I got my 574s for Christmas and I have to say I was disappointed. First of all, they were too small. I ordered my usual size but I guess New Balance fits half a size smaller than Nike. Secondly, they didn't look the same as I pictured them, seemed a bit cheaper in quality than I expected and not 100% what I was looking for. I have to say they were comfortable walking around in though.

First time in a long time that I have bought a pair of sneakers and been disappointed especially from New Balance. The classic look of these caught my attention and the colors go with about everything. However trying these on they had a different feel from the more higher end shoes. After wearing them about four hours indoors during a party I was ready to take them off! Lucky me to be at home where I could change shoes.

These are some decent, stylish shoes, but I don’t think they’ll hold up very well. The quality of the build seems a little subpar. Still, I’ll enjoy them while they last!

After wearing 950v5 which was great and comfy I decided to try classics. Since 950 was a bit loose I went with .5 less size. And they turned out to be so tight that I cannot wear them.
And they feel so cheap. It is understandable considering the price. But I would pay more and not get that "cheapo" feeling.

I've been a New Balance customer for a couple of decades. They're my go to casual/athletic shoe company. I've been a size 9.5 forever. While I love the look of the 574, I can barely squeeze my foot in. The heal is sloped toward the toes more than any other shoe I've owned, forcing my foot into the toe box. The toe box gives me no room to move. Unfortunately, they're going back.

The shoes do not have enough cushion in the bottom. I will buy cushioned inserts to make them more comfortable. I've been wearing the NB 990 series for years , and I expected these to be like them. I'm a little disappointed.

I normally order a 2E width (or equivalent) and did the same with these shoes and they were EXTREMELY narrow. Even after loosening the laces as much as reasonable, these shoes were still squeezing my feet.

For a wide shoes they were still pretty narrow and I would describe the fit as snug even after wearing them for a while. I don't feel like they have as much support as other New Balance shoes. I probably would not buy again.

They're light weight and nice but mine were poorly made. The sides of the leather are ripped and I've had them for maybe 2 months. The annoying thing is it is both of the shoes.

The pair I received were considerably smaller than the size they were supposed to be. There was also something wrong in the construction of the right shoesomething in the toe.
Hoping they'll send me a new pair, half size larger. Still really want them.

I've worn New Balance 990s forever and thought I'd try the 574 for casual wear. Unfortunately the 574, even in my normal 4E, was too narrow. After trying my usual size and a half size larger, I gave up. Too bad. It's a nice looking shoe.

I usually wear a 14 2E in New Balance shoes. However, this shoe was offered was only offered in 4E. They are still too narrow for me. I'll need to return them.
