Great boots have worn them for work not clunky in appearance. Have a narrow foot double-A they fit like a glove. Comfort and warm Luv the red shoe laces. Been wearing them for a month and will be buying a 2nd pair in black. Quality workmanship.

I liked everything about the boot, but I am looking for something with a stiffer sole. These are substantial shoes, but not as heavy duty as some of their other boots. Would be great work shoes, or for walking or light hiking.

These boots replace a pair that I bought about 18 years ago and have loved all these years. These are really good-looking boots and are comfortable. I did order 1/2 size larger than I wear in dress shoes to accommodate thick socks.

Purchased these boots with anti fatigue technology since I am on my feet all day. Boots are true to size and so far no sore feet or heels at the end of the day! Good price and comfort! 5 star!

This boot is true to size, Feels super comfortable, It looks and feels high quality. I haven't gone hiking in them yet, can't wait to try them out. Am in Hawaii so I need a boot to perform well in the mud.

Love these!! Purchased these to wear to work. I work in a lumber yard so I’m out side and inside in all kinds of weather, these are perfect, they keep my feet warm and dry. They are so comfortable after wearing for 10 hours.

This is an update on my previous review. When I first put these boots on they were tight and really uncomfortable. After wearing them for about 30 minutes I started to feel like they were breaking in or stretching out. I wore them all day and they were actually comfortable. The boot just needs to be broken in. I have bought several pairs of timberland boots all different styles and this was the only pair that fit tight upon first wearing. They fit great after wearing them for a day.

I bought Mt Maddsen Summer boots in a women's US7 (EU38) because I take this size in most sneakers and hiking boots. However, my foot measurement from heel (against a wall) to longest toe is 23cm, which according to the Timberland size chart would only be a size 6.
These felt quite snug to begin with (although not too tight) and have loosened up with wear. I wear these daily walking around my home town, for short hikes, and for climbing over rocks at the beach. I love them so much I even wear them to work with dresses in the 'cooler' months (ie Australia).
I suffer from sore shins if I wear shoes which are too heavy. I have found the Mt Maddsen boot to be very light on the foot. The amount of cushioning is lovely, and I find them very comfortable.
I usually have to wear metatarsal raises in my shoes to prevent pain in the middle of the soles of my feet, but haven't got them in these shoes yet - and I spent about 14 hours on my feet one day with a couple of brief stops for lunch/dinner, etc. and my feet still felt great without the metatarsal raises!
The quality of these boots is impressive compared to other brands I have worn. The leather appears to be a good thickness, and the support and cushioning is excellent. The grip of the soles is very good and they feel very stable.
Lastly I note that these are about one stud shorter in ankle length than boots I have had in the past, and I actually find that this makes them more comfortable for me without compromising on support of the ankle. I even suspect that the lower height of the boot might be helping to prevent sore shins, but I haven't confirmed with my podiatrist whether this is correct; it is merely my observation.
I will definitely be buying these again in the future, and now I won't buy any hiking boot that isn't Timberland brand.

I love these boots. I originally ordered up a size as other reviewers recommended, but they were too large. I quickly exchanged them for my regular size and they are perfect!

I bought these boots for my trip to Iceland and they were perfect. I've never owned hiking boots and had a hard time finding boots that would fit and be comfortable. These boots were stylish, comfortable and didn't even require breaking in. Most importantly, the boots were completely waterproof and kept my feet dry while in the waterfalls. I also climbed on uneven sand, hills, rocks, and ice glaciers. The shoes protected my ankles and had good traction. However, I normally wear a 10 and had to go up to a 11 since they run a little small. I would highly recommend these!!!

Very comfortable pair of boots. I bought it to go hiking and when we went to Shasta I ended up using it to play at the snow as well. These pair of boots keep me warm and dry the whole time.
