Great classic style that works for me. The color combo is great. Thanks, Zappos, for always having a stock of classic sneakers in stock. The NB 574 follows a great line of NB classic sneakers that have worked for me and my exceptionally hard to fit feet that have arches that are both high and not centered were most people's arches are located. On the other hand, I found the NB 501s a perfect fit for me, especially the wide round shoe box and narrower heal box. The NB 515s were a just a smidge shorter and the build quality a bit poorer than the 501s. The current NB 574 are even a bit shorter than the 515s and the build quality is poorer than the 515s. I do hope NB continues to make this classic round toe type sneaker, but overall, the NB's sizing is no longer consistent, and the build quality just keeps getting poorer. Back in 1980 a NB size 8 fit me perfectly, but 20 years later the NB sizing changed such that a 8.5 also fit me. NB's sizing is trending now such that I suspect that in another couple years that its size 9 will become my default size. By the way, the NB sizing guide is the same as it was in 1980 and now is terribly unreliable. My feet are truly the same 25 CM (9.8 inch) length they were in 1980, so theoretically, a NB size 8 shoe fit me comfortably.

This is a well made shoe. New Balance fit my foot the best out of all the shoe brands. I bought these because we were going to Disney on a family vacation. They quickly became my everyday pair. Fit is true to size

I mainly wear the 574 Classic to work. I walk on concrete/asphalt all day and the shoe has never failed me. Whenever it gets starts to get wear and the insert starts wearing I insert a Dr Schollls insert and keep walking. Great, reliable shoe.

Short of a situation where dress shoes/loafers are required this shoe works for literally everything. My biggest issue is that I forget to baby my newer pairs and they get dirty/stained before they come close to wearing out.
