I was a little disappointed when I opened the box on these because it's clear that Brooks has moved on from the Pure Project, and these have been my every day mid-mileage shoe since V1 came out. The current shoe likes like and is marketed as a cross trainer. That said, the shoe turns out to be the exact thing I've been looking to run in for a long time. Neutral, low heel rise, decent cushioning but firm. Past iterations felt a little squishy, definitely not for racing. These feel light and fast. Brooks, please don't sunset this model. Or at least let me order 5 pairs of the hard to find size 12.5.

These are my favorite running shoes, ever. Period. Most comfortable, well fitting, appropriately but not overly supportive. On my 5th pair. Last 4 Half's in them. Only complaint, perhaps, would be I get pebbles, debris, etc inside the shoe often. But I am ok with that as they are easy on, easy off, once tied right. Thank you so much. You are my shoe people, even when I am not running. See ya layer

Great shoes! I appreciate the low drop compared to other Brooks options, and with them being one of the few options meeting this criteria, I truly hope Brooks continues making them or comes out with a successor very similar in nature. Ultra comfortable, no hot spots, you feel the run in the best way possible. I've put many miles on these and they've held up well. Many of the problems I was experiencing relating to knee and foot pain have subsided, with a change to this shoe being a big part of the equation among other things. Most comfortable running shoe I've owned, and I'll be buying another pair when the time comes (provided they're still available!). Highly recommend!

The best shoes i have ever had, they support my feet while allowing me to feel what is underfoot and have served me well for years. I never once felt uncomfortable in them. Sucks that brooks will probably discontinue them though.

Echoing the comments of others here. I'm a forefoot runner, love the lightweight construction with 4 mm drop. Have been running in the Pureflow and Purecadence lines for years now starting with PC version 2. Purecadence started adding awful heel stabilizers and changed up the sole so I switched to Pureflow. I'm currently on my fifth pair of version 7 and unfortunately it's looking like there will not be a version 8 (should have been released already). I've been a Brooks loyalist but if Pure is retired, I'm on to another brand as the rest of their line are absolute tanks with 8-11 mm of drop.

The Brooks PureFlow line of shoes is the best running shoes I have ever owned. I hope they never stop making them.

Love the Pureflow. Been running in these for it seems like around ten years. I have four pair of Pureflow 7, 2 for wearing around doing whatever and 2 for running. Please do not phase these shoes out!!

I just purchased my second pair of PureFlow 7s. I have 325 miles on my first pair. I've used these to train for my first marathon. These shoes are fantastic, and they have great durability. I'm a huge fan of the low drop, as I am a forefoot striker. You really won't find another shoe of this quality at this price. Before these, I ran in Nike Free RNs (3 mm drop). I also trained in Newton Gravity 7s. While not quite as light as the Gravity 7s (those are insanely light), these hold up much longer and, again, have a much better price-to-quality ratio. Definitely hoping for a PureFlow 8, as I'm now hooked on the Pure line.

Been running in PureFlows since the first edition. These are almost exactly like the 6's with some minor changes to the tongue and lacing. If you liked the 6s (which I did) you'll like these. I'm more worried that the next version hasn't been released yet - usually Brooks is like clockwork on yearly updates. I hope this shoe isn't being discontinued.....

If Brooks is really getting rid of their 4mm drop shoes, I'm out. I believe the pure line is being phased out. I don't get it. I love these shoes and they changed my running.

I love these shoes. For context I was very fond of the Nike Flex Fury 2 which is no longer made. I also really like the look of these shoes, as they dress up nice. One a recent trip to NYC these are the only shoes I took. Allowed me to enjoy 6-mile morning runs in Central Park and looked nice enough to wear to work (tech company) with nice jeans and a dress shirt

Fit was great. Same as other Brooks I've had as well as other brands (Merrell). I'm on my second pair of these. First pair were very durable and comfortable. Nice amount of cushioning but not overly so. Really happy with how durable the uppers are, I normally rip out the sides on my running shoes over time and these have held up. Only minor complaint is that the soles collect small rocks, not a problem on pavement but on gravel or trails it can be annoying.

I prefer to run in low drop connected shoes, but I've been experiencing some knee and foot pain recently. I decided to try the Pure Flows and I am really glad I did. I'm now running pain free and really enjoying the Pure Flows. I just hope brooks decides to keep making the Pure Flow line, because I don't think there's another shoe that offers such a great balance of support, cushion and connectedness!

Original order got lost in the mail so never received it. Called Zappos customer service to inform and the representative was super kind and serviceable; she replaced the order with a new one and my shoes were in the next day. Thank you Zappos.

The shoes are exactly as described and arrived when promised. Disappointed that Brooks stopped making this model, but I'm glad Zappos still had a pair available. Thank you!

Not sure why people are so hard on this. Have been wearing them for years, have a nice sized toe box for my large, but hobbit-shaped feet.
