes get wet the TEVA's are designed to funnel away the water and dry quickly. Still beware of sand and small rocks and debris that can still enter thru the openings in the side of the shoe.

Prefer old model. It had 2 more air holes toward the toes. More air. N Summertime and yet when wet/rainy, feet seem still to stay dry.

I use them for casual wear year-round, indoors and out in the summer, usually just indoors during cold weather, usually with socks. I like them, but I liked the original design and materials (leather) better. I'm sorry they're no longer available in that style.

Comfortable but very warm. Could use better ventilation.
