I have been buying brooks adrenaline for years. This year they changed the design completely and in the process ruined he fit for me. :( the shoe soles are much softer not enough support, the wide toe box is gone, and the heel area is to tight. I ordered theses in a medium width as i have in the past. I could have tried a wide width but it is to late now for that, also the support is gone so it would have been useless. I should have retuned these but kept thinking i would get use to them. Sadly a great shoe gone bad.. :( I hope they bring the old style back in the GTS 19 :).

I'm a loyal Brookes customer, but am unhappy with a recent purchase. I've only used these shoes for running for maybe a month total and they're already failing me. I wasn't happy with the design when I got them, (Grey and Pink, but the Grey looks like man loafers) that was quickly forgiven because I ran a 10k the first time wearing them and they were very comfortable. For a couple weeks now, the right toe area has a piece of fabric that isn't attached to the shoe and keeps getting under my big toe, very annoying and uncomfortable. Of note, I jog 5 days a week, 3 to 4 mile average. Disappointed.

It was half a size smaller. The larger size squeezed.

I’ve bought three pairs of this Brooks shoe prior to this - the GTS 17. However this time they no longer have the GTS 17 model and I needed to order the GTS 18. Bad news! As sometimes happens changes have been made that (for me) have negatively impacted the fit and therefore comfort of this shoe. Very disappointing!

Long story short, all the negative reviews are true. After two consecutive pairs of the GTS 17, which I adored and wore right out of the box, these are a poor replacement. They run narrow, pinch, and feel like they are coming off at the heels when walking. Back they go...

It has a roomy toe box for individuals with bunions. The shoe seems too large which makes walking challenging after an extended period of time. After wearing them in the gym for an hour, I could tell that there is inadequate cushioning. The material of the shoe appears cheap. What do you expect? The shoes was made in China.

After trying the Dyad 10 and the Addition 13 by Brooks I went to the Brooks website and took a little shoe quiz that said the Adrenline GTS 18 was the shoe for me , but that was not so. This shoe has very little padding in the toe but a wide toe box. The instep of this shoe was narrower than I needed. The heel slipped when I walked and I could put 2 fingers in the heel. I would have ordered a shorter, wider shoe but that would have made a really huge toe box.

I purchased this in 11. i usually wear 10.5, but the new Adrenaline is AWFUL. Funny thing is, they are great out of the box, but the 10.5 I bought started casting severe muscle and knee issues because of the way they changed my gait. So I thought A larger size would help. It did not. I hope Zappos gives feedback to Brooks. Quit the drastic changes. You had a very good shoe, and changed it apparently for style.

I have been running in Brooks Adrenaline for over 10 years buy a few pairs a year. This model doesn't have as much structure and my feet are not supported as well. I had a running analysis done wearing these shoes and I was told to throw them out. I am concerned that I can't get the old models anymore. Off to a shoe store to see my options.

I ended up returning these. The fit nicely, had nice room in the toe box. However, the heel support wasn't that great, and there was a flaw in the ball of the foot area, with a piece of plastic that almost pierced the insert. I was very disappointed.

What’s with all of the soft fabric? These shoes do nothing to stabilize my feet. They rolled to the outside as soon as I stood up. I have tailor’s bunions, and these shoes simply won’t work for me. Loved my Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 and 16. Have scoured the internet and Zappo’s inventory for athletic shoes for overpronation. I’m thinking I’m going to have to wait for a style change as other brands don’t look like they would fit much better.

This Adrenaline 18 is MUCH less stable than previous Adrenalines after two weeks of wear. I own three Adrenalines, two of which are 16 while the other is probably a 17. Though it felt great the first day, the 18 became squishy ( in much the same condition as my old,worn out Adrenalines) w/in two weeks of wear. I returned the pair as defective.

Overall I am pretty bummed with these shoes. I have worn Brooks for as long as I can remember for running (outdoor and treadmill) and these feel very low quality compared to what I have experienced with Brooks over the years. My foot slides around in them, which is not a sizing issues, it's a quality issue. The shoes just don't feel as stable as what I know Brooks can be. The look is super cute and chic, which has it's place. But I would much rather have functionality.

(2 stars cause I love love love the look and color of the grey /rose ) ( otherwise no star for poor arch support)... A loyal Brooks Adrenaline fan for at least a decade- hit or miss over the years. The 17 had amazing [high] arch / support- unlike the new 18- no arch / support. Sorry Brooks, but what’s up with the [in]consistency? Thanks to Zappos for excellent customer service, though!

Really wanted these to work as my DIL highly recommended them. I normally wear a 7 wide but I couldn't even get my foot into this shoe. I will order again in an 8.

I ordered what I thought was a stability shoe in a narrow. Lengthwise it’s trye to size but width, definitely not. After trying them on I checked to make sure I’d actually been sent a 2A/Narrow. Yup, or so the label claims. They’re wider than an old pair of new balance I have that are medium width. Further, they have little to no arch support or cushioning, although I can correct the support somewhat with my aetrex orthotics. Because I need a narrow I always seem to end up with ugly running shoes and I was kind of excited about these pretty Brooks, but they have to go back. In terms of fit (if you want to compare), Mizuno narrows usually work best for me.

I'm disappointed. I wish I could return these, but I've worn them a few times. I have the same style sneaker from a few years ago, which fit like a glove. This pair is the same size, and my feet are coming out of the backs as I walk. I stopped on the treadmill 3 times to untie and then tighten them across the whole foot, so that I didn't fall. My feet are swimming in them...very unhappy, these were a lot of money.

These are very good looking shoes, unfortunately they did not fit well. I ordered a size up and they were still too small.

No arch support in this shoe- I have flat feet so back go Zappos they go. Too bad, otherwise very cute comfy, just not supportive enough for exercise for me.

Zappos sold the shoe they were given. Very disappointed in the redesign of Brooks Adrenalin GTS 18. I depended on this shoe, buying a new pair every six months, as my work requires lots of walking. Even had them drop shipped to a conference I was running. Wore them for one day and my toes were screaming so went back to my old ones - more comfort. So disappointed because a good black, support shoe is so important. I'll go to local athletic shoe store and measure my feet again but this was same size as 6 months ago. As for Zappos - they did their job, drop-shipping; arrived on time, very happy with them. But shame on you Brooks. The inconvenience now of returning shoes, searching out the old design, too bad. I hope Zappos sends this review to Brooks.

Fell apart within the first month of wearing. Sad that this new model doesn't hold up like the other Adrenaline models did.

The shoes initially felt great when I slipped them on, but with the first few steps I could tell they were nothing like previous Brooks Adrenalines I've worn. They didn't feel sturdy enough to hold up to the miles. The shoes didn't hug my ankle very well either, which made my heels feel like they were slipping around in the back of the shoe. I'm bummed to report I have to return them.

I have worn the GTS 17 and loved it. The GTS 18 is an entirely different shoe. It does not have as much arch as the 17. They have added more padding which after just a few days of wearing has packed down and now the shoes are too wide and slip on my heal. I buy Brooks because they carry narrow sizes. Also the new covering doesn't breathe like the mesh does. They will be too hot in the summer. Brooks, please bring back the GTS17!!
