i like these! these are basically flip flops with some added interest, so they move around on your foot the same way. now, i live in Vionic flip flops all summer, so these are just an extra attractive version of what i'm already wearing. if you don't like flip flops or how they move, you won't like these. they do not fit close to the foot like regular sandals and trying to make them by tightening the strap will be uncomfortable AND unsuccessful.

I love this sandal, however, when it arrived, I went to put it on and the keeper that holds the strap in place came right off. I didn't even touch it, so this is a design flaw. Other than that, they are extremely comfortable.

I really wanted to love these - big fan of other Vionic products. Just could not get the fit to work. My other Vionic sandals are all size 8 and I have a very slim non-fleshy foot - most sandals and straps on shoes leave a fair amount of space underneath between the strap and the top of my foot. Also, in the other Vionic sandals that I have there always seems to be an awful lot of shoe exposed around the foot - they look sort of big and clunky so I decided to size down to 7.5 this time. When I put them on and walk the toes come up to the edge in the front and one even extends over a bit - yet there is a lot of room in the back of the foot at the heel. The straps are comfortable to loose as is so going up to the size 8 would not work. Sandly, these have to be returned. I ordered it not totally in love with the style either but looking for comfort and liked the idea of one soft piece of leather at top so nothing to cut the foot - however, did not love the beige footbed either - wanted a more dressy look and the whole thing should be done in black.

Fit was true to size, however the front came too far up and cut into front of my ankle when walking causing it to pull on the straps.

First of all, Vionic shoes have very different sizing, I figured out that they are true to their cm measurement. I simply measured my feet with a ruler and figured that I am 24.5 cm which is in Vionic language is size 8 (in all other brands I am 8,5). So for that measurement in regular width, they fit wide enough to be comfy, even wiggly, though the hight from the sole to the top of a sandal is right on the edge. If it was slightly smaller it would be uncomfortable. And my hight is affected of course by archness. I guess I got lucky with size, but I saw some negative reviews. I can't say that the quality is a $100 shoe quality, but they really comfortable for many hours of walk during the hot summer. Those were my go-to shoes on the trip to Mexico and walking on all those excursions, they survived and waiting for the next season.

Nice, comfortable sandal for everyday use, could be dressed up or down.

I like these sandals. Definitely has more arch support than most flats. I usually wear 6.5 and have a somewhat regular width "skinny" feet and the sandals are a little lose on the top portion. I am glad I read the reviews and bought a half size smaller. I bought a size 6 and it fits nicely. The inside strap has a little piece of elastic band (white color) which should help if you need a little more room. In my case, it did not help me but I can see that being helpful if one suffers from swollen feet, like my mom.

I really like them, but they can’t be adjusted very much. A half size smaller probably would’ve fit better.

These sandals are super cute and have great arch support! Like my other pair of Vionics, I feel like I could walk for miles in these! My only complain is the strap between my toes; the leather portion starts in between my toes and it's a little wide. Hoping this becomes more comfortable as I wear them in.

Beautiful sandal but runs narrow.

Crazy comfy. Took a gamble and got the wide since they were out of the reg. Actually liked the width. But the shoe felt long. I would've gone a half size smaller. Super cute too.

I find most vionic styles run a half size large, and these are consistent...I'm normally a 6.5 and got these in a 6. That would have been perfect, except the ankle straps are a bit loose, even on the smallest buckle hole, so they flopped around a bit. Still, the footbed is very comfortable, and I would have kept them if they came in a nude/light tan color or gold metallic, but sadly, they don't come in a solid neutral, and I don't care for the reptile print. Bottom line, tylically comfy vionic style but not quite right for me.

Love the style of this shoe, but found that the very open (pretty!) thong construction allowed them to move around too much when I put them on. They are very nice, but don't think I'd be comfortable in them over the long run. It's a shame because they are really, really attractive. Love my Vionics, but need a bit more strap.

As all the reviews indicated the sandal runs large. I got it right the second time. It’s well made for a hardly there sandle. I had a painful hammer toe and until the inflammation goes down this is all I can wear. It’s comfortable although I don’t like things in between my toes. Well made. Glad I bought it.

Wore these shoes all over italy and greece - very comfortable! I am a size 6 and based on reviews, I ordered a full size smaller, size 5, which fit perfectly. Definitely recommend ordering a smaller size. Also, the strap buckle is flimsy so I would use it carefully. Mine are still intact but I can see why some reviews mentioned that it broke.

I have a wide foot and have trouble finding shoes. I bought these for a summer vacation and was really pleased. I usually wear a 7 - 7.5 W. In these shoes the smaller size fit better. I wore them on a walking tour and was comfortable the entire time.

I love how they look, but it felt like they would fall off my feet. It's perfect if you won't be walking much, but want to look stylish.

The issue is the sandal fit well, I am a 6.5-7 in sandals but the strap was extremely loose, even when I adjusted to first hole, so they did not feel secure. Style is cute, sole has alot of arch support like all Vionic.

First order was for the 7 1/2 and an 8. I usually wear an 8 in most shoes, sometimes 8 1/2 in golf shoes and in Jambu brand. I have a pair of Vionic Tide sandels, which I had to get in a 7. The 8 footbed here was right, but the straps on the left sandel were very loose, causing my foot to slip around. Right sandel fit was good. So I sent both back (Zappos makes this very easy to do!) and reordered another pair of 8s. They came the next day and were perfect! I think this brand has some problems with consistency and quality control, but when you get the right fit, it is a very supportive shoe. I have arthritis in my knees and feet, but can shop, run errands, out to lunch, bridge, etc. with no problems in these. This style is versatile, great with shorts, capris, skirts and casual dresses.

Would have loved to keep these but was concerned because the holes for the buckle closure were not straight on the strap and very close to the edge. Was concerned through wear they would rip through. For me the style didn’t work, but i love Vionic.

REturning for a smaller size

Can I just say that I feel like Wonder Woman when I wear these? L.O.V.E. the style, the leather is buttery soft and the company took major pains to make sure the metal pieces (connecting rings and studs) weren't scratched during shipment. That said, these are the biggest sandals I've ever encountered. I almost always wear a wide (usu. 9.5W), but the 9Ws were gigantic! Even these 9Ms that I'm keeping -- b/c I love the way they look and I'm tired of finding a pair of sandals for my new dress -- are not snug at all, so I feel a little loosey-goosey in them. (There's extra space above my foot. Maybe the thong that goes between your toes is too long? I'm not sure how else to describe it.) And even that wouldn't be a problem if they were at a cheaper price point. Definitely size DOWN (as instructed) if you wear half sizes. They're cute, cool and make me feel a little bada$$.

Very cute and super comfortable. I love the Vionic sole, your feet just feel like they melt into it! I wear a 9.5 and ordered that size. They upper did feel a little bit loose but I am not sure that a half size down would have been large enough with respect to the sole. I got them in black. I do wish that the sole was the same color as the upper. I ended up returning them due to both the sizing issue and the light-colored sole made them a little more casual in appearance than what I was looking for. However, I would have happily kept them if I was budgeting for a second pair of black sandals!

Cute style but dissappointed that the buckle was so small and in an awkward position--also the buckle felt flimsy... Usually vionic hits a home run but not this time!
