Just bought and walked three holes in them. They destroyed my ankles unlike any shoe before. The lace system is a failure and only tighten around the tongue. I can't drop bombs in these shoes. What a joke.

Marginal shoe at best for the price.

Not recommended. These boa series are excellent in origin, but somehow they don't fit well to the toe and keep pressuring on the top of toe, which results in a lot of pain in the end. This was a replacement after the initial purchase of the other BOA. I liked a boa 2 years ago, but somehow this 2019 boa is a failure after several trials of different type of boa. Plus, this Helis Boa is priced way below in USA as a prior year model, even after 30% foreign exchange markup.

Unlock mechanism broke after 4 months of use. I could not get one of the shoe of my foot as lace did not release with unlock mechanism. Now one shoe is useless as I can not fit my foot in to it.

Upgraded to the DNA Helix as my previous DNA's had a dodgy spike that wouldn't stay in...Usually the DNAs are like slippers but thought these were a bit tight to start with...After 1 round my left heel had no skin there...Stupidly I played the next day with blister packs on but then got a blister on the other heel as well as a blister on the top of one of my toes on the left heel as I was walking awkwardly...Need to stretch them as doubt my pros shop will take them back :-( Im a normal size 9)

I bought these Last EXACT same shoes last year, in the same size, and these are too tight. How is that possible? Returning them of course. Jeez.

Spoke to 3 people. All different info. Shoes were not what was stated. Sent back.

I'm normally a size 9 medium. My toes were crammed into the size 9's toe in this shoe. So I went to a size 9.5 medium. First round I developed blisters on the side of the big toe on each foot. Also, the narrow fit locks in the ball of the foot, but I've got a bit of room in the heel, so the foot twists in the shoe.Tried another pair of size 9 and the toes are crammed, while room in the heel. I've been a loyal Footjoy customer because they back up their product. These are going back.

Bought a pair of DNA Helix w/ Boa having LOVED the DNA and DNA 2.0. Whereas the two previous models were out of the box walk all day comfortable, the Helix was a disappointment. Stiff and uncomfortable. After walking three rounds I'm returning them.

I had a pair for less than a year and the spikes on my left shoe keeps on coming off constantly replacing them. Finally, the cleat receptacle got damaged and no longer able to put on the cleats anymore.

Poorly made. One shoe was larger than the other and I had to return them.

Showed up damaged. Returned them was still charged from shipping.

Perhaps they just need to be broken in further, but after a few rounds and several trips to the range they are causing blisters on my heel, and the cushion in the sole doesn't feel as comfortable as prior generation DNAs. Toe box is also extremely rigid.

The original DNA's were amazed NFL comfortable. I went through 3 pairs including one set of BOA's. I'm not sure who is in the design room for footjoy but these things are hideous. I'm almost embarrassed theycare so ugly. They look like a 20 year old pair of Contours, not to mention the dotted paint. Cmon guys!!! Nike and UA look better and I hate both those companies.
