The Velcro across the front toe area on one shoe was longer than the other and dragging on the floor.
The triangular fastener on the side of the foot rubs on the skin and causes the skin to redden and sloth off. This was very disappointing as I was planning to do a lot of walking with the sandals.

Bought these for a trip to Hawaii thinking they'd be a comfortable sandal to walk around in. However, the Velcro and straps are so rough that they creating scratches and blisters. If they used a soft material on the underside of the straps it would be a game changer. I'm also not sure if there make them so wide on purpose, but they do look a little silly with an extra inch of platform around the entire foot.

Teva used to be a great product. Apparently marketing guys decided that they need to fall apart quicker and boy do they. My current pair didn't even last one year of puttering around the yard and short dog walks. Already the sole components have split apart. I will have to gorilla glue them together, like the last pair, and that will last a few more months. I thought that pair was a fluke. Now I know Teva is making a cheap expensive product.

Shipping was fast, and they seem durable from what I can tell. Unfortunately, I only was able to wear them for a few hours and got a nasty blister on the top/side of my big toe where the strap rubs. I felt several other uncomfortable areas where blisters will likely form if I continued to wear them for any longer periods. My mistake was wearing these for the first time on vacation in Mexico, I didn't have any other water shoes packed. I was hoping to go in and out of lakes/cenotes with these, but I could not bear the pain to put it back on my foot after the first day. I only used them to bike and walk around town, got only light use out of them. Unfortunately by the time I was back home it was past the return date so I'm stuck with them. This was my first time trying Tevas, and unfortunately, probably my last. Guess they just don't work for my feet.
I think they ran a tiny bit big, maybe going down half a size would have helped. But again, it was too late to do any kind of exchange as the return policy doesn't seem to be very flexible.

This may seem weird given that they are true to size and comfortable. My complaint is that the quality of the colored 'tape/banding' does not compare to a 10 year old pair I have. Exposed velcro snags this to the point that they already look old and worn!! If you cross your feet and one shoe touches the other, you risk damaging the 'tape/banding'. Wish I could figure out how to seal it against snagging!

Ordered my usual size 8. It fits well on the heal, but gets strangely wide towards the front. The connecting triangles are uncomfortable. Returning.

Like the way the style looks. But straps are scratchy on my feet. Unable to wear.

I wear these Teva sandals daily, just as I used to wear my much softer and more flexible leather sandals. I did think that these Tevas would become more flexible and softer as I wore them, but they did not. I don't think that i will buy Teva sandals again. Part of the problem is that Teva only comes in whole sizes and I my sandal size is 8.5.

The Hurricane XLT2 are super cute but unfortunately not super comfy. The straps rubbed on my baby toe which I feel with time may have broken in however the crease on the sole of the shoe was a deal breaker. There is a line the runs on the sole of the shoe and it pinches the bottom of your foot near your toes. I wish the shoe was smooth where the bottom of your foot rests. It's a design flaw and actually causes discomfort.

I wanted to love these, but they rub my foot near pinky toe because they do not have the padding under the plastic connectors that the other types of these do. Unfortunately, I was only able to wear these once due to this. :/

I'm a size 8 in Women's across the board. I have had to size down to 7's with my older Teva's and this is especially true for this pair. It's a shame because all other sizes are out of stock. I was also disappointed that this sole doesn't have very strong arch support.

I love this sandal, but I noticed after walking for a day the strap on my left foot cuts into my baby toe. Its not a blister, more of a rubbing that cuts into my toe. I didn't want to return then, so once my toe healed I tried walking in them again & it starting to happen again. So disappointing. My right foot is fine, so its really strange. So be aware, this may happen to you!

I just could not get the left foot to fit well. The plastic triangle holding straps together was irritating. They appear to be true to size. I still would recommend these shoes, but they just didn't work for me.

I so badly want to love my tevas! They are so cute and easy to put on. The sole is supportive and my feet don't feel sore after walking in them. Unfortunately, the top triangle where the straps meet (right by my pinky toe) chafes and caused a blister (now turned scab) on both of my feet. I thought maybe my feet would adjust or the shoes would break in, but it keeps happening. Having my feet hurt and bleed every time I wear them for more than a few minutes sucks and I wish I'd realized they did that before I threw away the box.

Felt like I had platypus feet wearing these! It wasn’t that the wearable portion of the shoe was wide - just that the entire shoe was wide in the toe area. And while there’s some arch support it wasn’t enough.

These shoes are so cute and I want to love them so bad but the rough material the straps are made of feels so bad on my feet.

I have several pair of teas and love them. This pair fit very odd.
The strap at the back of the heel did not stay up. They were overall
large and bulky.

The actual sole/where your feet sit, was extremely comfortable- it was the straps/connection plastic piece for me, that completely ruined these sandals. I bought these for a hiking trip, and decided to test them out running some errands, grocery shopping, etc. The area where my pinky toe meets the strap, was red and a little swollen even after consistently adjusting them. I thought maybe I need to break them in more. Played frisbee and ran around a bit in them the following day and HAD to switch into my old original 50 dollar Tevas bc my pinky toe just could not do it anymore lol. So sad but it is what it is. At least they fit?? I'm a 7.5 and sized down/

After wearing this style of Teva for many years, my latest pair is a real disappointment. The straps feel stiff and cheap and the overall fit is not the same. The footbed seems wider making them look more like orthopedic sandals than stylish ones.

These sandals feel good on the bottom but not when you walk, my toes hang over the shoes when I walk because they don't stay in the sandal. When I tighten the front strap it holds them in but it's so tight it rubs my pinky toe raw and they are very painful. Will be returning.

I'm not super impressed. This shoe has great reviews, but I think that the straps hurt my feet. The straps are too rough for the heavy sole. The shoes are heavy and hard to stay on. I can't find a comfortable fit. Either the straps are loose and the shoes are floppy and unstable, or the straps hurt my feet. Not a shoe you can wear long periods. Will give blisters. Kind of annoyed because they are expensive and I really wanted to like these. I wouldn't go hiking in these tho. These are casual street shoes. I want to return them, but not sure if I can because I had to wear them outside because I was unsure.

Size 8 my toes hung over. My old Tevas were size 8 fit perfect. No padding, left marks on my ankle. They looked nice and sole was substantial.
