Very impressed with this shoe. As i have gotten older, my running miles are turning more and more into walking miles. The PureFlow 7 is perfect for which ever choice I make for the day. They have a good casual look too. Great for other relaxing social attire.

I have been using/buying the Brooks Pureflow since the Pureflow 3 days. The best running/workout shoe I have ever had. I get a 1/2 size bigger on everyone and its consistent on the sizing side. Materials and design are top notch. Great for running on paved roads and treadmills. Also fantastic for the weight room with a sturdy yet light feel.

This is my first pair of Brooks shoes. I am very impressed with the quality and comfort. They feel very supportive and light when I work out. I wear a size 11 and it fits well. The only problem is the width feels slightly narrow but still good. I will definitely add Brooks to my selection of brands I will purchase in the future.

I wear a woman's size 11 running shoe but prefer the cut/fit of a man's 9-1/2. This shoe fits perfectly. Last year I had ordered my first Brooks Pure Flow in black(I wanted the same color again but it does not appear to be available in the flow 7) so I ordered the gray which has an unusual vertical line op quality. I was initially hesitant but have decided I do like the color/material. However, the first gray pair arrived w/ a manufacturer issue - they were not the same color gray. One shoe color was a 'reddish' gray and the other a 'bluish' gray. I called Zappos to advise of this problem and a perfectly matched gray pair was sent out immediately. All good. While these shoes have enough support, there is less heel area thickness and this gives me more of a feeling of forward momentum rather than the potential ankle rolling to the side I experience from heavier bottomed running shoes.

These are the most comfortable, best-fitting shoes I've had in a long time. The sole is aggressive, so you don't have to worry about slipping. I run on both the pavement and treadmill. Good for both.

I like the new styling. I have the pureflow 6 in size 9 and the pureflow 7 was a tiny bit too tight in the toe box. Size 9.5 is on the way. Hopefully will fit better. Other than the slightly smaller size its my go to running shoe!!!

These seem to be only a small update from last year, which is great because it is more of a return to the original Pureflow idea: roomy toebox without being cavernous, somewhat soft underfoot but not mushy, and a nice low heel drop, in a minimal support shoe.
The tongue and bottom lacing have been slightly changed, but I can't tell yet if it is an improvement or not.
I wouldn't use these for trail running - your forefoot isn't secure enough.
I wouldn't use these for running on gravel roads - the open sole picks up and retains small rocks.
But if you want a nice trainer for road work, this is your shoe.

I had the pureflow 6’s and have put many miles on them. Thought I would try the new 7’s. First 5 mile run went great. Have used them for many more runs after. Definitely recommend these to others. I will purchase again for sure.

These were for my husband. He has had previous styles of the pure flow. He found these just as comfortable as the previous versions although very different looking. Hi

Seriously comfortable and stylish shoe. I normally get the Brooks running shoe for the support, even though I'm not a runner. These have the support and I don't have to fake being a runner :) Very happy with these Brooks.

The PureFlow 7's are a refresh of the 6's and that is a great thing since the 6's were the best in the series so far. Very comfortable and great for running or walking. The grey and copper looks great whether with running socks... or with jeans! ;)

Fit true to see. I thought they ran small, but they do not.

THese were pretty nice. Not as cushioned of a heel strike as other Brooks, but a solid shoe. Copper accents are very pronounced against the dark gray outer and the smooth interior fabric is probably one of the best features of any Brooks shoe.

One of my favorites! I really wish they had maintained the structure and feel of the flow 3, but I can't complain that the 7 is just as nice. Great job with this one!

Really like these runners. Positives - i find the "sock" outer holds up better than other brooks shoes (Glycerins, Cascadia, etc) which i tend to blowout where fabrics merge together. The price point is excellent. The road feel is nice. Negative - The tread loves to gobble up little rocks which can be annoaying if you are transitioning from paved to gravel paths.

My first ever Brooks running shoe. Love the look and design, and has an excellent secure comfortable fit and feel, but for a shoe defined as ?contact? it still offers too much cushion for this forefoot striker. Feels almost buoyant and unstable at times when I?m running. Lots of roll during foot strike. Excellent at picking up small bits of rock and gravel in tread. Found it to be all day comfortable for casual wear, however, and that may be its best use for me. Good looking, well-made shoe that I?m happy to wear.

Please bring back the Pure Cadence. The problem with the Pure Flow is that it catches gravel. You can't run in gravel even a little. If you bring back the Pure Cadence 7 I will buy several pairs. Revel is the closest current match but it's just not quite the same.

lateral foot support is very minimal due to a lack of reinforcement on the upper of this shoe. Better than average insoles with a decent heel cup for stability and some arch support.

I've worn a few of the Pure Flow's of the past and feel like this version is pretty good. Lightweight and highly flexible as it should be, The fit in the forefoot is a little narrow, but it doesn't bother. The underfoot is a little firm for the times, but I prefer this kind of feel. It's also getting colder and these foams tend to firm up in these conditions.

I usually wear Kinvara but I like to change up some times. These Pureflows are a bit heavier than the Kinvara but feel good on my feet. During my runs I have had no discomfort with the shoes. No blisters, hot spots, or other foot pain.
I'd also recommend:
Saucony Kinvara
