I have to say that I am not thrilled with these. I bought them to replace my tried and true Teva sandals but now regret the style I chose. They are not nearly as airy as a sandal, and look from a distance more like a sneaker when on. I also got bad blisters in the back - though hopefully I can develop calluses eventually. On the plus side the snap connector makes them easier to put on and off than velcro and I think they would be good for water sports.

The toe in this "updated" version is closed in, whereas the pair I had from several years ago, although similar, doesn't have a completely closed in toe which allows my feet to breathe better

I really like the leather version, I keep forgetting the nylon or plastic version isn't nearly as comfortable.

Didn't keep these because they were stiff and the heel rubbed. Kept the Keen Rialto.

I have owed Teva sandles in the past, this enclosed version is very tight on my feet.

These are great looking sandals that are just too uncomfortable in the heel. The sandal fits great everywhere but the heel, and seems very well made. The issue is that no matter how I adjust the sandal, my heel gets rubbed raw. I wanted to like these since they would fit my purposes perfectly, but the heel issues are too much.

I didn't like this. Right when I put it on, I could feel the seam on the back of my heel scraping and I knew it would be ripping me up in no time.
I initiated a return and it was super easy. I exchanged for a more sandal style (which is what I had previously that lasted me for over 30 years). I just got that and it is way better.

I bought these for my wife and she loved how they looked! However, they were extremely tight to the point that she could not even walk. They are not adjustable over the top of the foot as well so there is no fix other than to return :(

I'm very flatfooted but I have been wearing your shoes & flip-flops for 20-25 years. This is the first pair of anything that I have felt discomfort with.

Absolutely loved the design of this sandal. These has the best of both worlds, comfort and protection of a shoe with the cooling and airflow of a pair of sandals. The left shoe I had no issue with, it fit perfectly but the right shoe in particular was another story. The right heel was stitched improperly causing the heel strap to protrude over the protective fabric resulting in the heel strap digging into my heel. It caused pain while walking and gave my heel blisters. As a result I have had to return the product. Makes me wonder why the manufacturer didn't make this model with Teva hurricane xlt2 heel straps which are the most comfortable sandals I currently own. Might have to try again this model again when they make the omnium 3's, hopefully with the hurricane xlt2 heel straps or at least put that silk pad from those on the heel for comfort.

My first pair 5 years ago was great. This Design rubs my Achilles Hill raw because of the threading. Have to wear socks if I wanna wear these.

I was looking to replace my well-worn Teva Abbett sandals. The Omnium 2 looked nice and fit ok. However, I like my sandals to have an upper heel support and to be able to slip on and off quickly. The straps get in the way of this. If you loosen the straps enough to slip on, you have to tighten them back for a good fit. I might as well be wearing regular shoes. I saw other models that might work, but they were not available in my size or on backorder for longer than I wanted to wait. If you don't mind the straps, these are nice sandals. Sadly, I have had to return these and look elsewhere.

This is the first time I haven't been happy with a TEVA shoe. The back strap was sown on to high causing the Velcro to rub my heal. I had to trim it and hope the stitching holds

Great looking but disappointing
These Omniums are my replacement for my beloved Teva Kimtah sandal, which sadly are no longer made. The Omnium looks great in my opinion, in a world of mostly ugly hiking sandal options for men. However, these are over-engineered and rather flimsy feeling. There are too many buckles, too much velcro, uncovered elastic straps, such that your feet are scarcely protected from the hardware. These tore up my heels due to the thin heel protection that barely covers the thick heel strap. With band-aids on my heels, they are comfortable however, and hopefully will break in ok. Width and arch support is pretty good (I am an 8-3/4E and the fit is fine). The pull strap on top is non-elastic and the button on the slide adjuster is fake. With some careful adjustment, you might find these comfortable though. The earlier Kimtah was so much simpler, elegant and of vastly superior design and quality. What happened Teva?

I had read very good reviews about this sandal. It has the support it claims. However, the stitching is poor and it caused several blisters. .5

PLs. Ring back original Omniums. They were much better. They were more comfortable.

I usually wear an 8 to 8.5 in a sandal including Teva. Ordered this in 8.5 but it fits more like 7.5 to 8.5. Am trying to stretch them with shoe trees so that they are wearable. May not ever be as comfortable as my old Tevas.

It's kind of close to the original but doesn't have the same arch support, it doesn't breathe as good and the way the heel strap is made puts blisters above the heels. The quality isn't the same

This is my second pair of Omnium 2 and it will likely be the last. This current version is much less comfortable than my first pair which is about 4 years old. The interior lining in the new pair is thinner and more abrasive. I will likely have to wear socks if I try to wear these new Omnium. Also, your color choices are woefully behind choices offered by other brands such as Keen. Wish I had bought the Keens.

I have to say, I am really disappointed in this shoe. My son has outgrown Keens and the adult Keens are too difficult to put on. So I tried these. They looked good but he walked 3 or 4 blocks blocks and started developing raw blisters on the back of his feet. For the price (!) I would not expect his feet to be blistered up that quickly but that's what happened. Now he doesn't even want to wear them again. I want to loosen them and try again but now he's gun-shy and I'm afraid I'm out $90. Full disclosure: Two years ago I bought Teva sandals for myself that I love, really love -- but I will not be buying any more Keen-style shoes for my kids from Teva.

The velcro straps across the instep do not stay closed after the second use. Less width than the earlier version.
