Love this shoe would be greater if it came in larger widths. Gave it two stars for this reason. Please release!

These are not like previous 574's i've owned, i've owned many. The tongue has no filling and always slides to the sides. The shoe also pops with every step I take, very odd?

I think they changed something with this shoe. I actually bled for the first time. Also, the red in the image isn't the red in the shoe.. the actual shoe is reddish purple

The upper on this shoe is really hard. You want an uncomfortable shoe? Buy this, hits all the mark. The 237's are far way better.

Disappointing specially the color and quality Not new balancy

I have worn New Balance women's size 8.5 for years. I purchased these unisex shoes using the sizing guidelines that say M7/W8.5. Nope! These shoes fit my mom, who wears a 7.5. When I complained to New Balance, I was simply told that the size hasn't changed and that the shoes would stretch. I went on and purchased the New Balance 574 Core (only women's, not unisex), size W8.5. Those shoes fit like a dream! New Balance: please take your loyal customers seriously when we tell you something is wrong. We're not dingbats and we know our feet!

I will keep these because i need them for work but the back colored part on the heel has worn color look. If I could complain to customer service i would simply like a discount

I returned the shoes because they were not colored as described.

I've worn New Balances for years without any durability issues, but my most recent pair of 574s fell apart in just seven months of regular use. All I do is walk in these shoes--I have different footwear for running, hiking, etc.--and yet, one of the outer seams on these has split wide open, basically from top to bottom, simply from normal wear and tear. This strikes me as evidence of a meaningful decline in the quality of materials, stitching, etc. that are used in these shoes. Perhaps it was just an idiosyncratic quality assurance failure--I don't know--but I do know that I'll be buying my next pair of shoes elsewhere.

Love the look of the shoe, but sizing was way off. I wear a 9.5, this shoe was easily a 8.5. Buy up a size.

Sizes run small, Buy at least a half size larger than usual.

Almost sprained my ankle in these shoes when I was walking.. a walk smh

I have been a New Balance customer for many years now and the main reason, other than quality and style that I buy them, is because the advertise their product as MADE IN THE UNTIED STATES. Well the pair sent to me by New Balance slesrly states it was made in Viet Nam! There was no verbiage on the web site that indicated the product was foreign made and a customer has every right to conclude they were of U.S. origin. Classic bait and switch!!!

The size is the same but the fit is different than my other New Balance shoes.

So the image in this review is not the correct shoe but the last 2 times I have ordered from New Balance I have gotten an "irregular" size. This last pair actually even had 2 "x"s on the bottom in silver paint pen on the toes that I presume is a mark to state it's not a regular shoe. Very disappointed in New Balance at the moment as I tend to order a pair about every 3 months.

No lateral support, extreme pain to the ankles. But nice looking.
