I like the hook and loop feature since at age 91 i is hard for me to tie the strings.. The only negative would be the price.

New Balance was recommended by my podiatrist for use with custom orthotics because of the range of shoe widths and spacious toe box. The show is quite comfortable as soon as it is worn when new. Very quick and easy to put on and take off.

I have flat feet with custom orthotic inserts. I have to wear these shoes indoors and out so these even are my indoor slippers, too. Hook and loop means I can even put them on in the dark and they also adjust to thicker wool socks in the winter months very easily.

They fit well and look nice. I will continue to purchase them as needed.

I have been purchasing these shoes for my husband over the past few years. They provide excellent support for his feet and are easy to put on and take off. As one ages they may have balance issues & this is the only shoe I know of that has the roll-bar on each side of the heel. I wish you would make it in brown and make one for women in anime color. navy blue?

My husband needed good shoes for walking. They are easy for him to put in and take off himself.

if you are on your feet for most of your work day I highly recommend these as others have said thanks to NB I finally don't worry about foot pain during work and the options for wide footers is a plus

These shoes are the perfect fit. They are so easy to put on & take off. They are very comfortable & they never come untied!

Shoes used for daily wear, and I walk a good bit over uneven terrain. The hook-and-loop closure is particularly useful when the dog MUST go out for business at Oh-dark-30 in the rain. After a couple of years, uppers tend to come apart.
