When I first got the Helix, I took them out for a few rounds not expecting much more than what I experienced with the DNA. Basically, I expected them to be comfortable with solid traction but nothing more that would make me wear them after I had done my testing. Two months later I find myself choosing to wear the Helix nearly every round. Note, I typically have about 7 pairs of quality golf shoes to choose from. Over the past two months I have played in varying conditions from bone dry to extremely wet. Just this week I played a mountain course in Virginia. We actually had a 45 minute delay while it dumped about 2 inches of rain. Not only were my feet absolutly dry, but I was super impressed with the level of traction both during my swing and navigating the steep terrain. It is hard to quantify traction and stability during a round, but subliminally you can tell. Perhaps it is manifested in a level of confidence. In any case, despite having zero expectations of wearing these shoes more than 5 times, I am on round 15. If I had to boil it down to the top 5 reasons why the Footboy DNA Helix have become my go to shoe this summer it would be: Weight: The DNA Helix are super light compared to other tour level shoes. Comfort: While still not as comfortable to walk in as "sneaker" type of golf shoes, the Helix are absolutly appropriate for walking 18 holes. Traction, grip and stability: The Footboy Helix, has these qualities in spades. I don't think you will find a shoe that is significantly better in this area. Quality leather: Along with being waterproof, the DNA Helix leather is really soft making it more flexible when walking than other tour level shoes. Low heal: I am a fan of shoes with little to no heal which is common in many high end golf shoes. Fortunately, the Helix sits very low to the ground.

The FJ HELIX is an excellent pair of gamer shoes for walking the course- steep angles on hillsides and dunes- not a problem. These shoes were tested in a cold wet rainy conditions for a week of golfing in Ireland and also a week in a well over a hundred degrees of heat in Las Vegas, Nevada. The FJ HELIX performed extremely well- impeccable! It's light weight design and thick cushion foot bed felt like walking on air and it is definitely waterproof. One that I am very proud of is its stability- its base foundation helps keep me in good balance and secured grounded. This is important to me as it gives me the confidence to do my golf work without any worries. Fabulous pair of golf shoes!!

Incredible fit, super comfortable. They seem to mold around your foot. Importantly, these shoes stick to the ground like suction cups enhancing my golf performance. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love the feel of new HELIX shoes because they are sturdy, have great stability and are very breathable. I actually shot my best round of the season the first day I played in them and I think this was largely because the shoes have such great stability which is perfect because of how quickly I transfer my weight throughout the swing.

This is the best DNA shoe yet! I wore these over five rounds right out of the box and they provided an incredible amount of comfort during each round, stability on uneven lies and great looks based upon the compliments I received! These are without question my new favorite shoe, I can't wait to get another pair!

Wore these out of the box on a very hilly course while carrying my bag and my feet never ached at all. Even though they are very lightweight, they offer a lot of support and torque!

The D.N.A. Helix shoes provided an excellent combination of lightweight performance and stability. They were very comfortable walking and I felt connected to the ground through my swing with the wide cleat pattern on the thin, but stable sole.

The comforting soft foot bed protected my feet from fatigue. The comfort is noticeable right from the start throughout the time I was in HELIX. In the high winds with rain and some puddles of water on the course, itwas a piece of cake. The HELIX continued to perform well and grounded me in a good stable grip.

I didn't think that you could improve on the DNA, but you did. Super comfortable right out of the box. The new tongue design is phenomenal and keeps the tongue in place. The shoes are extremely lightweight and I experienced zero foot fatigue after playing 27 holes with them on their Maiden voyage.

Always loved the look of this shoe. It's clean, tailored, looks dressy, and compliments all my golf apparel. I always purchased the white color. Had some fit issues a couple years back.....had to buy a wide versus medium.

This shoe is close enough to DNA 2.0. I very much like the look of this shoe not withstanding the seam on the toe. White shoes are "class."

This is about my 6th pair of Footjoy golf shoes and every time they always fit great. The transition between each pair is seamless. If your looking for great golf shoes look no further.

The shoe runs a bit large but once I needed a 9.5 instead of an 11 (my normal shoe size). I also needed to get a wide shoe. So beware before you buy these if you already have wide feet they may not fit. I have pretty narrow feet. Also dont expect them to fit to exact size. Overall have had them for a few days and love them!

These shoes are very comfortable as expected from FootJoy, and performed better than I expected. I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend these shoes.

Justes parfaites! Facilit d'utilisation du BOA, maintien du pied, stabilit, esthtique, etc. Tout est parfait!

Belle prsentation et systme boa nouvelle gnration excellent.... on sent la chaussure se serre tout autour du pied pour un maintien parfait. Pour l'instant, je n'ai pas fait un 18 trous complet avec, donc elles sont bien sr trs rigides, mais je pense qu'elles vont s'assouplir assez vite.

I did the un-thinkable. I bought the D.N.A Helix shoes and proceeded to wear them three days in a row golfing. They have been great to this point in terms of comfort and durability. I have one complaint with them so far, I bought the White/Silver pair with the "Orange" Eye at the top for the shoe laces. This Orange piece dyes the white laces Orange, its very annoying as I love the clean white look of the shoe and now the laces have a faded orange look to them. I took the laces out to clean the shoes after my first couple of rounds and the shoes have stayed nice and white, for the life of me, I can not get the laces that have been dyed orange back to white.

I'm anxious to see how they hold up. I've played 5 rounds so far and I'm hoping the left shoe does not get warped with the turning to the left side from my swing.

I've purchased a lot of F.J's over the years but these are the best looking, best fitting, most comfortable golf shoe I've owned. I liked them so much I bought a second pair in white/ gray!
