The shoes are adorable! If they were at all comfortable I would have kept them. If you are looking for a shoe that offers any cushioning, this is not your shoe.

The style is cute but I’m still waiting for them to “soften.” They’re still quite stiff and uncomfortable after wearing them for several weeks. I bought them after seeing all the hype on Instagram; comfort was a big seller but for me, they’re not comfortable.

Ugh, I should have listened to the other reviewers. The sole is very stiff and heavy, the canvas is very stiff, and they slip off the heel. Plus, they squeak on the floor! Easy decision to return these.

Meh Agree with other reviewers: very firm canvas, heavy sole, and the bottoms squeak on hard floor like a choir of mice. They look great on my feet but that’s not enough for me. I’ll be returning.

Boy I really wanted to like these. I have many Taos sandals and love them. Read a ton of reviews about the Plim Soul athletic shoe. Read the description of the shoe. Re-read it was recommended by all to go half a size up. I did. And I got the wide width which is necessary for me. I have bunions flat feet and RA. So I don't mind spending more for shoes. And I research before I buy. These were a huge disappointment. So tight, narrow and short in length I could barely get them on. Even removed the inserts. There was no way I could wear them. Sent them back. Zappos as always is great to deal with and one reason I feel confident in ordering something because I know I can return if they're not right. I personally don't recommend this shoe.

So disappointed. The canvas was so stiff it would have given me blisters in a few areas.

I really wanted to love this shoe- the size and width were perfect, but the heel slipped with every step I took. Kind of like the heel cup wasn't high enough to enclose the top of my heel in the shoe. The other Taos shoes I ordered fit the same way, so this might be an issue with this brand.

These shoes are really cute. Unfortunately, they gave me terrible blisters. I ordered my usual shoe size and my heel moves up and down. I added in a heel grip to see if that helps. The arch feels like it's way too intense and not in the right spot. The left side of the ball of my foot feels like it's got weird pressure on it. I'm disappointed overall.

I've been buying and wearing these for years. What on earth has happened to this company? I ordered a new pair last month (sorry, but the soles of these wear out three times faster than the uppers) and the new pair is as stiff as a board, painful to wear. and squeaks so loudly that I'm embarrassed to wear them anywhere. This is more than a case of needing to wear them a few times to break them in. They have been my absolute favorite sneakers ever in the past, and I've recommended them to more people than I can count - even when I got a pair that wasn't correctly made I stayed loyal - and this is just a huge disappointment. I mean, the stiffness and squeaking is out of control ridiculous. What's wrong, Taos Shoes?

I ordered a half size up from my normal size 9, and they were still pretty snug..and stiff, i thought.

Even though I ordered a wide they were too narrow for my feet.

The right shoe rubbed my toe weird, but the left was fine. It was almost wide enough for my small bunion

The back of the heel is way too low, as others have said. And it collapses into itself when putting it on. I am returning these unfortunately. The arch support and comfort and adorable style were all incredible. They really need to fix the low heel in the back thing. Oh. And size 6 fit me and I almost always wear size six.

Painful near toe and across the width of foot right below the toes. Made a terrible squeaky sound on hardwood floors. Returned.

This would have been my 3rd pair of Plim Souls, had they NOT been a full size smaller than my previous pairs - 39. I even ordered the wide. Nope, the shoes were too small. Too bad, back they go.

I chose Excellent Arch support because it was the only choice for Too High arch support. It was recommended to size up, but that made it too big everywhere but the length, Or maybe its a wide shoe to start with.

They were super uncomfortable.. Felt hard on my arch.

I will be returning these, unfortunately. They are a little bigger than a same size 9, similar style Taos shoe that I've had for a few years. There is a strange feeling of a grip or ledge under toes- almost like a Birkenstock sandal but not in the right place. The biggest problem though is that they make a squishing noise when I walk on a wooden or laminate floor!! The shoes went right back in the box when I heard that. It is very disappointing. There are also some sort of dusty finger prints on one of the shoes and on the box. There was no paper in one of the shoes and the laces are crumpled. They look like they have been sent out and returned multiple times.

I have two pairs of the Moc Star and love them. I hoped this would be even better, but it's going back. The canvas is stiff and rough, it's bulky and heavy and not at all comfortable. To top it off, the pair I received had been worn - a fair amount of scuffing and dirt.
