I own two pairs of these sandal. One pair has performed flawlessly. The other pair has an outsole parting from the toe back to the first strap. The most action they have seen is two trips to the beach, and split duty with the other pair with gardening, walks around the neighborhood, and trips to the store. Nothing even close to rough. It doesn't appear that they can handle the heat and humidity of SE Texas. Since they are 21 months old, they don't qualify for the warranty and Teva offers no advice on how to fix them. I love the fit and support, but if they can't last more than one season, then they need to be purchased annually, which clearly doesn't support Teva's policy of reducing waste.

Have had these shoes for a little over a year but haven't worn them too many times. They fit very well but the sole has completely come unglued. Would not recommend due to them falling apart. Get the one piece bottom so they are more durable

Clearly not made well like I've been told of Teva fans in the past. The glue that holds the top and bottom part together has given out and they are truly falling apart. I am not a heavy user of them, but I use them for my travels. Disappointed and feel like Teva has dropped the ball.

POOR QUALITY TEVA SANDALS
I HAVE WORN TEVAS FOR ABOUT A DECADE. BUT LATELY THESE TEVAS I PURCHASED ARE OF VERY POOR QUALITY. THE DON'T EVEN LAST A YEAR! MAYBE A SEASON OR TWO. TEVA PLEASE LET YOUR PATRONS KNOW THAT YOU HAVE CHANGED THE QUALITY OF THE MATERIALS THAT WERE PREVIOUSLY USED FOR TEVAS.
I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH MY TEVA SANDALS ; /

I have walked over 600 miles in these since I received them at the start of May. The insoles are still cushy, the straps look like new, even the tread on the sole looks like it still has lots of wear left. The only problem is the sole separated from the insole, basically from the heel to the ball of the foot. I'm so sad, too, because I wear (wore) them every day and now have to find a new favorite cushioned sole outdoor sandal.

I purchased these and the other two pairs in this order because the description said the Velcro straps said they would be good for people with wide feet. While all of them certainly fit fine, and the hurricanes were the most comfortable, they it was obvious that if I walked a few miles in wdw in the heat and my feet had any swelling, a common problem for people, the Velcro would not accommodate

The sandal was defective upon arrival. The stitches on the side strap were not done properly and the strap broke off. Teva need to use a different but more secured stitch type for that strap as that side strap can experience constant tension. I am glad the return process has been easy.

Shoes lasted less than two years. Rarely ever wore them. Wore them only in the summer and not that often. Bottom of them came apart.

I purchased for hiking and travel. Could not adjust to be comfortable. Was either too tight or too loose. I do have bunions which complicates things.

I bought this same model at the same time in another color. One pair is fine and feels good. The black pair digs into the top of my foot. Both adjusted the same.

I just received a new pair, both squeak, one more than the other. I'm returning them. I bought 2 pairs a few years ago and one pair squeaks, the squeak never went away. The top Velcro strap on the other pair wore out pretty quickly. I had an even older pair that I use in the garden and they held up better than those 2.
I've been wearing Teva sandals since, I think the 80's. I knew I could get a pair and they were good, comfortable, and would last a long time. It looks like those days are gone. Sadly, all good things come to an end, time to move on.

I bought a pair of these shoes about 10 years ago and love them. I wanted to get another pair before the old pair wears out - not the same sandal at all. Uncomfortable and gave me a blister have wearing for 2 hours. Returned!

The straps on the Teva Hurricane sandals I purchased appear to be made of the coarsest, scratchiest material of any sandal I have purchased in well over 20 years. There is no lining on the foot contact side. It makes them uncomfortable to wear and neither the straps nor my feet appear to be "breaking in" and improving at all.

In two occasions i bought two sandals but one of them was too small. i requested an exchange and it has been more than 5 phone calls/texts and they keep on promising to take care of the issue. They have not kept their words. I would not shop again

I have been wearing this design for years, always a size 8. But it seems you have made them just a little smaller, made the straps a little shorter two and I can't wear them with socks on. So won't order them anymore. Can't trust the size. Won't mail them back and forth. No one sells them in Spokane. All done.

I have spent the last month trying to figure out how to get these sandal to fit...and have been unsuccessful.
At first my toes were overhanging the front edge...so I let the rear heel area out a little and tighted the front end : My observations are that the velcro areas are limiting the adjustment flexiblitity with the adjustment strap too long. Also I find that the center snap area will not hold its adjustment...I tighten...its slides back to its fully extended position. Very disappointing...I'm back to using my older sandal and will not use the new ones...such a waste!

After a year of shopping I finally got my first pair of Teva's. My first pair was way too big for my foot so I return those and purchased a smaller size. since then I have slipped on rocks that I have never slipped on before with my rainbow flip-flops. Not to mention there is no side support at all. You would think with the strapping it would be a secure fit but I did not find that to be true at all. I'm very disappointed in the fit and slipperiness both in the soul and on the bottom of the shoe in wet terrain.
I had high hopes for these shoes and I know they would last a long time. But for some reason they are horrible for me.

So these would be soooo much better if Teva had used a softer rubber sole, like they do in some of their other styles. If you’re looking for even a small bit of cushion, look elsewhere. Can’t wear these too long, as I had hoped, cuz they’re too hard and stiff.

I have worn Teva sanders for years and always liked them. I wear them mostly walking around town with some light hiking. I enjoy the comfort, the quick drying in the rain (no soggy feel) and the fresh air on my feet. This is my first new pair in a while. The strap material feels stiffer and more abrasive. It makes them not very comfortable. I hoped they would break in and become softer with use. So far this has not happened. I suspect it is a change to the material.

I returned these sandals as the straps were too narrow and the front strap crossed over the toes (rather than behind them) making the shoes uncomfortable.
