larger toe box than older styles.

I wear an 8.5 and the fit was perfect. Shoe is comfortable and I am well pleased.

These replaced another pair of Gel-Foundations from last season. I was concerned these might not fit as well but they are perfect! I alternate running in these and Gel Kayanos, these are a bit heavier and wider but offer a little more stability.

I have worn ASICS for 10+ years. I get a 9w due to sock liners but wear 8w typically. Perfect fit for me. So comfortable as usual! No blisters ever!

I over-pronate and these shoes are amazing. They're extremely supportive and fit really well - I have not wanted to take them off.

I love these shoes! I am on my second pair - I do a lot of cross training in my workouts and these shoes work perfectly and they have a good deal of toe room as I wear socks with a bit of extra padding as a result of foot surgery several years ago. They provide adequate support and the perfect amount of cushioning as well when running on treadmill or outside. I would probably by a third pair because they fit so well. Pretty durable too.

The fit was true to size, the package arrived on time and in GREAT condition. My sneakers are cute and I will be ordering again on my next payday. Thanks Zappos ! Love you guys ??

This was one of the sneakers recommended by my physical therapist for my low arches and overpronation. They call it a "motion control" shoe. The insoles that come with the shoes are pretty thick, so I was able to insert my own full support Superfeet orthotics with no problem. At the store, I measured as an 8 wide, so that's what I ordered, and it fits pretty well. I also like how the color is subtle on this one.

Very comfortable right out the box.

I always order a half a size larger in running shoes and these fit perfectly in doing just that! I have had bunion surgeries and still have a very wide toe box. The wide was a good fit for this. The heel is a little tight and rubber on my inner ankle but I think once they are broken in, they'll be perfect!

These shoes were just not made for my feet. I wear a 9.5 wide and they felt tight. I have flat feet and a narrow heel and it’s very difficult for me to find a comfy shoe. So, I can’t blame that all on the shoes. I really wanted a pair of Asics gel, but just didn’t work.

I have finally found the perfect pair of shoes! I run and walk with my dogs every morning and was starting to have knee pain. I also have pretty flat feet from standing all day for work. These shoes have stopped my knee pain and have excellent arch support. I like my running shoes a little bigger so they are roomier in the toe, so I ordered a 7, usually wear a 6.5. Fit is perfect. Can’t recommend enough!

I really like the look of these shoes and they felt high-quallity to me. I did end up returning though, becaue they were just too small. I ordered my usual size but they were too tight. I would buy again but at least a half size larger

Just felt narrow on my wide feet. I ordered my size in a sneaker and it felt too tight and rigid. It was hard to get on without a shoe horn. Not for me.

I've done two (short) runs int these shoes and so far I love them. I don't usually buy motion-control shoes, but felt like my last pair didn't quite have the support I needed, and these feel great. Very sturdy shoe - makes me feel secure running outdoors in the winter - without being heavy or too bulky. And as someone who doesn't love the highlighter colors of most women's running shoes, I love this dark indigo color - already gotten compliments on it, too.

I have been searching for a shoe that had a toe box a little wider. Took a chance on these even though my last pair of ASICS were a little narrow for me. This shoe was perfect and comfortable right out of the box. Wasn’t sure about the navy color, but I really like it a lot.

Based on some of the other reviews, I was worried the toe box would be too narrow but there is plenty of room! The shoes fit great and feel wonderful, everything I've come to expect from my many years of purchasing and running in asics gel foundation shoes.

The shoes were comfortable and provided me the extra support for my over pronation.

Very comfortable right out of the box. I’ve had plantar fasciitis in the past and these shoes work to heal it. These are the best walking shoes I’ve worn to date.

Had to wear the shoes for a few days before they became flexible enough for my foot, but now that they are "broken in", I love them and they are my go-to pair for comfort and support.

Ordered an 8 wide and fits very well. Roomy in the toe box (fits bunions without pain!) and very stylish!

These are really cute and comfortable to work out in. They do feel a little bigger than a 9 though (not significant enough to send back/get a smaller size though).

I've had many pairs of running shoes over the years, but this shoe has been the best I have worn so far. I have very flat feet and severely over pronate. These shoes have been perfect and so supportive. And the toe box room in this shoe is amazing. I finally found my go-to running shoes!

A podiatrist recommended these shoes to me after I had surgery to repair a fractured metatarsal and needed good arch support and a thick sole. The GEL-Foundation 13 was the perfect shoe for comfort and stability. They are wide enough to easily fit a custom orthotic insert. These shoes were the only thing I could comfortably wear for months after my surgery. This model is wider and not as sleek looking as the other Asics I've worn for years, but it's excellent for support. I only wish that it came in more colors!
