I needed a nice sneaker for travel and sightseeing. These will look cute with leggings, jeans and dresses. The arch support and footbed are good, but the heel slips up and down.

I am keeping these, in my usual size, because they are so darned cute. My only hesitation, to be tested when I walk more in them, is that the toe box is relatively shallow, so if you have any hammer toes or one longer big toe, like I do, that might be an issue. Also, I have a narrow foot, and the medium is "just barely" sufficient, so if you like the lacing narrow and tight, go for the wide.

I chose this shoe over others similar styles because of the great reviews about its arch support. True it is made well, however, I found it to be rather stiff and heavy for a casual canvas shoe. Loved the washed grey color, but sadly had to return them for a lighter weight style. As always, Zappos service is A#1

I was disappointed that the shoes felt more narrow than expected for a Wide width. I did go up a 1/2 size as recommended by some. Wasn't willing to risk they might not break in well so took a pass. Cute shoe, though.

I ordered a half size up based on reviews, but the shoes are too big for me. Also, there are very stiff and not quite wide enough for my problem feet. Back they go.

Sorry Taos but these are not comfortable. Cute, yes. But comfortable, no. Nice wide toe box but too stiff making them Uncomfortable while walking.

Shoe bit into my heel

Cute shoes, for was fine. But the soles were very stiff - I prefer a more bendable feel .

The shoe was surprisingly heavy. It was a little too long -- I ordered a 7 based on other reviews, but I don't think a 6.5 would have worked either. I loved the color and style, but I didn't like how heavy they felt and they were about a thumb's width too long.

Hoped the wide size would give enough room in the toebox but it seemed to mostly make the heel wider

The heel pad was seamed and bulky and rubbed on my heal. It would not slip on without collasping the back.

This is my second Plim Soul order. The first was too narrow and returned. There was not a wide in the color I had selected, red, so ordered another color, double blue, in wide. They are a nice looking shoe, are well constructed, and have nice arch support, but the same is true with the wide as with the regular width - bottom of the shoe is flat, stiff, not very cushioning, clunky, kind of slaps the ground rather than allowing the foot to roll when walking. Would not be a good travel shoe, would not be comfortable to wear for any length of time or to walk in for a long distance. Not sure how they would be for standing long periods of time. Still debating if I'll keep them, or not

I loved the look of these shoes. The arch support was good for my feet, unfortunately the seams along the top of the shoes cut into my feet and rubbed blisters on my bunions. If you have large bunions I don’t recommend these shoes. I wasted a lot of money on shoes I will never wear again.

I wanted to love these cute sneakers, but they didn't live up to my expectations. I bought these because I've read that Taos brand has excellent arch support. While they do give some arch support, I found the overall shoe bed to be too rigid to be comfortable. There's not a lot of flexibility, or cushioning in these shoes.

These are very cute heavy shoes. I wear a 9.5 M in most shoes and ordered a size 10 in theses after reading reviews. They were too short but very cute. Ordered size 10.5 in 4 colors. The black were way too short. The red ones and the blue ones were a little short. The white ones were way too big. These were all a size 10.5! Pretty hard to find your size with this much variation within one size. Ordered the next size up and and still trying to decide. They’re so cute I’d really like a pair but don’t know if this size will work out yet. They have a removable orthotic sole that is quite beefy. Not sure if it’s best for me. I’m so glad Zappos is so good about returns. I’d never find a pair of shoes without them.

These are adorable, but too snug on my wide feet with bunions, even though I ordered a half size up in wide.

Although these are super cute and I ordered them 1/2 size larger they are still about a 1/2 size too small in length and my big toe was squished against the front of the sneaker. the footbed seemed just ok, not terribly supportive. They are going back.

This shoe didn't fit me well. I have a narrow heel and the shoe slipped in and out. They had to go back. Cute but didn't work for me.

The arch support would have been good, but it hits in the wrong spot on my foot. I had to return.

I wanted to love this shoe, but it slipped on the heel for me, so have to return them. The arch support was great and I loved the look and comfort but I'm afraid I'll get blisters on the back of my heels.

These are really cute sneakers, but they are just a little snug, a little heavy weighted and didn't like the way they looked on me. This is the 3rd different style of Taos sneakers that I've tried. So moving on to another brand. These are very cute sneakers and I would recommend them, just not for me.

These shoes felt very nice on the feet with good support, but the heels are a little wide and slipped up and down on my foot, which then pulled my socks down. I knew that would drive me crazy and I had to return them.

I liked the shoes. They were cute and fit nicely. They have substantial arch support - not much for the ball of the foot, but the arches were great. I didn't feel the need to use my custom orthotics in these shoes. However, the back of the heel was stiff and rubbed on the top of my heel where it bends at the ankle. There are some brands that understand once you bend at the heel, there should be a dip in the back of the shoe to accommodate, but this shoe did not have that. Sad because the shoe was sturdy and stylish for my needs.

So I ordered both a 71/2 and an 8 because of reviews, etc. The platform itself (length) of the 71/2 seems good to me BUT the width of Taos sneakers seem to run this side of narrow, maybe because of the insert? I don't know. The size 8 works width wise but I have to lace these very cute sneakers up pretty tightly. As far as platform heights go it is fairly minimal however I really do like the look. Returned the 7 1/2, kept the 8. Not the most perfect fit for my foot but I do like them, nevertheless.

I thought these were really cute and purchased them to take on a trip to Australia for daytime touring. I have purchased many pairs of Taos sandals previously and expected these to be a good choice. When I got them, I could not believe how HEAVY they were! (A woman on my trip had a pair that looked identical but were made by a different manufacturer; she said hers were very light.) Also, the toe box for the shoe was small and cramped my foot from the get-go. And the heel was loose - all in all, not the shoe for me!
