I loved, loved the early versions of the Foundation 12. The shoe was so supportive, had a thick sole, a substantial amount of cushioning and a wide toe box. Perfect shoe for a severe pronator who also needed the room in the front of the shoe. I ordered subsequent 12's and was surprised that they were already getting narrower and harder. I then tried the 13's and they were a completely different shoe. Seemed like a cheaped down version, with a hard, thinner sole and a narrower toe box. Returned them. (BTW, I also had one of the earliest versions of the Foundation many years back and they were great. Always considered this shoe to be high quality until now.)
