My first pair of Asics - i did a lot of research prior to purchasing to try to land on the right pair, size, etc. I purchased the 8W in the GEL-FOundation 13 and am happy to say THESE ARE A DREAM! Have had such a hard time finding good workout shoes (all shoes actually, lately) because i have a wider foot, high arches and bunion on the left foot. These fit great, out of the box, excellent support and when i wear them i don't feel foot pain. Just bought a second pair, one for gym and one for everyday wear. Happy Girl!

I ordered these to combat issues with bunions and pronation. So far they feel great. They are firm in support, not hard but not too squishy. I feel good wearing and can wear all day long and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. I highly recommend. The shoelaces are old fashioned type ( not the cord) and stay tied well.

I have hard to fit (12-W) feet and this shoe was comfy right out of the box!

I love this shoe so far. Very comfortable. No break in time at all. I put too narrow because I wear narrow and this is a medium width and my fit is fine. ASICS tend to run short for me, so I usually order up.

Great shoe for wide feet.

I ordered these in an 11, like my last pair of Brooks but they slipped in the heel. So I think they are true to size. I wear a 10 street shoe and I really needed a 10.5 in these. They are wide in the toe box, which I find very comfortable. I got navy with some pink on the bottom. They are not stylish, but I wear them only to walk. I think the cushioning is good and stable.

Really comfortable pair of shoes. I have wide feet and they fit great. I wish they would come in more colors.

I have wide feet and always struggle finding a women's shoe that is wide enough in the middle (under the arch) as well as in the ball. The Foundation 13 is wide enough under my arch, so my entire foot is supported by the sole instead of having my arch hang over the edge, supported only by the fabric of the shoe's upper. The normal width was also great for me, whereas I sometimes need a wide in other shoes. My normal sizing was perfect.

My 12 year old granddaughter wears a size 12 tennis shoe and has narrow feet. She loves these shoes. Comfortable yet quite trendy. She has flat feet and they seem to help.

I love this shoe and will be ordering again!

They're super cute and comfortable, the wide width feels wide enough. However, the color is a bit brighter than in the photo. They're a little closer to sapphire blue than to navy in my opinion.

I liked this shoe but chose Saucony instead based on suede upper material that will not allow sand in.

These shoes were nice - although it does run a little narrow. If you're in-between sizes, recommend to size up. I felt it had good stability and moderate cushioning, but decided to go with the ASICS GT 1000-6 instead. Nice looking shoe though! Zappos, thank you so much for your most excellent customer service and return policy...you ROCK!!!

I ordered a 9.5 W and these were true to size and width. Plenty of Cushioning and with the very top eyelet laced my heels didn't slip. But my fussy flat feet just didn't like the arch support, even with my own Aetrex insoles :(

Too narrow. I have a wide foot.

I feel like this style runs overall bigger than a similar ASICS gel shoe.

I need a walking shoe that can support my severe overpronation. This one is very cushy and comfortable, with lots of wiggle room in the toes. Sadly, there was not enough motion control for my needs, but I bet this would work for lots of people. I ordered these thinking they'd make my feet look smaller than my normal, giant white motion control walking shoes, but somehow, the wide forefront and white bottoms made my size 11 feet look even bigger!

I tried these on and wanted to purchase. I have worn Brooks Addiction for a decade but the last 2 pairs I bought did not fit at all, no idea what they did... The fit was great 10W, same size as the Brooks Addiction. Unfortunately, a seam hit my right baby toe and rubbed exactly on the wrong spot. But if you little toe doesn't stick out a bit then I would suggest you try them.

I ordered a half size larger based on other reviews and it is just right for length. This shoe has amazing stability and has extra volume room for larger feet. I have a wide forefoot and narrower heel, so at first the shoe felt too roomy. But another day I tried it with heavier socks and tied it tighter and it was great. The comfort outweighs the need to purchase thicker socks. Thinking of buying another pair of these if I still feel the same after a few weeks.

I love the way these fit!!! Plenty of room as far as width for a size D. I wasn't quite sure about the color because I'm not a blue person, but they are a nice Navy color. They are so comfortable and have the best inserts and arch support.
