This shoe ran 1/2 size too large. Returned the 8 1/2 and just received the size 8. The fit is much better. I had to add an orthodontic insole to make the arch and tie bed feel comfortable. So far all is fine

I love the support of this sneaker, but I feel as I should have ordered a half size smaller.

The shoes are pretty comfortable, I used the HOka size finder and ordered what it suggested, but they feel a bit too big

I work 12 hour nights and have painful feet. (Concrete floors took a toll...) The Cavu is very light weight, I was shocked at how light they are! The toe box is nice and roomy. So far I like them, but I will probably have to put orthotics in even though these have been comfortable without them! Pretty cushiony and flexible. What I really love is the sides don't have any stitching, this is very important for me because I had (have) a bunionette and have had 2 surgeries but the side of my feet are super tender still, so the Cavu are fantastic in that arena!

I think I like the Cavu. I rotate my Hokas from a 4mm drop to 5mm drop fro running, so Tracers and Hupana were my shoes of choice. Love them both. The Cavu are lighter than the Tracers so I was all about trying them out. The Cavu seem to run long, I wish I had read the reviews I would have 1/2 sized down like some other recommended, but on the run they felt fine so I guess it is ok. They didn't have that feel of a bran new Hoka, soft and slipper-like, which disappointed me. First run out with them (8 miles) went well with no issues, so overall they work well. Just miss that Aaahhhhh.. new Hoka feel. Not sure I would get them again.

I like them. They are not as bouncy soft as my previous Hokas. But they are comfortable. Also they are long. If I had tried them on at a store I would have tried a size smaller. But they don't slip so they are ok. But the 7.5 is like an 8 in length.

I ran a half marathon in these 3 days after buying them (had worn them on shorter runs and during Crossfit workouts in interim - didn't run *completely* unbroken-in!) and they were awesome! They're super light and felt good for all 13.1 miles. The sole is just stiff enough that they work well for burpees and squats, too! They're not the sexiest shoes out there, but during a run, I don't care. I'm not going to wear them to run errands around town, though. I'm not a huge fan of sprinting in them, as they're a little wide and hoofish, but on longer runs, they're fabulous.

I have been wearing Cavu's for the last few years. I purchased the Cavu 2 and found them different and they made my knee/ankle hurt. Went back to the original. I just put these on after thoroughly enjoying my last pair and these have made my hip flexor hurt. Not sure if that is me or the shoe. Normally when putting on a new pair of the same shoes I just lace up and go. These are making me rather frustrated.

I wanted to love this shoe. But, I don't know whether it was because it felt so big for the size or it just didn't have a lot of arch support regardless of how big it was. I did not want to re-order To find out. So because of the pain that you gave me, I ended up going with a bondi 6.

I purchased my first pair of wms size 5. I loved them so much I ordered a second pair in a different color the next week. The second pair feels a half size too big in the upper. I loved the first and I'm settling with the second. I guess I'll have to wear thick socks. Bummer.

I use the Cavu for casual every day wear. It's a cute shoe, but feels tight on top of toes. Not much wiggle room.

My favorites are the Women's Arahi 2s, but I just can't seem to find these discontinued shoes anymore in my size (9); oh well. So, I decided I would try another style. When I put these shoes on, they felt marvelously comfortable. I am a treadmill runner, running around 90 min per day, 7 days per week. I had a problem with the Cavu that I never had with another Hoka One One shoe: the rubber (or whatever) on the sole GRABBED the rubber on the treadmill, making me stumble. Never had a similar problem with a Hoka One One shoe. Just in case I thought it was ME, I tried them several different days and the same thing happened. So, these are no longer running shoes for me. Too dangerous!

I'm not sure wh, but the pair I received had a snag in the shoe laces. I wore them for the first time at Barrys Bootcamp and tripped on the treadmill three times because it was too big. I am a true 6.5, and my speedgoat2 fit great.

I was super excited to try these shoes that I have been hearing a lot about but sadly there wasn't enough space in the toe area. It wasn't about feeling too narrow but it tapered too much toward the front of the toe box not allowing enough space for the toes to be comfortable. Returning, I will try another style in this brand.

Thanks's for getting them to me so quickly, sorry, I ordered the wrong size, don't know what I was thinking...I love my Clifton's the best, however, the Cavu's are good too. I'm having lots of issues with my feet and need more support and cushion, therefore I do use an additonal arch support with my shoes. You guys/girls are great thought, I think alot about your company, great customer service and dedication to your product! Sincerely, Sabine!

Heard good things about this brand but was disappointed as they felt a tad narrow but hurt my arch just walking around house for 10 mins.

I love Hoka and now have had over 5 pair of them. I wanted to try a lighter shoe but this shoe had no arch support and actually felt flimsy. They looked great and I really liked the colors but for jogging and working out they are not durable enough.

I did not keep this shoe as the arched padded part of the shoe below my ankle bone rubbed the bottom of my ankles on the outside of my foot. There was enough pressure that it bothered me. I have NEVER had this be a problem before and my ankles are as normal as any other person's! I was afraid they would cause an irritation. Liked the rest of the fit and the lightweight aspect of the the sneaker and the support they provided as I am on my feet most of the day but I could not take a chance.

I’ve run in the Cliftons for years and it appears they are no longer made so I thought this would be a good replacement. They are really cute shoes so I was hoping they would work, but for me they are just too different from the Clifton’s. I loved the cushion of the Clifton’s and this is not as pillowy. For me, each step felt too jarring so they are going back. Oh well. Cute shoe and I’m sure a good fit for someone looking for a little less cushion.

I have worn Cliftons 1, 2 and 3. I love them and decided I would try out the CAVU. I just ran a half marathon this weekend and the bottom of my right foot felt like it was going to have a blister on it after mile 9. I am still trying to decide if I like these or will go back to wearing the Clifton.
