I bought a similar pair of leather Chacos two years ago which have been wonderful and are still in great shape. I assumed that these would be similar quality and was disappointed. The leather does not have the same feel and there is no stitching along the strap as in my current pair. The style is different as well and the strap on these hit a sensitive part of the top of my foot so I am not able to wear them.

I tried these after liking the more traditional, sporty Chacos made with fabric - those have lasted me several seasons. However, these leather Chacos wore very quickly. The foot bed is noticeably worn, the front area scuffed sooner than I'd expect. Overall it just looks way more worn than I'd expect and have experienced from other brands, like Mephisto or Naot.

It was not stated that these shoes are a negative heel. That is very uncomfortable for me. It should be stated

Cute sandal but... I usually wear 9.5M but these only came in full sizes so I ordered a 10. The sandal was still too short in length and too narrow. I've never worn Chacos before so I don't know if this is typical for the brand.

Have had my eyes on these sandals for a long time. Ordered when they came on sale. The leather straps are much thinner than anticipated. Good sole and arch support, but just hits my arch in the wrong spot. Too uncomfortable. Will be returning them. May work for a different foot.

I have a wider foot across the mis section. I didn't like the pressure of the straps. I think the sandals are so cute. Wish they came in a W option.

I'm so disappointed because these shoes are really cute and comfy, but I'm normally a size 6.5 and there are no half sizes. The size 6 was too small and the 7 too big, so unfortunately I had to return the shoes.

I really wanted to like these—gorgeous sandals with great arch support. A girlfriend swears by them. I wear a half size, and while the perimeter of the shoe fit great, I experienced the arch as hitting a little too high on my foot—some of it extended to the ball of my foot.

I wear a size 5 in the original adjustable-strap Chacos, but a 5 in this style was a bit too small for me - the footbed seems narrower at the front.

I have medium/wide feet and these were exceptionally narrow. The footbed was actually fine width-wise but the way the straps are placed, it pulls the big toe in at the first knuckle creating a bunion effect even though I don't have a bunion. Sad to have to return.

I really wanted these to work since I live in my other two pairs as much as I can. These just didn’t work. They were comfortable to stand in but when walking my foot slid forward making it awkward to walk.

Overall, a very well made sandal. I found the arch support to be sufficient. The straps are a very thick, stiff leather that was uncomfortable to me and I was not willing to "work them in". Perhaps if they were offered in half sizes the stiff straps would not have been a deal breaker.

The sandals are simple and beautiful however they only come in full sizes (I wear 8.5) and the recommended size based on previous purchases (8) was way too small. When I returned the sandals, they were no longer available in the next size up so I can’t speak to that fit. The leather is also a bit coarse and I imagine that they would take some time to break in.

So sad to have to return these but I was unable to adjust them to fit my feet well. I loved the look and they seemed comfortable in my test run on carpet in the house. I could not adjust them to “hug” the width of my feet and I did not like the look of the gaps.

I had high hopes for these! They're cute and supportive, but way too wide. My foot is on the narrow side of medium and they were swimming in these. The leather straps left way too much room and my foot slid around substantially.

I have a very skinny foot, there just isn't much on the top, so I think that's why these were so large. Even I had taken them to the cobbler for extra holes punched on the straps, I still don't think they would have worked. Cute style though.

Wanted to love these, they were cute and comfortable except for the top edge of the buckle. It dug into my ankle in a very uncomfortable way and I had to return them. They feel a little on the big side so if you have feet that tend to swell you will probably like them.

Order up if you wear a 1/2 size. Straps are too loose on the top and are not adjustable

I wish these fit me as the arch support and quality are excellent. I typically wear a 7.5/38 and the 8s were HUGE while the 7s were a bit too small. I would say size down if you wear a half size but sadly neither worked for me.

Loved the overall look of this sandal. I’m in need of some arch support and was really excited to get these. However, the strap at the inside heel was rubbing. I wore around the house for almost an hour hoping it may get better but in the end I continually noticed the rubbing and am concerned after a long walk it would blister so I am returning.

I wanted these shoes to fit so bad but I have slender feet. They were way too loose over the top of my foot. I wish they had an adjustable strap but if you have a slightly more slender/narrow foot they will not work for you. These would be amazing shoes if the straps were more adjustable.

I wish Chaco offered shoes in half sizes. I wear size 8-1/2 but sized down to an 8, which usually fits fine in a sandal but was too small in this case. I probably should've exchanged for a 9 but kept the 8's. While more supportive than most sandals, the Wayfarer was nowhere near as supportive as the traditional webbing Chacos. The sole was thinner than it looked online, and I could feel the pavement beneath my feet. There was not as much arch support as I'm used to in Chacos. I would not want to walk more than a short distance in these shoes . . . but after all, they're probably not made for hiking. I got the gray color, which is a nice change from black. Scuff marks showed up quickly, though. Overall, this is a nice sandal for when you want something a little bit more dressy than traditional Chacos or Birkenstocks, but I probably wouldn't buy them again because they didn't have the Chaco feel I was expecting.

Beautiful shoe but ran big! I would order a size down.

Wanted to love this shoe but was very disappointed. So excited to get a leather pair of chacos since I love my others so much. The leather was so stiff and not comfortable at all. I couldn’t have worn these anywhere without rubbing my feet horribly. Sad to have sent these back.
