I searched far and wide for shoes that would fit my wide-footed toddler with an AFO and these were the only ones that worked. None of the other brands recommended for AFOs (Nike, Stride Rite, Plae) worked, only these!! I'm so grateful. Thanks NEW BALANCE!

If you're looking for extra wide to fit an AFO these fit. Get the extra wide since they are easy to slide on and the tabs are long enough to stay closed.

These are great for my toddler's wide feet. He's the one wearing them so I can't *totally* give a 100% review, but he has no complaints and seems to be able to move about well in them. They slip on easily, and I love velcro for his shoes as he is learning to get them on and off himself. They have held up well. As a 2.5 year old, he outgrows shoes pretty fast, but they do the job, and these are the 3rd or 4th pair I've gotten for him.

I have found new balance extra wide are the only brand that work for my babe! Bought them in 2 sizes. Stride rite XW are awful / I’ve wasted too much money on them. Will only buy NB as long as he needs XW.

My son loved his shoes, wore them to pieces; he received lots of compliments. Fit great for his little wide feet.

My son only wants to wear this sneaker! Any color of it but only this type. We have at least 3 different outgrown sizes. Easy to put on and i think it has a good support for the foot and thick sole - yes they are small but still need some cushioningn. Hence 5 stars from us :-)

New Balance makes very good kids shoes - my son loves these. Really a solid shoe.

These shoes were amazing!! My boy wore them out, but they held up the entire time, to rough playground use, walks in the woods, countless machine washes. He wore them until he out grew them which was 6 months.

Our toddler has over-pronation, these shoes were perfect for him!

These shoes are perfect for my toddler who needs a wide width shoe. They are easy to take on and off and the fit is great. As his feet grow I will probably keep buying this shoe in bigger sizes!

My son has wide feet and these fit him great (bought them in wide width). These are one of the only toddler size shoes that have good bottoms (most other brands are too smooth and don't seem to provide grip). My one wish is that they would come in more vibrant colors.

Perfect for my son! He loves them and doesn't want to take them off, I can already tell he is walking better and with more ease than with his high tops from Target. Will definitely be ordering for my other son when he starts walking!

We had a very hard time finding shoes for our little 1 1/2 year old boy who has a wide food with high arch. This shoe saved us, no more searching and trying shoes. His feet slides in easy and is not tight on him. Other shoes the velcro on top just fit over the shoe and look funny. This shoe looks great on him and he loves running, climbing and splashing puddles in them. Do they make boots......? Happy Mom

Bought these for my nephew for school sneakers, as the Nikes I got him before school started already fell apart. He really likes them and says they are more comfortable than "the other ones"

This was my grandson’s first pair of shoes after a major foot surgery. I had to order one pair in normal width and one pair in xtra wide. I hate that Zappos doesn’t have a split shoe policy for people with uneven feet but the shoes are great. Very easy to get on and he loves them also.

My son needs XW shoes and has high arches. Usually only tie shoes will do, which makes him putting on his own shoes out of the question. These work perfect for us. We buy nothing but New Balance XW now and Zappos is the only place that has them.

It’s was a little bigger but great shoe for boys that are on the go

My 3 yr old says these shoes make him fast.
